About this bed and breakfast

You'll be just blocks away from everything this city has to offer. Walking distance to just about everything downtown including the Utah State Capitol, Temple Square, City Creek Mall and City Creek Canyon.
If you are visiting Salt Lake City for a convention, skiing, or anything else this amazing city has to offer, this is the perfect location. Easy access to shopping, restaurants. bars, and skiing. Most within walking distance of your front door.

You will be just 20-30 minutes from Park City and several major ski resorts.
Inside you'll find tasteful furnishings throughout as well as fresh clean towels and sheets.
Outside you will find your own private patio overlooking the pool. Off street parking is available and a hot tub is on the property.
This is not meant to be a party house. If you are looking to party, please keep looking. This is our guest home attached to our main residence, please be respectful of our property and our neighbors.
FYI the pool is generally opened up for the season around Mother's Day and closed for the winter around the end of September depending on weather. The pool is winterized and closed for the entire winter.

We enjoyed 4 fantastic nights located on the hill just above Salt Lake City. Perfect location, able to explore the city on foot with easy access to everything. The house was beautifully appointed with plenty of room and a gorgeous pool to relax in. The owners were on hand at all times via the app, to ensure we had everything we needed. Would highly recommend to all!

Beautiful locale and well-appointed home. I would highly recommend. Hosts were certainly friendly and accommodating. Walking distance to many places, including the State Capitol, was a plus. Given we stayed during the colder season, the inside garage parking was appreciated.

Beautiful Spanish style home and guest house. Plenty of room in the bedrooms, living room and fully equipped kitchen. The hot tub was lovely. The dogs were very cute. We came to visit family and ski, and the location worked well for both. Great area for walking, great neighborhood and very quiet at night. Would love to stay here again.

We stayed here between ski trips in the SLC area. It was the perfect size for our group of three to spread out and work remotely without feeling cramped but still very cozy. It was also so close to the Capitol which provided a great outdoor amenity for walks when we needed a break. Close to a lot of restaurants and hosts were very friendly and attentive. This is a lovely property. The hosts were very nice and helpful when we needed anything. The guesthouse is exactly as it looks in the pictures (maybe even better in person!) The location was perfect for us, close enough to downtown but not right in the middle of everything. Easy to get to the interstate so getting to and from everything was very easy. We were here with 3 adults and there was plenty of space for all of our things and never felt cramped. The backyard/ pool area felt like we were at our own little retreat. Just the space we needed to enjoy our weekend!

We had a fantastic stay here, just feet from the Capitol. The house was lovely with an amazing backyard compete with pool, therapeutic hot tub, and tons of quiet space to lounge. The neighborhood was fantastic and the proximity to all things Salt Lake City has to offer can’t be overstated. The hosts really make the extra effort to make sure everything is perfect. I will definitely stay here again.

This vacation rental was perfect! Beautiful pool area & patio! The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. The washer & dryer came in so handy. The location and the atmosphere were great! So much to do in this area & whether you're enjoying the city or hiking in the mountains you can come back for a nice swim before heading to a fabulous SLC dinner!! We highly recommend!!

The property was OK, the main living space was clean, but the bedrooms pillow shams and comforters were not so clean, specifically the pillow shams to the bedroom we slept in. They were pretty smelly (BO) all bed coverings should be washed per guests stay, entire bed cleanliness is a must to make it a truly comfortable stay, the bed sheets and pillow cases and blanket were clean but had old stains; the laundry closet should have doors being that it is in the bedroom. The doors inside should be re-stained. I was disappointed with these things because the property was rated high for cleanliness and that’s why I selected it.

A nice property and interesting, like a Mediterranean villa tucked into the city. The photos accurately show the features of the property, and the landlord was very helpful. Our problem came from why we came to Salt Lake City from out-of-state: a kidney transplant for my wife at the University of Utah Research Hospital. This is a serious surgery, and we were required to remain for five weeks following the procedure. What wasn't shown in the photos is the distance from parking and the number of concrete steps (15) to climb to get there. This was hard for my wife before the procedure, and near-impossible afterward. So I had to rent another place with underground parking and an elevator, which meant paying double-rent for a period of time. If we'd been in town for any normal purpose, this would have worked out well.

This property was perfect. It is clean, offers all the accommodations, you need and is located within walking distance of many landmarks. I would enthusiastically recommend this to anyone. We just returned from a lengthy stay at this fabulous guesthouse and truly want to head back! What an oasis in the most adorable neighborhood! We loved walking to the Capitol to watch sunsets and couldn’t have asked for a better location to get to everything we wanted to see in SLC and beyond. Breakfast on the patio overlooking the beautifully landscaped backyard and pool was our favorite. Our on-site hosts were so kind and accommodating and only added to our great vacation (cutest dogs were bonus!) We highly recommend this property!!

Kyle's guesthouse is by far the best short-term rental property I have ever stayed in. It was clean, had the amenities you would expect plus a hot tub, pool, and an apple TV perfect for casting. My daughters and I had an amazing time staying in the guest house. The owner was very responsive and helpful. This charming house is in a great location close to everything. You could see the Capitol from the front yard and it was very beautiful lit up at night. Kensey and Ellie were adorable. Would definitely recommend staying in this charming guest house.

The owners of this property are so nice and responsive to questions/issues. The decorations are cute and comfortable. It would be a 5 if we had stayed in the summer to enjoy the outside spaces and it had parking for our SUV. We stayed on a very busy week when the cherry blossoms were out and there was an LDS convention. The home's proximity to the Capitol Building and the LDS facilities made parking quite difficult. I would recommend this property for a couple or two close friends, have a small car that will fit in their small garage and wish to spend a nice stay quietly enjoying time in their lovely backyard and walking to the Capitol or downtown.. They have two friendly little schnauzers and that was a bonus!

Everything was close nearby! Within a few blocks, we could walk to Temple Square, the State Capitol, DUP museum, Visitor Center and the beautiful walking area at Memory Grove. The house is very nice and was plenty big for my husband and me. We found it had all we needed. You can believe the posted reviews. Rick and Kyle responded when we had questions which is much appreciated. We were very happy for our week. I would definitely return.

Kyle's place is an excellent short term stay in downtown Salt Lake City. It's a very safe and welcoming place, almost like a compound. It includes a locked private garage and a great hot tub. Kyle is very helpful. Two cute dogs too, one of which ran in the unit, did a quick lap, and ran out. Walking distance to lots of things. Highly recommended.
