The property was wonderful regarding all things -clean-great kitchen -comfortable-etc. EXCEPT it is nearly impossible to take a shower and absolutely impossible for an 80 year old!

Very clean and would stay there again. The clawfoot bathtub/shower is a little tricky. We enjoyed the location, and it was easy to get to everything. The deck was cozy and relaxing.

Fantastic little cottage right in Sutton’s Bay! The home was immaculately clean, with everything we needed for our stay. Fluffy beach towels were a nice surprise! Our family of 6, with 3 teens and a tween, had no issues. Only one bunk bed, but knew that from reading reviews so planned accordingly. It was very quiet, even with busy businesses on either side. Enjoyed eating our ice cream on the deck listening to the music. Definitely would stay again!

This is a great value. The location cannot be beat for easy strolls for dinner and only one house north of ice cream! My kids love this house, we have returned now 2 years and look forward to more.

When we got there the property seemed clean, perfect location and great. However through our stay we found two live cockroaches, an extremely dirty pillow we slept on and the owners did not do anything about the cockroaches. The tub is very hard to get in and out of. The description says two bunkbeds but there is only one bunkbed. We were extremely disgusted with the cockroaches and could not wait to leave unfortunately.

Great place to stay in Suttons Bay. Perfect for our kids, ages 3 and 6 with easy access to the beach, playground, farmer's market, ice cream shop, restaurants, and bike path. We had a great time and hope to return next summer!

Sutton Bay is a perfect central location between the wineries, Traverse City, Fish Town, Sleeping Bear Dunes etc…it’s quiet, peaceful & scenic!

Check in was easy, property clean, for 2 people very roomy, kitchen good but no blinds on door wall.. great location for Leelanau Peninsula outings and downtown Suttons Bay. T.C. 20 miles down M22..we enjoyed our stay

We had a great time and loved the convenience. The only downside is the shower/tub. Though a quaint vintage tub, it’s very difficult to get in and out of especially for seniors. I recommend that they remodel to a new shower. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay and the owners pre shopped for us as we were arriving late.

We couldn't have asked for a better experience in Sutton's Bay. We spent a whole day and several evenings there at the beach (across the street) and dining at the Village Inn. We also did day trips to Mackinac Island and Sleeping Bear Dunes.

We checked in later in the evening and it was difficult to find the rental. Everything was so dark and it made it hard to find the house and entrance. Nicely appointed rental and very convenient location! I think we will revisit during a warmer time of year.

Great location on M22, the unit was very clean, and roomy for us, 4, kitchen well equipped with utensils coffee maker with filters, with a separate grinder for whole beans ..beds comfortable, bathroom good, could use a hand rail for shower and deck could have been cleaned of bird droppings..

Good location. Close to beach, TART trail, wineries. Little one enjoyed his room. Outside patio/garden was great. Really enjoyed the music from restaurant next door. A lot of restaurants closed during beginning of week. Local grocery store was good.

Location, location, location!

This place served as a perfect “base” to explore Leelanau County. Close enough to everything but far enough away to relax. We loved being Suttons Bay “locals” for our 5 days. We will be back!

The rental property is immaculate , however the back deck is directly(within feet) of a restaurant next door. You can hear their conversations, music and smell the food. We felt uncomfortable playing our own music and chatting. Also, the rental is non smoking, however we were smoking outside and the restaurant complained! We were on our property and had to move back to the alley. Also, the tub/shower is Very difficult if not impossible for older adults with limited movement. Both of these should be mentioned in the listing. Perfect rental otherwise! Center of everything.

Loved the location, couldn’t be better. Right at the end of the downtown strip and a block from the public beach. The back patio was a highlight as well. The owner was even able to accommodate our slightly early arrival seamlessly. The only downside was that I was expecting two bunk beds due to the two bunk icons in the listing. Thankfully, two of our kids fit on the pull out couch and it wasn’t an issue.

This was a great winter weekend in Sutton’s Bay. Tons to do in the area, from skating to sledding to skiing. The home was so cute. Spotlessly clean, cozy, and inclusive of all the amenities you would want/need. King size bed was a dream. Kids bedroom is perfect for two small kids. The hosts were so helpful and responsive.
