This is our privately owned vacation home, not a corporate rental, when we're not there, it is our pleasure to share it with fellow north shore lovers. Every piece of furniture and art was hand selected to provide a beautiful and oh so comfortable home to return to after a hard day at play on the north shore. A dramatic two story wall of windows facing the lake lets you enjoy the sights and sounds of this incredible body of water, it's mesmerizing.
Our home is perfect for one or two couples, there are two bedrooms, one on each floor, each with a connected bath for privacy. Our home's amazing view and ideal location attracts lots of inquiries from travelers with a 5th or 6th person, rather than turn them down, we added twin air mattresses so we can accommodate six guests, that is our maximum.
Enjoy the amenities of an upscale resort without the noise and crowds. Indoor Heated pool, (open mid May through New Year's Day), a year around sauna a short walk away.
The Gitchi-Gami State Trail is at the top of Windsong Drive, walk or ride bikes to Split Rock Lighthouse and Gooseberry Falls. Palisade Head and Tettegouche State Park are a few miles up 61. Easy access to the Superior Hiking Trail, hike for miles through forests, along ridges, rivers, waterfalls and lakes. What an amazing place in every season, come explore by day and relax in style and comfort at night.
Winter guests enjoy miles and miles of nearby cross country and snowmobile trails. The midwest's best downhill skiing is just 40 minutes away at Lutsen. Gooseberry Falls park and Split Rock both have beautiful, groomed cross country ski trails, we use them to snowshoe too. There's nothing like spending time on foot, skis or snowshoes in the woods in winter. It's good for your body, mind and soul.
Walk to nearby restaurants: Cove Point Lodge, Lemon Wolf Cafe, Tracks N Racks, Crossings Bar & Grille and The Big Dipper Ice cream shop which is open seasonally. You'll love how conveniently located our home is, come play!

Nice condo in the midst of three iconic state parks and the SHT. Second time for us in this property. Kitchen is well stocked with all the pots, pans and utensils needed to create home cooked meals. Comfortable living room and dining area. The nieces loved the downstairs bedroom with their own bathroom. The master suite takes up the entire top level and is very comfortable with great views over the lake. We would rent this property again.

This home is as well-stocked as I can imagine, with books, games, cd's, dvd's, kitchen supplies, and everything is up-to-date and working. It's a beautiful place. The only thing I could ask for is shore access.

For a quiet North Shore get-a-way this checks all of the boxes! The host is clear, efficient and accommodating to uncertainty that accompanies a vacation with family.

We enjoyed our stay over the long holiday weekend. The home was nicely appointed and cozy and had gorgeous views of the lake. Though it was a busy summer weekend on the North Shore, we felt like we were able to get away from it all here. Close to the parks, hiking and beaches, but also nestled in a quiet spot on the coast.

Very clean, very well supplied, cozy and comfortable. We are trying to find a time to visit again. Good local hiking at both State Parks and the Superior Hiking Trail. Immediate access to Gitchee Gumee biking trail.

We had a wonderful stay. It rained all day once and we played games and enjoyed the company of our other family members! We did get some hiking in and waterfall viewing!

We are elderly, 70 and 85 and this home was perfect for us. It is very comfortable with fantastic views of Lake Superior. We tend to spend more time at the home rather than out so comfort ranks above ultra stylish. One bedroom is on ground floor and offers privacy for the
handicapped. The gas fireplace was great. We hope to visit again.

This was our 2nd time staying here. Once again, had a very relaxing time celebrating our anniversary. The property is beautiful and very clean. Everything we needed in the kitchen to do our cooking. We will be back again.

Very cozy townhouse on the shore of Lake Superior. The location was great - a short drive to many state parks. We enjoyed making our own breakfast and dinner each day. The jetted tub was so relaxing after a day of hiking.

The property owners have done a wonderful job of maintaining this rental. We stayed here 5 years ago and we felt the property hadn't aged a day since then.
We had everything we needed to be comfortable right down to the smallest detail. The bathrooms and kitchen were well stocked and the entire home including flooring, walls and furniture were all in great shape.
I appreciated the owners attention to detail regarding instructions for check-in, check-out, and how to operate things within the home. Very well done.
The morning sunrises over the lake from both the upstairs bedroom and the entire downstairs were outstanding. We really appreciate the opportunity to stay here.

We couldn’t have been happier with our stay. This home was in the perfect location for traveling up and down the shore with great access to bike paths. The view of the lake with the morning sunrise was everything we hoped for. Very clean, cozy, and well maintained home.

This was the perfect property for our annual mother/son getaway! The owners take such care to make sure guests feel welcome and comfortable. The view of the lake is stunning and having a deck to enjoy it makes it even better. The beds were extremely comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked if you're eating in. We love the location of Beaver Bay as it's so convenient to the gorgeous state parks and only an hour away from Grand Marais for the perfect day trip and the world's best donuts! Thank you Jo for being such a wonderful host!

We've stayed in many VRBOs on the North Shore, and this might have been the most well-stocked place, including every kitchen item one could need, LOTS of spices, extra blankets, soap, toilet paper, movies (DVD and VHS), a variety of games, and more. It was also amazingly clean. To top it off, Jo was so easy to communicate with and responded very quickly. The location is ideal with such close proximity to Tettegouche, Split Rock, and Gooseberry Falls state parks.

We had a perfect time celebrating out 53rd anniversary in this lovely home. The photos were an exact depiction of what we saw. The house was clean, the decor simple cozy, and even seasonal! Lots of notes for use of appliances were helpful, the cozy blankets and furnishings were appreciated. It was delightful! Location was spot on...view of lake, nearness to great food, everything...pretty much perfect!
