About this house rental

Renovated in 2017 and just updated to white kitchen cabinets. The home has a great beach feel. We Love this location. You can see the ocean from the front yard.... that's how close we are to the beach. A 3 minute walk to beautiful Popponesset beach! Renovated the home Spring 2017. We purchased the house from the original owner in August of 2016. Our family owns two other homes on this 14 house dead end street. Walk six houses and down a short path before crossing the only bridge on Dean's pond and you are at the beach. This four bedroom house is ideal for large families or two small families. With a deck and a screened in porch there is plenty of room to enjoy family dinners and conversation. Kitchen is very well stocked for all your cooking needs. We know this area very well. We had a wonderful stay at the property during labor day weekend. The house was clean, well-equipped, and just the right size for our party of 7. It was a short walk to the beach and our kids loved seeing the ducks on the nearby pond. The hosts were really easy to work with and responsive.

House was perfect. Kristy was an amazing host. Very quick to respond. Linens and towels were a huge plus. Toys for our son was a bonus. Would most definitely stay here again.

We stayed at this property for a week this past July. The location is great-Quiet neighborhood, short walk to beach and market. Upon arrival the home smelled quite musty, and it immediately became obvious that all of the window AC units were full of mold inside and out. We contacted the owners, and they were quick to respond, saying that they would send someone over in the morning to look at them. We took the units out of the windows so we could at least have open air circulation through the night. In the morning, the person came and confirmed that it was indeed black mold. The owner then texted us saying that he was placing a Home Depot order and we could go pick them up and install them. Our family spent a whole day of vacation driving to Hyannis, and installing AC units. The owner did not even say thank you! We wrote to them to tell them that the situation wasn’t handled properly, and they never responded. Would not recommend.

We stayed here with three adult couples, a toddler, and an infant for an October wedding at the nearby Popponesset Inn. The location was ideal and the house was very cozy! We cooked meals in the kitchen during our stay. We went on walks to the beach (just a few minutes away) and our toddler enjoyed using the wagons and toys in the house. We used the pack n play crib for our infant. The hosts were very responsive and check in and check out was a breeze. Would definitely recommend!

Only stayed for one night, but now wishing we had stayed longer! The home was clean, spacious and in a perfect location. The owners were so easy to communicate with and made it such an easy process for us. Took advantage of the walk to the beach and in the end just wish we booked more nights! Would absolutely return!

Nice cottage near Popponesset Inn. Family- 7adults- stayed to attend a wedding. Cottage clean, nice beach at end of street over a footbridge. Convenient. Mashpee Commons close by.

We had a short walk to the private beach that was not crowded at all the last week of August. The week prior to Labor Day. A fantastic location for walking, riding bikes in a neighborhood setting. Close to the Popponesset Inn, grocery stores and other restaurants and grocery stores etc. Our hosts were responsive and very helpful with all of our questions.

Great property, especially the kitchen and eating areas. Walk to beach (plenty of chairs and wagon included) and walk to Raw Bar with the best lobster rolls on the Cape.

Property is beautiful and very well kept. The owner was very responsive to our questions and very accommodating. We were there for my son’s wedding with my 93 year old mother. She was able to get around the house easily. Great neighborhood. Found a nice little walking trail at the end of the street that went along the pond or you could cross over the footbridge to get to the beach

We enjoyed the light, bright interior of this spacious cottage. The proximity to the water was so close to the best beach in all of popponesset. Owners were so nice and attentive to any needs we had . I already want to go back !!! Best vacation !!!

The house was clean and just as expected based on the online listing. It was a beautiful (and short) walk to the beach and marketplace. And the kids loved being able to bike anywhere.

We had a nice week with two families fitting comfortably in this beach cottage. Great neighborhood for bike rides and walks to pond and beach, and super easy walk to the Poppy marketplace!
