We are close to many excellent bike paths, the Madison Lakes, golf courses, UW and SSM Hospitals, the Palace Movie Theater, Henry Vilas FREE Zoo, Overture Center of performing arts, Casinos, grocery stores and shopping centers. We are about 40 minutes from the Wisconsin Dells Water Parks We offer easy parking right at the front door, a patio and two acres of property to walk around. Easy access from the interstate 90/94/39

“A Touch of Country Living” offers everything you need for a weekend or extended getaway. We stayed for a 3-day weekend and never had a need that wasn’t met by this charming property. Everything was just as described. We didn’t spend a lot of time at the house because we were busy with activities in Madison, but future visits to the house will have to have time built in to just relax. We played golf at University Ridge Golf Course and ate in Madison each evening. The property is close enough to commute back and forth as needed, yet it feels so far away from the city when considering how quiet and calm it is when you settle back in at night. We plan to visit Madison quite often, and we definitely hope to stay here again.

This property was perfect for us! Comfortable, beautiful and safe location, well-stocked, nicely decorated. We had everything we needed in the space and there were many activities nearby. The owners were kind and accommodating, and the communication was excellent. Would stay here again and highly recommend!!

We chose this home for its relaxing location and we were extremely happy with it. In fact, this may be the BEST rental we've ever had in terms of cleanliness, space and organization. My husband uses a walker and he had no trouble getting around. The drive to (or around) the UM campus is an easy one. Less than 10 minutes to grocery, gas, restaurants and Walmart. Plan to stay here again next time we are in Madison. Highly recommended!

Our stay here was truly amazing! It went above and beyond our expectations. Clean, cozy, and incredible. Barb is a fantastic host. She met us upon check-in and even supplied some toys for our kids to enjoy during the stay. I would give this 100 stars if I could. We have already booked our trip back next year. So blessed to have found this touch of country living!

Perfect place for us, my wife is disabled and she was able to access everything without any issue. Kitchen was so nice and well stocked. We are already planning a return trip. The hosts were great too!

This is a lovely place; clean, quiet, and the hosts have thought of everything for their guests. The kitchen is well supplied, the furniture and beds are comfortable. We took advantage of the outdoor patio seating and grill, which was a bonus for us. Definitely recommend this place, and hope to return on our next visit to Madison.

This was a great space to stay for our 5-day stay. We were close to attractions in the area and downtown Madison, but far enough from the city to be quiet and easy to access. Vrbo hosts, Barb and Butch anticipated all our needs with supplies readily available in guest house. We especially enjoyed the great patio space and having a washer and dryer to use. Just like home!

This was the perfect place for out of town family members to spend time with our son who recently moved to Madison. We enjoyed talking, eating, and playing games at this very peaceful home. Loved the patio. Very quiet.

We came out for a mountain bike race nearby and couldn't have been happier with our time at this place. Barb and Butch were wonderful hosts! There was a lot of space for my son and I to relax and unwind - and the place was immaculate. The kitchen is well stocked and everything is marked so it is easy to find. Chocolates and water to greet us were such nice touches, too. We were able to venture in to see UW Madison very easily as well as go up to Englewood (where the race was). Such an idyllic setting! I would recommend this place to anyone!

House, hosts and yard are all beautiful!! Like new accommodations and all very comfortable. All our needs were met!! Very easy access. In town for our daughters wedding. While a hotel may have been closer, the peace and quiet helped reduce the stress of the busy weekend.

My family stayed here so we could invite out extended family over for Christmas Eve. The kitchen is spacious and has many amenities to host a meal. We played games at the nice tables while others watched football and talked. It was a great stay!

When I arrived in Windsor, Butch and Barb made the check-in process easy. The property is nicely landscaped with many fun lawn ornaments and a lovely patio. inside the rental was very clean, well applianced and had all of the supplies that I needed. I would recommend this property to anyone for a pleasant stay.

Had an enjoyable experience with our family. We went to the World Dairy Expo. This property was easy to find, clean, and close to several things to do in Madison. It was 20 minutes from the Expo. The hosts were very accommodating and easy to reach if we needed anything. Very nice kitchen. We were able to cook and enjoy a meal with the family. I would definitely stay here again if we ever come back to Madison.

Three of us stayed for the second year in a row to race Ironman Wisconsin. Kitchen was excellent and we really appreciated all the spices, teas, and coffee the host provided. The property was extremely clean and we very much enjoyed the outdoor patio and grill space.

The house was the perfect place to truly relax and unwind after spending a lot of time in the hospital with my father. We enjoyed playing games around the game table after preparing meals together. Every detail was seek to. If I could give more than 5 stats, I would.

We had a wonderful time at this nicely appointed condo. Spent a month visiting family and friends, after retiring in FL in 2019. Butch and Barb were very approachable and quick to respond if needed. My wife and son recently stayed for four days and had an excellent experience. Communication with the host was very timely and they were more than accommodating. The home is exceptionally clean and the beds and linens were really comfortable! We enjoyed walking around the quiet neighborhood and appreciated how close we were to Madison. Highly recommend!

What a relaxing stay away from home. Clean, organized, lots of essentials for cooking, and cozy. My son and I stayed there and loved it! Barb had games such as Yahtzee, cards, corn hole to keep us occupied in between wrestling camp sessions. Highly recommend and if we are ever in the area again, this is where we are going to stay!

We really enjoyed our stay. Kitchen was well equipped. Light switches were nicely labeled. Bedrooms were quite comfortable. Also enjoyed the game table with our teen granddaughters. Nice to have a good sized dinner table. Definitely 5 stars!!

A spotlessly clean, perfectly furnished two bedroom house. Tv, dining table, game table, patio- lots of space for togetherness or private time. Great as a retreat or close access to Madison. Outdoor activities near by, parking right in front. The kitchen was ready for cooking. All one level, no steps to access. Couldn’t ask for anything more!
