About this house rental
Paradise Found is ideally located at Maggie Valley’s west end, very close to the Blue Ridge Parkway and The Great Smoky Mountain National Park. Sitting on a year round roaring creek amidst towering trees, it is the perfect base for getting away from it all, enjoying the creek, and visiting the many nearby local attractions and activities. Skiing, golf, fishing, hiking and fall foliage are close at hand, as are lots of cute mountain towns and the fabulous city of Asheville. Waynesville is only fifteen minutes away for shopping and groceries, and The Biltmore Estate is just 35 minutes away. Our cabin has two bedrooms and two bathrooms (split bedroom plan) with the master opening up to the deck and creek. We also have a queen sofa bed in the living room. There is a one car garage in the basement for winter shelter, and a huge detached garage that we have converted to a game pavilion with a pool table, foosball, ping-pong, card table and a huge flat screen TV and couch. Just outside the master bedroom is a wonderful brand new hot tub on the deck looking out to the creek, along with a propane grill, rocking chairs and a nice outdoor table. The game pavilion literally doubles the square footage of the cabin and provides plenty of additional activities that you can enjoy without ever leaving the property!
Skiers take note, this is THE PERFECT LOCATION FOR YOU!! Easy year round access and right next to the road going up to skiing. You can’t beat Paradise Found for your winter headquarters too!
Our guests are provided with all paper goods, such as toilet paper and paper towels as well as basic soaps. We also provide firewood. There are no additional fees for approved pets. Garbage pickup is provided at no additional cost.

The house was very clean & comfortable. It is nestled in the woods by a roaring stream! We were greeted by friendly elk each day in front of the house!

We loved everything about this cabin. The location was great, the beds were very comfortbale. The roaring creek off the back deck and Master bedroom was wonderful. We saw a few Elk strollng down the road which was very exciting to me since I love all animals. We will hopefully be staying here again. The cabin is very well stocked with everything you need. Highly recommend.

We enjoyed our peaceful stay at this property. The sound of the creek was so soothing and relaxing. We had a minor glitch (seems a cord was not placed back correctly) with the TV but it was fixed within 30 minutes - such great customer service! Everything was very clean and extremely comfortable. Would definitely look into staying again at this property if we are back in this area. Great communication with the owners.

We had a wonderful 3 night getaway with my family. We loved the location at the base of Cataloochee. My 4 kids enjoyed snowboarding during the day and enjoyed playing in the game room the rest of the time. My older boys really enjoyed playing pool for the first time ever and trying to master their skills at that. This house had just enough space for our family of 6. We hope to be back next year!

Our family of 5 thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The back porch is heavenly. The sounds of the soothing stream were relaxing. The hot tub was perfect! We saw elk and watched them wander and graze through the yard. The setting was simply magical. We got great use out of the game room. Dream spot for teenagers. So many fun family memories made. The neighborhood is lovely, safe and friendly. Ideal for walking our dog. The kitchen was super well stocked. We even made a fire. The home had everything we needed. Generous amenities! Near Blue Ridge Parkway… great views, hikes and waterfalls.

The four adults and a toddler had so much fun at this cabin and we saw some elk three different days. Loved the game room and enjoyed it so much and the back bedroom was perfect for my daughter and son-in-law and grandson who was 17 months old. He loved the enclosed back patio where he could run and play. We brought two dogs total and they enjoyed the cabin so much and it was so very comfortable 💙. We all loved the hot tub and especially my grandson. Thanks again for the most amazing vacation and the weather was just gorgeous 💛

We absolutely love staying at this cabin year after year. It has everything you need and is so clean and cozy. It’s close to all the shops and restaurants. The sound of the creek just off the deck is so peaceful. And the game room was a big hit even for us adults.

Paradise found is definitely the proper name for this place! The only wildlife we saw on property were squirrels and rabbits, but that’s ok. Through Cherokee and the National Park we saw elk, muskrats and turkeys. The house and game room were fantastic! Soco falls was right down the street and beautiful. We also enjoyed sliding rock and coontree picnic area. The beds were a little firm for us but that’s a personal preference that I don’t expect to be perfect. We still slept fine and had an awesome time. Mrs. Alice has this process down to a science, all the info we needed was supplied and we never had to reach out to her for anything. We will be back and I highly recommend this property to everyone!

Cabin by the creek, so relaxing, refreshing, not wanting to leave this place. Will be back next year either in the spring or fall to see the colors. Will keep in touch. Others who view my pictures, probably looking into visiting the place.

The location of the property was great! The house was cozy and had a beautiful roaring creek behind it. The only negative was the cleanliness of the interior of the house. The house needs a through, deep cleaning.

We had a great time! This cabin was perfect for celebrating my 40th birthday. We absolutely loved the game room and the creek. The creek was so beautiful and right off the master bedroom so we could enjoy the sounds from the creek all night. Their cabin was the perfect getaway to relax and spend quality time with the family, including our dogs ❤️ We will definitely be booking again in the future.

Love this cabin! One morning while cooking breakfast we had two sets of 5-6 elk come through the yard. That was awesome to see. Master bed was a little to firm for me but other than that I LOVED this cabin.

Amazing gem with perfect amenities both inside and out. Right on the rapid creek for a peaceful setting. Game room was a plus, along with the hot tube and fireplace. If you are skiing perfect location right at the bottom of the slopes.

This is our 2nd stay. We adjusted our traditional after Christmas wind down trip a week because the property was “taken”. That’s how much we appreciate this location. It has everything we want: room to be comfortable, fireplace, hot tub, creek, mountains, great restaurants close by, and accepts our small dog.

We loved the cabin. Yes is a little dated but that’s part of its charm. From the roaring stream you can hear in the 2nd bedroom and primary bedroom, to the hot tub, fireplace, game room and a fully furnished kitchen. It has everything you need.
We saw elk walk past the kitchen window the first day we were there . The cabin is in a nice, quiet neighborhood. Close to lots of attractions.

My husband and I could not be have been happier with the Paradise Found cabin. The layout of the cabin was warm and inviting. The furniture and beds were comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked with utensils and appliances. Wish we could have used the hot tub, but the weather over Thanksgiving week was very cold. Maybe next time. Thanks Alice for such a wonderful cabin in Maggie Valley.

Lovely stay in the Smokies
Paradise Found, indeed!! This charming property was the perfect home away from home for my family of 4. The game room, the hot tub, and the creek was all the entertainment my active boys needed! Maggie Valley was such a sweet town and offered a lot to do. Also closely located to the National Park, we could have stayed another week. Thank you for making us feel so comfortable while we were on vacation. We can't wait to visit again!

Beautiful property in Maggy valley and Alice was an amazing host. We loved the BOLD rushing creek which played in the background all day and night. THe cabin layout is very comfortable and the bonus game room has every thing you could imagine. We did not use the hot tub as the humidity was high for June but we look forward to experiencing that in the fall!
