From pictures I wrongly assumed the condo had some side facing the river. Instead it faced the road and parking lot. I also wrongly assumed the layout of place and wasn’t prepared for three flights of stairs to get to showers-which we’re both on 3rd floor. Unfortunately there were some maintenance issues that hadn’t gotten resolved by our arrival. However the kids enjoyed the not quite working hot tub and we got our exercise. Most appreciated the washer/dryer. Communication with owner was good it was just unfortunate that, like most places, maintenance /repair people are overworked and extremely rare. Overall we enjoyed our visit to Helen

Our vrbo townhouse on Edelweiss Strasse was excellent. 3 floors with bedrooms on floors 1 and 3 and a great common area on the second floor. The owner Mike was great with contact. If we sent a q The townhouse is located in a great area right on the river and we could walk to almost all the great question we got a reply very quickly.

We had a fantastic time, the home was perfect. Very spacious, never cramped, but felt very cozy and homey. It’s even better than the pictures. Super convenient, and great communication with the host. Loved visiting Helen, and would definitely stay here again!

We did enjoy the townhouse - wish there was a bathroom (or at least a toliet) downstairs. From the picture on VRBO I thought we would be on the river but we weren't. The "short" walk to downtown Helen is a lot longer than we thought. Over all it was good.

Condo was clean , well kept- hot tub was enjoyable after a fun day. Just beware hot tub is difficult to get into, there really needs to be some sort of stool to enter it. Also, would not advise condo for people who have difficulty climbing stairs, as there are three levels. But , great for those who like a little space between bedrooms and main floor. En-suite in upper two bedrooms was nice surprise.
Would definitely consider renting again !

My family had a great time in Helen...and we were next door to Helen tubing! We were in town and didn't have to worry about being stuck in traffic. Great shops, food, and fun tubing! Mike was responsive and helpful and the place was clean and very comfortable. We will have to come back and try the jacuzzi--we ran out of time.

The property was clean and in a good location. We were able to walk where we needed to instead of getting stuck in traffic which was moving slower than our walking even with 3 small children. Would definitely stay here again.

We visited Helen for a winter girls trip. 4 adults, 5 teens and this home was perfect for us. Great location! Hot tub was our favorite. Easy Checkin and we had everything we needed. Will absolute stay here again!!!

We had a great time staying here. It was the perfect space for our extended family of 6. We could easily walk to everything in Helen and that let us avoid the traffic in town. The kitchen had everything we needed and the kids loved the hot tub on the screened in porch. We would definitely stay here again!

We had a wonderful time. Property/ great location. 2 min from center of town. Plenty of amenities but you will need to bring your own paper towels and toilet paper depending on length of stay...not enough supplied for a 4 day/4 person stay. Hot tub was cold and had a brown film around the top of the water / the homeowner had his guy take care of it asap. But by the time it took to reheat the water we didn't get to take advantage of it. Plus, there aren't any steps to get up in the hot tub. Just minor things that would have made our stay much better. Unit does need a lil TLC but I would stay here again. 💜 11/9-13/22

We had a great time, we put the kids in the lower bedroom and all 4 adults upstairs. They had their own space to relax and play games. Located next to the tubing just walked over and paid and sent the kids out to tubing, were able to watch from the house to see them return. Not good for seniors with mobility issues, but we made it work just fine. good space for all.

Mike’s house is in a great location near the tubing companies and town. You can walk into town easily. The house is 3 levels and has plenty of beds; and we loved the decor. There’s a hot tub on the screened in porch on the bottom level. There are several balcony’s, one with a gas grill. It was in a quiet area with easy access to everything. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again!

Have been to Helen many times and the location of this place was perfect. The kids were able to get off their tubes and have a fishing pole in hand within 5 minutes.

Great Location
This is located very close to everything you need while in Helen. You can’t see the River from this rental but you are right by it. The owner was very quick to respond and helpful when we couldn’t get the hot tub working properly. Hot tub was very nice and enjoyable! Property was nice and welcoming. The only down side was the beds were very uncomfortable especially the bottom bunk of the bunk beds but would be fine for children. Overall, a very nice property!

Great stay!
We enjoyed staying here on our recent trip to Helen, it was very nice being downtown, especially since it snowed. It’s a convenient location and we personally enjoyed that it was freestanding unit. The main bathrooms with showers/tubs are on the third floor, not an issue for us, but I know it might be for some. We enjoyed relaxing with the hot tub, fireplace and tv after playing out in the cold. The host was easy to work with and of upmost importance to me it was very clean. There were 7 of us, 3 adults and 4 children 6-14, and I would say we had plenty of room. We would certainly stay again.

Comfortable and roomy
The property was ads described and was plenty roomy for our family of six. Check in was super easy. When we arrived the hot water was not working and Mike helped us promptly. The bedroom configurations were excellent and enabled everyone to have their own space. Everything was in working order, as described. The beds were comfortable, as was the living room furniture. There were plenty of options/ channels for television viewing. The only thing I would note is that there were no toiletries outside of toilet paper, a roll of paper towels hand soaps and enough dishwasher pods for us to run it once per day. There were also no condiments or coffee filters for the coffee maker, or anything other than salt and pepper... and no scissors that we could find. We could also have done with a few extra blankets. Nowhere does the listing indicate that there would be any such things; however, this is the only VRBO I have ever stayed in that did not have a little more in the way of these things, especially coffee filters. This is just something to be aware of. The location was great and for the price, we cannot complain at all. Overall, a very pleasant stay.

Awesome trip
Great location. Easy to walk around and so close to town. The downtown is such a cool place and they have such awesome restaurants. The mountain coaster is a great ride for everyone in the family too!
If you want a cool Christmas trip, Helen is definitely the place to go!

We loved where the townhouse was located. We could easily walk to restaurants and other activities. The river was just around the corner of one of the other groups of homes in the complex. This town house gave lots of room for our party of 5. We could all get together in the living room and had plenty of room but when if we wanted to have peace and quiet there was enough room for that as well. Mike, the host was easy to contact with any questions we had and he got right back with us with answers. The hot tub was Great! We would love to stay here again. Thank you Mike and Janice for sharing your home with us!

Property was much better than the pictures depicted. Picture on site is not the actual property and should be updated. The actual house is very charming. We loved the location and views from the balconies.

Good Stay
Myself and my buddies stayed at this location and had a good time. The property is about .7 miles from the main part of Helen with the shops and restaurants but there are some closer. There is no river frontage but the river is just right around the building the porch faces. Mike was a good host and we had no complaints.

It was a fun long weekend with good friends. It’s located close enough to walk to the events but far enough you are not in the late night hour noises. It is a comfortable place tho spend time with friends and visit

Great property!
The property was very spacious for our family of 4. The kids loved having their own room on the first floor. It is an easy walk to downtown Helen. Loved all the decks to enjoy the lovely weather on. The hot tub was awesome after a day of hiking and walking in town. We would definitely stay here again.
