JoLynn is a great host!! You are only a couple of minutes to Roosevelt Arch. About 5 miles to Mammoth Hot Springs, the park headquarters are there. The home was especially clean, all the dishes and utensils you need. Wildlife (elk and deer) are in the yard often. 2 blocks to the grocery and post office. We would stay there again!

We stayed at 3 Lazy H Yellowstone Lodging for 5 nights and the accommodations and the town of Gardiner did not disappoint! The property was perfect for our family of 5. Very spacious and clean and had everything we needed for our day trips into Yellowstone including coolers and bear spray. JoLynn was very helpful and responded quickly to any and all of our questions. We enjoyed the town of Gardiner it had everything we needed from restaurants to gift shops to rafting on the Yellowstone River but was also quiet and peaceful. Highly recommend.

The property is VERY clean and conveniently located just about 5 minutes from the entrance to Yellowstone park. It is a great base if you plan a family trip to Yellowstone park.
Kitchen had everything we needed. Communication with the owners was easy, as they live on the second floor of the same house.
You get your separate entrance and a big parking spot right next to it.
The only thing we did not find was a recycling bin.
Overall, very good experience and we would stay at this property again.

We had an amazing time at the 3Lazy H. It was clean comfortable and relaxing. A great location to enjoy Yellowstone. JoLynn was such a wonderful host and we couldn’t have asked for better communication. We especially loved the brownies that greeted us at the door and the Elk in the yard. We would highly recommend and hope to be back soon.

What a beautiful home base for us in Gardiner. The home was stocked with everything you could possibly need…. With plenty of room to spread out! This adorable basement unit was spotless and roomy! My 6’6” husband never felt cramped. Nice quiet location! And… kids loved that they got to see the Elk peering into our windows in the morning! Would absolutely rerun to stay here again! Thank you!

The rental was perfect for our trip with 5th and 7th grade grandchildren. The rental is walking distance to everything in Gardiner and the grocery store is especially convenient. The entire unit is very comfortable and the kitchen is especially nice. The boys actually requested to eat at the rental instead of eating out.

We had a great time staying at 3 Lazy H. It was a great launch point for our daily trips into Yellowstone. The home was clean and very well stocked. The owner had even made us a dessert for when we arrived. She answered my questions ahead of the trip very promptly, and quickly resolved one minor issue during our stay. I strongly recommend staying here.

JoLynn's house was a clean, roomy, comfortable, and perfectly located home-away-from-home for our family's visit to the Yellowstone area. It included all the basic amenities you would need. The hosts' hospitality made our stay extra special - from the brownies that welcomed us upon check-in and the elk meat they offered us to try, to the fishing rods that they let us borrow. JoLynn even helped us find a local gym option before our trip. I would highly recommend this rental for anyone staying in the Gardiner area.

This is by far the nicest place we have stayed. The house was clean, spacious, newly updated, and we had a family of elk that visited us daily. Hosts were personable and friendly. The host had warm brownies and a kind note welcoming us! We would love to come back again!

This lovely home was a perfect fit for our group of 6. Location in Gardner was great for quick entry to Yellowstone. We spent 3 days exploring, hiking and wildlife viewing. Restaurants and grocery store were nearby. Well stocked with essentials.

This was a great place to stay, minutes from the Yellowstone gate. Spacious inside with full kitchen and bbq grill outside. Much better than staying in a small cabin or hotel, like having a home to come back to every night.

We stayed in Gardiner for 3 nights. The property was very clean and just as pictured. The beds were extremely comfortable and the house had everything we needed for our stay……the fresh brownies were a wonderful personal touch! Jolynn was an amazing host and super fast in responding to any questions we had about the area. I would most definitely recommend staying here if you’re looking for a place to stay while in the area.

The home was immaculate, comfortable, well stocked and a great location to the North Yellowstone entrance. We even had wildlife in the yard. Highly recommend.

Anyone wanting a first class VRBO to call home on a Yellowstone trip should chose this property. Everything about it, including the hosts, was beyond our expectations.

Our stay was FANTASTIC! The home is very comfortable and expansive. Everything is well thought out with “extras” so as a traveler you don’t have to worry. Great location to walk to shops and grocery. Also, super close to the North entrance of Yellowstone Park. We visited in July with unprecedented heat in the 90’s everyday and our stay was very comfortable. The gas grill and well appointed kitchen was a plus. If you are planning a trip to Yellowstone this is a GREAT home with a superb location. And, the nicest hosts.
5.0
Spacious! Clean! Quiet! Close to restaurants, grocery store and Yellowstone North Entrance. Plenty of space for our family of 6! Hope to return someday! We were fortunate to meet Jolynn and her husband and were able to personally thank them for the brownies that awaited us when we arrived.

Overall we were extremely happy with our experience! It was a great size for our family of 5, we have three kids 11-17. Bedrooms are huge and very comfy. Nice kitchen dining area, and the host even took the time to bake brownies! Very nice touch. Great communication and responded very quickly to any questions we had.
The hallway is very long and we had a hard time keeping our two younger ones from sprinting back and forth! Extra energy to burn off from long day trips I guess! Hope we didn’t make too much noise as the hosts are in the upper level.
Gardiner is a neat little mountain town, everything is within walking distance, local market, shops, restaurants. Would definitely recommend this place and we may come back again!
Thanks again to the hosts for a memorable stay!

Great location, clean property. Perfect access to the north entrance of Yellowstone!

Where do I start? Excellent hosts… truly excellent. The property was extremely convenient for entering the North Gate to Yellowstone. We had no concerns at all with the property, it’s a beautiful place to stay. There aren’t a lot of restaurants in this area, which was not a big deal because the Gardiner market is right around the corner, and is a good little place to buy food. We mostly just cooked our own meals.
As a town, Gardiner is one of the friendliest towns I’ever stayed in. It’s small, but that was exactly what we wanted. Everything is within walking distance, and I’d almost guarantee you’ll see wildlife in town. We were regularly greeted by elk in the yard.
This was one of the coolest stays we’ve experienced, made even better by attentive, friendly hosts. Can’t complain a bit, and when we make it back this way, we will stay here again.

Everything is perfect; from the location, to the tiny shoppes in town, the friendliness of the hosts, decor of the home, quick hot water, quick response to our questions/concerns, wildlife in the yard, how the window wells allow so much light into the house (and the way they are decorated) and of course, Yellowstone! I only wish the home wasn't half the country away. I will highly recommend 3 Lazy H to everyone I know traveling to the USA's first National Park.

Clean, quiet, nicely done. We could not have asked for more. JoLynn went far beyond what we could have expected!! She helped us in every way possible when we had a flight delay.
Stay here, you will not be disappointed.

We loved our stay at the 3 Lazy H! We were immediately greeted with fresh brownies and popcorn for treats. What a wonderful surprise!! The house is very spacious and had everything we needed to feel comfortable during our stay. I heard no complaints about the beds and I got good sleep (which is rare for me in my own bed) so I call that a huge win. Every morning we saw our elk friend (or at least we think it was an elk) and her baby in the front yard. What a great treat that was for these city folk. JoLynn was very responsive and recommended a wonderful restaurant for Father's Day that turned out to be just perfect. I would definitely stay here again and will be recommending it to others.

We absolutely loved our stay. We had a family group of 8 with ages ranging 7-65. This unit had plenty of room for us all to hang out and to have privacy when needed. 3 queen rooms and living room with futon and couch worked perfectly for our group composition. The unit is actually in the recently remodeled basement of the owner’s house. It has 2 dedicated parking spots immediately outside its own private entrance. Inside, there is a spacious kitchen with new appliances and plenty of room to eat.
Location is great. Grocery store and some dining options are walkable. Downtown Gardiner is a 2-3 minute drive and has dining and shopping options. The Roosevelt Arch and north entrance to Yellowstone are just a block or two beyond that.
The owners were readily available to share knowledge about the area or their experiences living in the area. They have stocked the unit with many things that you might need during your stay (including bear spray, umbrellas, coolers). They even let us borrow some of their camping chairs so we could do a random picnic in the park.
We enjoyed the patio furniture and the occasional visit from elk just feet away. We feel very lucky to have this found this unit available for our stay. It was perfect.

Fantastic! Highly recommend
From the beginning, JoLynn was quick to respond to my questions and very helpful! We were arriving to her house after a stay in Victor Montana to visit Grand Teton National park. She let us know when the house was ready on the day of our arrival, she had home made brownies waiting for us, she provided 2 extra cans of bear spray because there were 4 people in our party, she has coolers for her guests to use while touring the park, and she provided umbrellas. The house was immaculate upon our arrival. The kitchen and living room area is open, so we could all stay in touch while preparing meals. The bedrooms are down a hallway, so if one of us needed quiet time it was easy to get away from the crowd. The beds were comfortable. And something that other rentals we’ve stayed at lacked- there were plenty of places to hang bath towels to dry. Plus there were coat hooks right by the door, also something other places have lacked. Simple things, but they make a huge difference.
We arrived at JoLynn’s house on Sunday June 12. We drove north through Yellowstone coming from the Tetons, in the rain. We had a wildlife tour scheduled for Monday morning with a 5 am pick up. It was canceled at 4 am because of flooding in the park-our first clue that something was wrong. The road way from Gardiner into the park was washed away, in several places, and the only other road out of Gardiner, to the north was flooded and the bridge was damaged. There was no way out of Gardiner. JoLynn and her husband Patrick kept us informed of the situation with reliable information. Once a detour heading north was made around the damaged bridge almost all of the tourists left Gardiner. We were torn as to what to do. JoLynn and Patrick said we were welcome to stay. We had already bought food to last us until Friday, and we had a safe place to stay. We stayed, and walked all over Gardiner. We saw elk and mule deer in our yard and around town every day. We could not visit Yellowstone, but we made the best of our time in Gardiner. Once Yellowstone is healed and repaired we will go back, and we’ll stay in JoLynn and Patrick’s rental property again!

Amazing vacation getaway
I really wish that I could give JoLynn more than a 5. This was exactly what I needed in a vacation. My entire family enjoyed everything about the place and having "pets" in the yard certainly made things even more special. Great location to get to everything on foot if necessary. Nothing better than waking up to the mountain each morning.

Amazing!
Where to even begin? Everything we could have needed and wanted to make our stay as perfect as possible was taken care of. From the delicious brownies greeting us upon our arrival, to the clean home, plush towels, super comfy beds, everything we could ever need to cook when we wanted to, the elk outside the house day and night, the wonderful patio outside to sit and read, the close entrance to Yellowstone...the list really goes on and on. When needed, JoLynn responded immediately. Such a treasure of a home to relax in at the end of a busy day exploring Yellowstone National Park.
