About this house rental

Port Hughes is a seaside town only 2 hours drive from Adelaide. The jetty, boat ramp, beach, tavern, golf course & general store is a 5 minute walk. Great fishing with your own boat or there are many fishing charters available, or catch your own tea from the jetty. The white sandy beaches provide safe swimming and snorkling, you can also enjoy long walks and watch the sunset. The general store has all your basic supplies, take away food, post office, bait, ice etc. There is a tavern next door that provides fantastic views whilst serving great food and beverages. The nearby town of Moonta offers hotels, crafts, antiques, restaurants, service station and shopping. Explore the Moonta Mines, or take a drive to nearby Kadina or Wallaroo. Maybe you would prefer to just relax and enjoy the comforts of what the cottage provides.

Property

Navigator's Cottage has 3 good sized bedrooms, one with Queen bed, the other two have 2 x double bunks and a Tri bunk (q/s and a single) Blankets and pillows supplied with all beds. Need to bring own linen, towels etc. Large fully equipped eat-in kitchen. Large loungeroom with TV, DVD player and stereo.Large bathroom, separate shower and full size bath,with vanity unit. Separate toilet and a large laundry with automatic washing machine. Own private enclosed pergola area with gas barbeque.

This cottage is set amongst tranquil gardens so it is very private if you wish to get away from everything with a good book and bottle of red.

Great for fishing trips or large group of people who enjoy holidaying together by combining the Seafarer's cottage with the Navigator's cottage, which can accomodate up to 16 people. Both cottages are on the one property.

very well stocked kitchen, toaster, pots and pans etc its all there, property smelt fresh and clean. beds very comfortable, within walking distance to beach and Tavern or quick drive to shops for supplies. quiet area. lovely front garden and shadehouse off to the side. did find it a little worrying that to lock and unlock doors from inside at night required the use of house keys, felt this could be a safety issue. lovely big fridge and freezer.

Cottage was cozy, had everything we needed. Enclosed area was just right for our 2 small dogs. Short walk to jetty and local shops, amazing. We really enjoyed our stay. Great communication from host. Thanks Julia.

A comment about the process. At least twice i could not access Stayz information about the property. Some kind of computer hitch. The property and host were great, the process at times frustrating.

The place is so homely , someone had stolen a gas bottle and I made contact with the owner and it was replaced within the hour . It has all the cooking stuff you could need for basic cooking. Beds were comfy, heating was excellent. Beach is close, town is close. I will 1000% be using this place instead of the caravan park from now on. Even though my parents live in town , we prefer to get a shack so we can come and go as we please without disrupting them

We had a lovely 2 night stay. Cooking facilities for a large group were fantastic. Sleeping arrangement for multiple couples aren't the best but absolutely perfect for two families!! This is the perfect place to spend the days at the beach and then relaxing in the evening! Definately will reccommended in the future.
