This house is conveniently located between Stratton and Mount Snow. There’s also a good convenience store under 5 minutes away, which we really appreciated with the wait times for a table at restaurants! The beds were comfortable, kitchen was well stocked, shower pressure was wonderful, and views from the windows were beautiful. The hosts were very responsive and helpful. Our family group, ranging from our six year old youngest child, to teen, to grandma, all enjoyed the stay. Couldn’t ask for more, and would love to return!

This is an ideal spot for those looking to spend time with family and friends, just relaxing and enjoying each other's company! The deck and fire pit were favorite places to hang out. We weren't within walking distance to much of anything, but it wasn't too far by car from a few things to do.

A couple of issues but Pat was quick to respond to.

It was a nice experience staying at this place. Our questions were answered very timely. It is only 10 min to skiing resort, the road is easy to drive in the winter season.

Roomy with a beautiful master and 2 other bedrooms. Completely stocked with everything possible, including washer/dryer, dishwasher, gas grill, campfire and Adirondack chairs, plus pet friendly.

Everything was great, just the kind of getaway we were looking for, a little hiking, swimming, golfing and eating ... Pat and Marco were in touch every step of the way with great suggestions and recommendations.

This place was exactly what we needed. A short ride to Grout Pond and the local ski resorts, and a cozy spot to rest our bones. Our second time staying here, and hopefully not our last. Thanks again!

We had a lovely stay at this cozy chalet. It was very convenient to go to both Mount Snow and Stratton. The kitchen was nicely stocked with utensils and we brought ingredients to make dinner. Bedrooms were warm and clean. We forgot a set of headphones, but I contacted Pat and then the caretaker kindly mailed them to us! Thank you again!

We had a great time at the cabin this past weekend. We ski at Stratton and access to Sun Bowl lodge was 10 minutes away, very easy to/from. There is a small store just down the street for odds and ends if needed, otherwise you're best bet is to bring things with you. The cabin has a great wood burning stove in the living room, a cozy couch and recliner, and a large kitchen table. The kitchen was very clean and easy to use, all the appliances worked great, we cooked each night we were there and had a great time sitting by the fire playing cards and catching a game on the TV (direct TV service was great). The one fire did an amazing job heating the upstairs of the cabin and then temperature controlled thermostat for overnight heating was a little hard to control, it was a bit too hot in the bedroom downstairs causing some on/off hot/cold situations that we could not find the right balance. Overall a very minor issue. Bed was comfortable and bathroom was very clean and water was hot!! huge benefit to have a washer and dryer for ski equipment each night. we got three full days of skiing in over the holiday weekend. The owners were very responsive on any questions and details needed, and we loved all the notes throughout the cabin :). We loved our weekend at the cabin and will absolutely come back in the future!

We really enjoyed our time at the chalet. It was very well stocked with every conceivable appliance and cooking utensil. It was clean and obviously well cared for and very comfortable. The owners and the property caretaker were very helpful and communication was outstanding. I will definitely recommend it to friends and family and will certainly consider staying there again.

My family's stay was absolutely a memorable experience for all of us. The chalet is situated in a fairly secluded road but accessible to the main roads (VT 100). This was very useful since we traveled to different towns to visit and enjoy the state parks. After our travels, all the amenities in the home made us feel right at home plus more. If our stay was longer, the kitchen/dining area and washer/dryer would definitely come very handy. We mostly dined in but there are different small restuarants in the area that looked very appetizing from the reviews I read. I recommend Dot's Diner for a nice breakfast/lunch/or brunch. Overall, this is a perfect chalet for a nice getaway to the beautiful VT mountain region for a small family, couple, or small group. Pat responded very quickly and she provided us with all the necessary info. to reach out if we had any issues (which turned out no issues at all!) Thanks!!!

This cabin in the woods had everything we needed for our family of five; plenty of sleeping space, laundry, great deck, fully equipped kitchen, and ample seating in both the kitchen and living room. Our days were spent at nearby attractions (Bromley, Wardsboro parade, family reunion), and this was a great spot to return to for recharging our batteries for the next day's adventures. We will certainly rent this house again. Keep in mind that it's a cabin, not the Ritz Carlton. It was cozy, comfortable, and exactly what we needed for our five day trip this summer. Coming back from a day of skiing to the Pat and Marco's chalet in the woods was a treat. The description of the chalet was accurate. It's small and rustic but cozy. Sitting in the rocker looking out the sliding glass windows at the snow covered porch and trees was very relaxing. It was easy working with Pat to organize the trip. There is free wifi, but it works better on a computer than a phone. No cell phone service (texting worked upstairs, but not downstairs), but this was a retreat from the world, so didn't miss it (and if I need to make a call, I did it before leaving Stratton Mountain). For a great dinner, try Dover Forge, about 5 miles down Rt 100 in Dover.

I can't say enough good things about Pat and Marco's West Wardsboro chalet! The chalet was located on a quiet cul-de-sac close enough to Rt 100 to have easy access to West Dover, Wilmington, Brattleboro, Manchester, ect. but not so close that we had any road noise whatsoever. The chalet is rustic. Located in the woods, it was a perfect place to hang our hammock and listen to the wind through the trees and relax. The second floor deck with grill was another great place to relax and read a book or make something yummy for dinner. We visited in the summer so we didn't really have a need for the wood stove, but we did notice that there was plenty of wood already chopped and waiting. A huge dining table let the two of us use one end for eating and the other to set up laptops, etc to upload the gorgeous pictures we got while hiking in the area. If you are coming with a larger group, it would be perfect for dining all together. There were lots of beds to choose from and a nice sized bathroom as well. Washer and dryer made it possible for us to return home after a weeks stay with a only a couple of things to put in the laundry. The wifi and dish tv both worked great and the sofa and rocking chairs were very comfortable spots to kick back after a day exploring. The owners also put a nice little fire pit in in the back yard, which was great for smores in the evening. We typically don't bring our dogs with us when we travel. They are fussy, they don't travel well, and usually not comfortable wherever we end up staying. But we decided we would bring them with us for this trip. They are still terrible travelers but, they loved this chalet. They settled in immediately and loved the place! Pat and Marco provided excellent customer service, especially in the communication department. Pat was quick to answer any questions and help in any way that she could. We will be making our annual trip back to the Dover area next year and we will be booking this chalet! We can't wait to come back!!
