About this cottage rental

This quaint cottage is located "on the beach" - 3007 Avenue F Unit 4 at 30th Street on beautiful Holmes Beach. It is the upstairs unit (1 of 2) with a private deck and direct Gulf views. The cottage is very comfortable and sleeps 4 with plenty of space. The cottage is hidden away on a dead end street away from it all, yet close to shopping and restaurants.

The unit has a large shower, fully equipped kitchen and a washer/dryer. The grounds are filled with exotic, tropical plants and a private guest path to the beautiful blue water and white sand beaches of Anna Maria Island.

There is a free trolley that picks up throughout the day and evening located just one block away. The unit is centrally located between Bradenton Beach and Anna Maria where there are also several shopping areas and many restaurants. St. Armand's Circle, Robinson Preserve, Bradenton's Riverwalk, DeSoto National Park and Ringling Museum all make for great local day trips!

Join us at Holmes Beach for the most beautiful sunsets and experience the tradition of Old Florida.

These are older, charming units built in the 50's that we continually update. Housekeepers clean at the beginning and end of each guest stay.

Can't beat the gulf views and the sunsets....

Location and view! Clean, old Florida charm. Several beach chairs, one umbrella, wagon, pool noodles and cooler available for use for 2 units. Exactly as the photos showed, no surprises. Washer/dryer in unit, we came with only a backpack. I had several questions that host answered promptly. We would definitely stay here again.

A little gem by the ocean. Perfect for families. A lovely location within walking distance to everything and a free trolley for the family to take a tour of all the special places on the island!!!

Staying on the beach is always the best! This cottage represents the island vibe we love most. Traditional house that doesn’t take up a huge footprint, and just feels like an authentic beach cottage. Bed was comfy, adequate supplies, perfect for two. I believe we had a cleaning person shortage on our check-in day (according to the owner) so we found the cottage needing some of own cleaning attention. I am hopeful most guests would feel confident on any other day to rate the cleanliness 5 stars.

You cannot beat this location; perfect sunset on your deck! Unit had everything we needed; a little small, but was super clean. Shower water pressure was pretty low. Would definitely stay here again!!

Overall it was a great trip and location. While we had no issues, it could use some updating. It was a little cramped for 5 people for sleeping arrangements. We realized we need to look for a bigger place next time. However, I can't say enough how great the area and location was! Host was very communicative and assisted with every question.

We had a great stay here. The location was ideal for us, on the edge of the beach. Close to the trolley and Publix only a few minutes walk. Communications were prompt and helpful. The unit had character and we loved the deck which gave a view of the beach and the sunsets over the gulf. We hope to return again next year.

I have stayed at this place 3 years in a row! It is very clean and easy access to the beach! Great view from the deck of the beach! Property manager very nice and helpful! Would stay again!

Clean throughout, nice partial beach view from balcony, easy beach access. If we could ignore the ugly response from the owner to a door locking problem the trip would have called for 5 stars all the way. In brief, we had initial trouble unlocking the door upon arrival, but finally got in. The code lock was loosely mounted and, apparently, the signal was weak. When attempting to lock the door to go out the first time it would not work. A light should show up on the key pad and an "unlock" or "lock" sound should be heard. The guest manual stated "text me for any issues" or similar words, so we did just that. The response was a GIF of a cartoon guy shrugging. Not only unhelpful, but arrogantly obnoxious, as was his subsequent ignoring of phone calls and texts requesting assistance that first day. During the entire nine day stay we had no follow up from any owner or representative. Consequently, despite having an overall pleasant time at the property we would not return. VRBO: take note.....your operation has the ability to either condemn this type of guest treatment, or remove the listing.

The view and location of this property was the absolute BEST. You can see the most beautiful sunsets from your very window and when you wake up in the morning you can see the most beautiful views of the gulf and dolphins. And it’s within close proximity to everything you would want to be near. It’s also peaceful and quiet…… however, we never got any good rest nor sleep because of the awful mattress(es) and it needs some updating inside. When you go on vacation you need to be able to rest and sleep ,which is more important than any of the above positives I mentioned.

The property was very clean upon arrival and the unit is in the perfect location! Every day sitting on the beach looking to our far left and right were crowds but where we were was much calmer! Raquel was so helpful and friendly with everything we needed. The unit has everything you need for the beach as well. Parking is very tight. Other than that, we absolutely loved our stay!

We absolutely loved this beautiful beach cottage! It gave us a complete beachy feel it was spotless, very well-maintained, and the caretakers were awesome with a request to fix the front porch light which they did immediately. Even though it was over a Mother’s Day holiday. Would love to come here again, thank you for such a wonderful, beautiful experience!

Property was well represented by the listing. Older Florida unit that was clean and in good condition. The property had newer flooring and furniture in the main living area. The beds we’re comfortable. Linens were also in good shape. The local property manager was excellent and always helpful. Will be staying again.

Conviniant beachfront property. Close to supermarket and restaurant. Quiet clean and smooth calm beach. Property was a little outdated. Old worn couch and ottoman chair could use replacement, barbeque only worked on one side. Overall it was a nice quiet place to stay for weeklong rest at a great beach.

Absolutely love the location! Beautiful view from living room and wonderful deck. Steps from the beach, which is like the Caribbean! Hosts were very attentive and go above and beyond to make your stay amazing. Close to shops, grocery and a wonderful seafood market.

I stayed in the upstairs unit with my sister, brother and his wife. It's a cute little beachy cottage with nice view of the gulf. Nothing fancy but it was clean and comfortable. The manager lives on the property and was very accommodating. We'll be back!

Although the property was very nice and the location on the beach was great, Anna Maria Island was very crowded and the traffic was bad all the time. You could never get into a restaurant when you wanted and it took forever to get anywhere. We won't be back. We remember this island to be quiet and lovely. Now the word has gotten out and it has gotten overcrowed and overpriced.
