26 42nd Avenue is a gorgeous 6 bedroom 6 and a half bath home on the Isle of Palms complete with elevator and large pool. Located about four blocks from the ocean this home is a short five to ten minute walk to the beautiful white sand beaches. The home also has a beautiful backyard complete with a deck, pool and gas grill. The garage also has a golf cart and wagon with beach toys for your use during your stay. (3,840 Square Ft)

Beautifully Furnished, 3 Living Room Areas one on each floor. BOTTOM LEVEL: Large garage under the home with a shower and access to the back deck and pool.

MAIN FLOOR: Features two bedrooms and two and a half bathrooms. Guestroom one has a queen size bed and private bath. Master Bedroom has a king size bed and a private bath. This floor also has a large kitchen with granite counter tops and a cook's kitchen with a gas stove top and stainless steel appliances. A separate dining area and spacious sitting room. Main living area also includes Cable TV.

SECOND FLOOR: The second floor features a sitting area with a flat screen tv and two additional guestrooms. Guestroom 2 features a queen size bed and a private bath. Guestroom 3 features two twin beds and a private bath.

THIRD FLOOR: The third floor features a sitting area with a table and chairs and a flat screen tv with a futon and two additional guestrooms. Guestroom 4 features a queen size bed and a private bath. Guestroom 5 features two twin beds and private bath.

*Each home includes free parking, initial supply of linens and towels, washer and dryer, color cable TV, air conditioning, starter supply of paper products and detergents, fully equipped kitchen with dinnerware, flatware, pots and pans, plus local telephone service. There is a wheelchair accessible beach access on 42nd street. The home does have an elevator as an added amenity with service from garage level to second floor, but is not ADA compliant.

Nothing mentioned that the elevator did not go to the 3rd floor. We could not call the elevator to a floor other than where it was located. Other than that the house was beautiful and well equipped for six adults.

This location is absolutely perfect! Just a 2 block walk to the beach (or even shorter golf cart drive). The house itself was just perfect! We were a group of 7 adults on a cousins vacation. Each room had it's own bathroom, which we all very much appreciated. The house was beautiful, spacious, clean and we thoroughly enjoyed cooking together in the immaculate kitchen. Ease of checkin and checkout, proximity to Charleston (15-20 minute drive) for extra entertainment, and private pool all made this property the perfect choice for our family.

This property was perfect for our family weekend getaway! The pool was great and the size of the house was nice for everyone to get their quiet time to themselves if needed. Would definitely book this location again.

We enjoyed the house, it was well suited for our group of 12. The only downside at the end of the day was the noise ordinance in place on the island (was Tua Lily silence from 10:00 pm to 10:00 am) was a little bit of a bummer. With small kids, our neighbors behind us were quick to call the police as we enjoyed the pool (yes, they actually called the police, who arrived around 5:00 pm and agreed with me that we were not being loud), but this presence of the neighbor was just a weight. The first morning there our kids were just playing in the driveway and the man came over and yelled at them (two six-year olds, mind you) and one of the adults out there with them said they weren’t being loud, just talking and playing. We stayed indoors or had to leave the house early to avoid them, and never saw them out in the mornings on their deck when we were going in and out, she ONLY came out to sit in her pool while we were in ours. It’s like she was looking for a reason to call the police again. The police apologized to us and explained to me that this was certainly not the first time they’d called and they were hoping the ordinance would change. Just wish that was more prominent in the description of the rental.

This house suited our group (aged 5-87) well. We appreciated the well-stocked and labeled drawers in the kitchen. That was a first & appreciated! Having an elevator and golf cart was super-helpful. Plentiful floaties and beach toys made for endless fun. Nice open floor plan on bottom floor. While there’s not much shade over the pool, it was very nice to have one on site. More reasonably price than some other houses in the neighborhood. Would book again.

My mother has a hard time moving around so the elevator and golf cart made for a very enjoyable week. The pool was great for the kids. There available beach toys and chairs were very nice. The kitchen was nicely equipped - even had a stock of 'left-over' containers. Overall a great family vacation.

We lacked for nothing in our Isle of Palms "home". Everyone really enjoyed the pool. The kitchen and dining room were large and well equipped. It was a fun week.
