Location was very quiet and perfect for boating, exploring the island, key deer watching and steps away from good food and fun. The locals we met were very nice and friendly. The dock setup was perfect for my 22 ft boat. I would recommend this property. The owners were very quick in responding to me prior to our stay and very helpful to my questions.

This was our second time at this home. Enjoyed our stay. Nice new walkway on the canal. New boilers in the water that kept the weeds out. Short ride to the gulf in our boat. Fishing wasn’t very good this year.. Had issues with the cable tv but owners got right on it. . Crock pot did not work. Wish they had bikes and lounge chairs for outside. Weather was great. Would rent again.

This place was OK the location was nice the Internet sucks the TV really sucks they didn’t even have a smart TV also no TVs in the bedroom people go on vacation and they like to kick back watch a little TV and it showed TVs in the bedroom before so you couldn’t get Netflix or anything there’s no outside furniture no lights underneath the house and everything there it’s pretty beat up The dock and deck are rotten I fell through.the dock the decks falling off the house I actually left one week early because of my leg from falling through the dock. It was convenient and it was quiet. I have for VRBO’s myself and I know there’s a lot of upkeep in this place just wasn’t kept up and it wasn’t clean.

We enjoyed our stay here but did not get to do much because of Covid -19restrictions. . but we did bring our boat , so that helped for entertainment .The deck was super nice to sit up high above and watch the Key Deer . There is a nice gas grill on deck that we used alot . Place was clean upon arrival ,no hassles. . Pictures online show a dated tv and refrigerator. All of that has been replaced and updated . . Extra tvs in bedrooms would be nice.. Such a good value ,a charming cozy place . TY Lucy for sharing your getaway spot !

Quiet neighborhood with many key deer and a manatee! House was cozy and well stocked with kitchen necessities. It was convenient for all lower keys activities. Lucy was attentive and made herself available for any inquiries. I enjoyed sitting on the dock and fishing in the canal every evening. Highly endorsed!

Very nice stay in Big Pine
Very nice stay in Big Pine
Initially I had some problems with contact communication with the owner. The house was supplied better than any property I've ever rented. If you keep looking you'll eventually find what you need. The house was well worth the rent.Very spacious and cute decor. The stairs and dock are in need of repair, and if you're over 70,the steps are difficult with baggage and groceries. This house is located in a very conveient area, which is important when driving up and down rt.#1. All and all my experience was very good.

Paradise, nice warm breezes, great bike riding, relaxing porch and friendly neighbors !
Paradise, nice warm breezes, great bike riding, relaxing porch and friendly neighbors !
What a wonderful island and comfortable, perfect house! We had the best time! This island is great for walking and bike riding. Speed limits and low because of Key deer population and are very protected (and cute). We enjoyed several daily bike rides across the bridge to No Name Key then taking the path to the end of the road, pretty and lots of wildlife to view. The bridge itself is a great stop to visit with people fishing and is a great afternoon gathering place! Also fun to look at all the fish, sharks, stingrays, tarpon and manatee below! The Winn Dixie grocery store is a very short ride away and is really nice for fresh shrimp and seafood. This shopping area also has several restaurants and a Bealls outlet which is great shopping ! So the island itself is amazing , very friendly and recovering quickly from the hurricane. Also very quiet!! As far as he house- it could not have been better. Completely comfortable beds, very nicely decorated and clean. New stainless refridgerator with ice maker. The porch stays surprising cool in the afternoon, and is a wonderful place to relax, eat, read, etc- we ;lived out on that porch!! Everything was great! I would recommend this island and house to anyone who wants a great relaxing vacation.
