The first floor features an amazing recreation room that includes a ping pong table, views of the gulf and direct access to the beach. On the second floor you will find an open floor plan with the kitchen, living area, dining area and expansive windows featuring amazing views of the gulf. There are also 3 bedrooms on the second floor and access to the walled pool and hot tub. The third floor has 3 bedrooms along with the master bedroom which has 180 degree view of the gulf. One of the bedrooms has 2 sets of bunk beds, the master has a king bed and the other bedroom has 2 sets of twin beds. There is also a spiral staircase which will lead you into the loft area which has a sofa bed and a half bathroom.
The first floor has two sleeper sofas. The second floor has a second master with a king, a queen room with private bath and another queen room. The third floor has the main king master, two twin bedrooms and a bunk room with two twin bunks with full on bottom and twin on top. The fourth floor has two sleeper sofas.

The location was great!! There was plenty of space for 9 adults and 9 kids however there was not enough cookware, towels, washcloths for 18 people. I did call and text about a few things when we 1st got there on Saturday but did not get through to the manager until Tuesday. She did get us plenty of towels, wash cloths, oven mitts, etc. to accommodate the amount of people we had and sent a handyman out to fix the sink that was leaking, the toilet that wouldn't stop running, the door that would not shut, replace the outlets in the 2nd floor bathroom, but never fixed the 3rd floor electric problem. He did run an extension cord so the girls could have a fan because it was really hot and stuffy up there. The pool was not clean when we got there, and they did not come on Friday to clean it. We had a storm that came through on Wednesday night into Thursday and I sent a video of the ceiling leaking in the sitting area off of the kitchen and no one responded. The house has a lot of potential but it's just a rental that in my opinion not maintained. The walkway from the house to the beach is so overgrown with weeds that you can't really see the palm trees and you hope you don't get your eye poked out as you make your way to the beach. The pictures that are online are when they had purchased it or had it up for sale so don't expect it to look like that. The cushions on the couches are ripped from the back of the couch upstairs in the living room and down in the basement. Also, the "Bedroom" next to the kitchen/half bath on the 1st floor does have glass doors with a crank curtain that is a pain to get up and down. Would not recommend that room for adults. The house is close to a public beach access entrance, so we did have to go out early every morning and set our chairs up to get the area behind the house. For me personally I think it is way overpriced for the condition that it is in.

Are vacations experience was a dream, we loved our property! It was perfect for our big family. I was worried after reading a few negative reviews online but clearly those were not very appreciative customers! This property is gorgeous. In fact, other people on the beach asked about the home and were jealous of our property. We quickly let them know how they were able to rent it as well. Of course this home was built quite a few years ago so some things need a little love, but these types of homes have the most character and are so beautiful and if you truly can enjoy the beauty of them, they are the best places to stay. Our property had so much space for our growing family and our new grandbaby. Everyone had their own bedrooms and bathrooms and we could sprawl out and have our own space. We paid $100 to have the pool heated and it was well worth it so if you want a nice pool experience, don’t forget to ask them to heat it for you. The area underneath the house was great and full of things for us to use at the beach and the beach area was the best experience we have ever had. The balconies of this house, looking to the ocean were absolutely outstanding. The house was also kept very clean and had all of the things we needed to cook some food and even grill on the patio. Check in was a breeze with the codes they gave us and we wanted to honor the property by keeping it clean when we left taking out the garbage and maintaining all the rules while we were there, that is what truly makes properties like this stay outstanding. When I first booked the property in November, I was worried about communication but they quickly followed through with all of my emails anytime I emailed them directly. If you don’t book this property, it’s your loss because it truly is a beautiful vacation rental for large families who can appreciate these types of homes. We plan to come back every year that we can.

This property was in the perfect location and right on the beach! We had a plumbing issue and the management took care of the situation. Beautiful house, though a few easy cosmetic fixes would make it even better. Overall I would recommend this property.

We arrived at Vista del Mare in Indian Shores. We were only given a garage code and we were locked out. My sister went around to the back and found the patio door completely of the rails and sliding door open. Once in the house we found the pool area flooded with the hose running. The toilet closet to the kitchen was shut off with water on the floor. We spent the first 1 hour of our vacation cleaning. Here is just a list of what did not work in the house; toilet, tv in the master, most lights in the living room area were burned out, pool was dirty, curtains in master were barely secure and hanging by carpet tape, mold and water damage obvious on ceiling, the fireplace was not working, one of the microwaves not working, elevator not working, locks broken on patio door, screens off, sand toys and chairs dirty and is mess, broken garage door pieces just laying inside the garage, some furniture broken and in very bad shape, carpet tape on hardwood floor, dead roaches in the basement. This was my family’s last trip with my parents. We paid a small fortune to stay there and our stay was not a pleasant one. Oh and don’t bother to call the host. Our only response was she was just there and everything was fine.

This was out 2nd time renting this house. Since the last visit the house has deteriorated and the property manager is very difficult to communicate with or get resolution. We checked in after a bachelorette party group and the house was unfit for new occupants. The maid had two hours to clean the house before our arrival. Everything was a mess and we basically had to clean the house ourselves, the pool was not safe for anyone to get in it, the elevator didn't work, the linens were dirty and overall very disappointing. To date, I have not received any resolution from the property management.

Overall, was a great spot. Plenty of rooms, space, and great access to the beach. Had a few issues with getting in touch with the company before travel, and while on the property when we encountered some issues, but nothing that ruined the stay. We had about 14 people staying here and everyone had a place to sleep and room to hang out.

Lights were burned out with no new bulbs to replace them, pool and hot tub did not work, they sent a pool guy over he left didn’t say anything to anybody and 20 minutes later the pool completely drained , elevator did not work, I had spoke to somebody at the beachfront property specifically, stating that I needed an elevator due to having my older sister that could not do stairs with me, the Internet pass code that was sent was wrong. The only TV that we could get to work on the Roku was on the living room TV. The air conditioning units in the basement didn’t work. There were no fans to use down there. It was super hot. No one could use the master bedroom shower due to a faulty valve, which in turn leaked through the ceiling down into the pantry onto our groceries. Nick had to replace a showerhead due to it was not working so that left us two showers working for the first three days of our stay. Nick the maintenance guy was very helpful and did as much as he could but he called and kept us up to date on everything unlike the beachfront property company which we’ve reached out to multiple dates in a row with text messages and phone calls with no return, except for one time to tell us that Nick would be coming out.

The house was huge and the master bed was comfortable. However it was lacking some pride on cleanliness. I clean houses for a living so my standards are high. For the amount of money apent on renting this place things should be tis top. The only Tv that worked was in the livingroom. Some of the other remotes were missing batteries so Tvs wouldnt work. We could not hang out where the ping pong table was cause none of the AC's that were on the walls worked. But other then those minors things we had a blast!!!!! The house was awesome with some of the BEST views of the sunset!!!! We all enjoyed our stay!!!!! Thank you for this opportunity!

Positives: Absolutely beautiful home with an amazing view. Several balconies by which to enjoy the beach and sunset views. We watched dolphins and manatees swim by daily, and watched the birds dive for fish. The cleaning crew coming in as we departed was super friendly. Would definitely stay again.Negatives: The home did have some roof tile damage, which I conveyed via text, but I received no response. When it rained, there was a subsequent roof leak. Again, I texted the number given to me, but again there was no response. The only other negatives were that the A/C did not work in the first level game room, which made it barely bearable. Also, the home is somewhat close to public access, so you'll need to stake your claim to a prime beach spot in front of the house early, or visitors will grab it before you.

I sent a text with complaint - email and a phone call. No response. Finally on Saturday I was able to get someone by text. One of the family members and his family had to relocate because of mott flies - I had a lots of things that need attention. I have them to the person I got in contact with on Saturday. They said they would speak to their manager an make things right. So where are you at with this. The pool was full of sea shells . 1 dish towel for a week is just not right. Your dishwasher doesn’t clean the dishes . There is a towel rack/bar missing from the bathroom next to the kitchen.also that toilet runs. A door wall off the living room doesn’t open. Your elevator works whenever it wants. I was told it was not to be used unless elderly. 86 year old gg congestive heart failure approves her. Fruit flies were in the kitchen sink

The managers never call you back. There is no physical address for the managers, even though they put one down. The gas stove top filled the kitchen with gas and we were unable to cook the entire vacation. The dishwasher did not work so we had to do dishes all vacation. The house was extremely dirty or. I could go on and on it was definitely not worth the money.

Beautiful home with some obvious wear. Beach access and toys were great. House comfortable size for 18 people(8 adults) Pool small and not a gathering place for family to sit by. Had afew beach items which was a surprise. The limit of 1 tp per bathroom and 1 paper towel is stupid. First time we've run into that. parking and AC was good. Beds comfortable. No linens for loft hideabeds but after getting response from Beach Rentals (not VRBO) that was remedied. Dealing with was quite a pain, they don't answer the phones and texting to their 800 number didn't work either. Had to call them with punch list of issues on Monday to get action. They immediately responded and fixed what they could. Rickety grill, but it works, for now.

The location of the house was perfect. Karol was very responsive to all of my questions prior to arrival. The elevator was great for my mom who has mobility issues. The size of the house and the bedroom configuration worked well for our family. The beach was the ideal setting for my sister's wedding and a birthday celebration for my mom. But the house needs maintenance. We reported some of the issues with little to no response. A member of my party fixed the garage door so it would open. The pipe on the third floor leaking into the pool was reported and needs to be looked at. The seal on the refrigerator is not working properly,the wine refrigerator doesn't work. We were thankful for the second refrigerator on the 1st floor. Knobs on the gas stove spin around which makes it difficult to turn on and off the stove. The house is in the perfect location but it needs some repairs.

The property surprisingly did match the pictures. Overall we were pleased. We could NOT get the jets to work in the hot tub. There was a lot of broken and damaged items, the water/icemaker did not work, the wine fridge did not work. We had issues with the air conditioning unit. They did send a tech out for the air the next day but the other issues were never addressed or resolved. There were a lot of minor damage issues but nothing we couldn’t live with. Overall the home was beautiful. The views were amazing and the beach was gorgeous. There was plenty of space to accommodate our large party. I would definitely stay there again. The issues were nothing so severe it would keep me from renting this beautiful home with private beach access again.

The location of the home is fantastic. The elevator was a big help as I have RA and it is hard for me to go up and down stairs. You can fit four cars in the garage. The house is big but is in need of repairs. The downstairs leading to the beach and where a couch , tv and ping pong table is located can’t be used as the AC doesn’t work and according to the rental office has been out for months. Rental office was quick to say it is not included as part of the house living area but in the house description it states ping pong table to use. Temperature was well over 90 degrees. Moving up stairs we where greeted by sand on floor and kitchen light has tons of dust from nut being clean. If you plan on cooking the cookware and cooking utensils need to be replaced. They are very old and scratched. One chair is missing from table and one seat had a nail poking out. You can see on most of the cloth furniture it is very dirty. The sliding doors need repair as the are very hard toopen. Upstairs the master had water stains on ceiling and one window has sheet rock peeling away from water damage. The top floor of the house is also unusable as it stays about 85 degrees so don’t plan on using that area to sleep or watch tv. There is no normal sized broom to even sweep only a mini broom and dustpan. This house could be wonderful if the invested on updates and a better cleaning crew. Would I rent again....probably not. I would definitely take photos of the damage when you arrive.

I would like to leave a totally honest review. First, I would absolutely use this property again. The location is great. Could not be closer to the ocean. The pool was a hit with the children, although I think if they were teens or older it might have been a little disappointing as it isn’t a huge pool. The layout worked well for our large, multi-generational group. The negative: the house is not in very good condition. There were a lot of broken doors, knobs, etc. The ice maker/water dispenser in the fridge did not work. Some of the fold-out beds were broken. We arrived with two of the a/c not working. To the credit of the property managers, considering we arrived on a late Saturday afternoon on a holiday weekend, they tried to take care of things. The A/C was fixed on Sunday. The wall mounted A/C in the basement was never fixed as a parts had to be ordered. Extra linens were delivered as well as a new blow-up mattress. The house is beautiful and deserves to be better maintained. But having the family together and watching the priceless sunsets every night made it all worth it.

Perfect location!!!
The house location is fantastic!!!! We loved being able to walk to the beach out the back door. The house was clean and the bedrooms were big!!! The garage door was broken. We came back from dinner and it was up. It kept raising and lowering. The air was not working in the downstairs game room. I called property management and they were very responsive!!! They even came to check and make sure it was fixed. The house does need some maintenance, but I would definitely stay again!!!

Great House, great beach, great location. House needs many minor repairs including workable blinds, toaster, dirty pool,. most important AC units in recreation room turned off. reported to manager, response was to notify maintenance, no reponse from maintenance.

Good experience overall. Sucks to have to bring toilet paper and paper towels. The only other complaint I have is the rules and check in/out instructions. I received instructions by email when booking and before checking in and upon arrival there was a notebook with instructions also but they didn’t match what was in the emailed instructions.

we stayed here for our family vacation (20) persons and the house was just perfect, although the layout of the house we didn't really like, it has 4 levels, and the very top level kinda weird, pointless in my poi t of view. the pool is perfect size. beachfront house!! we liked that the house came with like bikes, boards, swimming equipment , etc. The location is perfect also, very close to ice cream places, walking distance, restaurants . Walmart 10 mins away. Property was clean. The best part about this house is the service. Very fast responds from the owner. any issues we had it was resolved within a day. basement has a game room which is very nice! If you're looking for a good time in a beautiful big home, this is it! you wont be disappointed.

Overall, we were very happy with our stay at Vista del Mare. The house was more than enough space for our 3 families (kids, parents, grandparents). We loved swimming in the pool and walking the short distance to the beach each day. The house has spacious bedrooms and plenty of bathrooms. We enjoyed the in house sound system and were thankful for the elevator for all our luggage. When we arrived the Keurig was broken, it was promptly replaced by the management company. We also had intermittent issues with the hot tub throughout the week. The first few days it worked, for the most part, and then at the end of our trip completely stopped heating. We contacted the management company a few times about this, finally it was resolved on the last day of the trip. I would recommend this house to other travelers and would even book the same house again myself, however, will be sure to notify the property managers immediately if something isn't working quite right. Thank you for hosting our family on a very memorable vacation!
