This house is the perfect place for a St Simons Island vacation. It's on a short, quiet, side street but is literally a 2 to 3 minute drive to restaurants, shopping, and beaches. You could probably walk to the village area in 5 to 10 minutes tops. The house is well stocked with anything you might need and check in/out is a breeze. The owner was extremely responsive and very kind. I hope we get the chance to stay here again.

Nice quiet neighborhood, loved the back porch area ! And was nice that they provided sheets to cover couch from the pups. Beds are comfortable . We had a wonderful time as always. Great communication with owners .

This vacation home exceeded our expectations! Clean and very well equipped. The beds are very comfortable which is something often lacking in a rental. We brought our two dogs who were very happy in the house and the fully fenced backyard. The location on this quiet street is in close proximity to the beach and the hosts are very friendly and responsive. We had a lovely stay and plan to come back!

We had another excellent stay in St. Simons. Sea La Vie is very conveniently located and is very dog friendly, which is important for us and our pups. Bonnie is a great host and was extremely quick to reply for the small things we reached out about. Definitely a nice home and close to the restaurants and shops.

This was my 3rd trip to SSI, and the first for our entire family. The property is exactly as described within the listing. Walking distance to easy beach access, and a less than 5-minute drive to a larger public beach. We visited both. A short walk to the Pier, which our family walked multiple times each day. The home has all the amenities you might need. Communication with the host was super easy! We rate the property a 10 out of 10! May we suggest a stop of Three Little Birds, Half Shells, Brogans, Moo Cow, Southern Soul, and shopping at Tonya's while you're on the island! Amazing trip had by all.

This was long weekend getaway for my grown children and myself. We found property to be better than pics reflected. Property is pet friendly but our pups are all over the weight limit but we hadn’t planned on bringing them anyway. Property is very short car ride to beach and village we enjoyed our stay very much. Would definitely rent again.

We could not have been any happier staying in St Simons at this adorable house. The location was perfect and the outdoor shower was perfect after a long day at the beach. The back yard was so nice too! We can’t wait to hook our next trip!

Our family had a wonderful time on the property. It was clean and bright, had responsive and informative hosts, and was comfortable indoors and out. The outdoor lights and fan made for enjoyable evenings, and there were two distinct areas to relax inside. It was minutes walk from the beach, the cart with beach supplies was a huge plus, and the outdoor shower a great convenience. It was also just a short walk or bike to the to the village for some ice cream or shopping. Beyond the beach, there were lots of things to do nearby. We particularly enjoyed a sunset cruise with Captain Matt on the String of Pearls, visits to Fort Frederick and the very knowledgeable ranger tours, and a trip to Jekyll Island’s Turtle Rehabilitation Center and Driftwood Beach. We will definitely be planning a return trip, perhaps next time with our doggies.

We made quite a few dinners at the house and enjoyed the outside patio in the back while the dogs played within the fenced yard. There were plenty of towels for all 7 family members. The water pressure in the showers is amazing. The cottage is within walking distance of the beach and if you are just bringing a towel and chair the walk is fine. If you have more to carry, and prefer not to walk, I would suggest renting a golf cart to get around the island and the beaches easily. We walked to 5th street beach with all our gear each day. There is a beach cart available in the outside storage to put your chairs and umbrella in. This was very convenient and we enjoyed walking the 3 blocks without issue. We also enjoyed walking around the neighborhood park each evening and to town for shopping. The only complaint is the king bed in the smaller bedroom. Although comfortable, there is a large dip in the mattress in the middle of the bed. My husband and I would find ourselves rolling into it during the night often. The master king bed was very comfortable and my sister and her husband would remark how comfortable the bed was every morning. Bonnie was available for questions and answered quickly. We are looking forward to staying again in the future and would recommend this home to anyone interested in visiting St. Simons Island.

My wife and I and our two fur kids really enjoyed our stay in St. Simons. The house was perfect - close enough to everything but on a nice, quiet side street and had a fenced back yard which was just what we needed for the puppies. Communication was easy and we will definitely be back again in the future.

We had a wonderful stay at this property for 4 nights -- a perfect COVID reunion with grandparents, parents and two kids (teens). The house was stocked with everything we needed including beach chairs, beach towels, extra linens, covers for furniture if you bring your pup (very dog friendly), and everything we needed in the kitchen to cook our meals. We especially loved the sun room as an extra bright room to gather and visit. I gave it 4 stars as there was an issue with our check in and we could not access the property upon arrival. This was apparently due to a VRBO double booking, and not due to the owners. The situation was remedied after many phone calls and the owners offered us a later check out on our last day.

The house is so cute, really comfy (especially the beds!), so clean and super convenient to everything on SSI. Our pup loved the backyard and the patio is great after a long day in the beach. We will stay here again.

Enjoyed our quick getaway! Location was great in close proximity to the beach and village. House had all we needed - great setup, beautiful outdoor space, chairs, wagon, pup friendly. Bonnie was attentive and wonderful with communications. Definitely look forward to coming back for another stay.
