About this house rental
Enjoy complete relaxation in our 5 bedroom, waterfront home with multiple masters, several gathering spaces, furnished deck, dock, and boat lift. Centrally located 5 minutes to the MD/DE beaches and the award winning Bay Side Golf Course, The Cleveland Beach House is close to all the action of Ocean City yet far enough away for a private retreat.
This beautifully decorated 3200 sq. ft. home has a large, open floor plan made up of the kitchen, dining room, family room and all-season sun porch. Features of the living room are a 65" Roku TV with a sprawling sectional to relax on after a day at the beach. You will also find paperback beach reads, games and DVD's for family entertainment. Enjoy your morning coffee in the all-season sun room fully equipped with air conditioning for those warmer summer days. We are foodies and our kitchen certainly reflects that. Meals can be prepped in our fully equipped kitchen with a 5 burner gas stove and 2 ovens, granite countertops, and stainless steel appliances. The island serves as a breakfast bar with seating up to five. The main dining table seats up to eight and over looks the water. It's a great place to watch the boats go by. There is also additional dining in the sunroom which doubles as a gaming table. There is one Master bedroom located on this level with a King bed, Roku enabled 55" flat screen TV, walk-in closet and attached Master bathroom with step in shower. Also located on this floor is a powder room and laundry facilities.
Upstairs are four more bedrooms and a hall bath. The first bedroom on the upper level is a Master suite with King bed, 55" Roku TV and its own sitting room which has amazing veiws of the Assawoman Bay and Ocean City skyline. The sitting room has a crib, and a seating area complete with a sectional. Additionally, the Master suite has a custom walk-in closet and the bathroom has a jetted, soaking tub, walk-in shower, and dual sinks. The second bedroom is not to be outdone with a Queen bed and a 55" a Roku TV. The third bedroom has two twin beds and a 32" Roku enabled TV. The fifth bedroom is affectionately called the Bunk Room. It provides two pyramid beds, twins over fulls, a built in stereo, foosball, PS3 for gaming and a 42" Roku enabled TV. Some of our guests have told us that their children loved this room so much, they had trouble getting them out of the room. This floor also provides a hall bath with a tub for bathing the little ones.
Located in the community of Cape Windsor, your family will be able to enjoy a life-guarded pool from Memorial Day to Labor Day and playground all year long. The home provides linens and house towels, so all you have to bring are your favorite beach towels.

We really enjoyed our stay! Traveled with my parents and our two toddlers. The house was very clean. The garage was full of beach items, bicycles, and ping pong table. The community pool was a bonus! The master bedroom upstairs was a treat. Beautiful views of the water from multiple areas in the home. Owner so easy to talk with. We will definately look into renting again here in the future!

We really enjoyed so much about this property! To start, it comfortably housed our family of 11, and had so many great amenities. The dock was a great space to gather, and there are kayaks, fishing gear and a paddleboard. Beautiful home inside and out, the kitchen was great for gathering, kids room with bunk beds made a great hangout spot, and every room has a TV + PS3. Master bedroom was definitely a highlight as well as the sunroom. Lastly, the hosts were extremely accommodating, and we appreciate you allowing us to have a great vacation here!

We decided to do a last-minute Easter getaway (2 - families of 5 and Grandmom). Kate was extremely responsive, helpful and organized. Upon arrival, the home was sparkling clean and ready for guests. The house/property is well stocked and well cared for. Our children loved the board games, ping-pong table, and foosball table (and the upstairs double bunk room, of course). Weather was a bit chilly during out stay, but the kids enjoyed the basketball net and playground in the community. We hope to visit again so we can enjoy the water activities and more outdoor fun. Absolutely a 5 star experience!

5 star Beach house
Thank you Kate and Dave!! We gave our children a Christmas gift for a week at this beach house. We have 3 married daughters, a son who's engaged for Nov, a teenage son, twelve yr old daughter and 4 beautiful grand children, one whose in the nicu. He wasn't due until August, but made an early appearance. Our daughter and son-in-law were able to come for two nights and have a break from running to the nicu and just relax! Our days were spend crabbing off the back deck, kayaking, going to the beach,which was only a mile from the house. The men loved that there was a boat lift for our son-in-laws boat and this grandmother loved that there was a fence along the deck to protect our granddaughters from the canal. Also alot of wonderful restaurants in the area!! We had a wonderful time!! Kate and Dave thought of everything to make their house comfortable and very clean!! Thanks so much for sharing it with us!! The house was well stocked for just about any activity you'd want. From fishing to kayaking to games and movies, Foosball, ping pong, bicycling, etc. We brought 3 families with 8 kids and had a blast! Very close to OC and the Delaware beaches. Great restaurants mins away. Beautiful home. Lots of very thoughtful touches.

Thanksgiving Gathering
After a few years, our family continued the tradition of gathering at the beach to celebrate Thanksgiving.
We were fortunate to have found a lovely home to rent. Very clean, accommodations met all we needed and Kate was so gracious. We are thankful that she shared her home with us and made us feel very welcome. We would love to return for another get together

Amazing Amazing Amazing
The property was everything we could ask for. Kids really enjoyed the bunk bed room and kept themselves entertained (but most of all out of trouble). We were able to use the provided chairs and wagon from the garage when we went to the beach. Fishing right outside the backyard was so convenient and at night we enjoyed family time at the fire pit. Kate is an extremely helpful host during booking and even during our stay. Our family had such a great time and will certainly come back and stay at this property.

This was our first family vacation which was a gift for my in laws from all of us. .
The house was absolutely incredible and everything we expected. There was plenty of room for 8 adults throughout. The sunsets were beautiful, we walked down Lincoln ave. in the evening to get a better view but still was good at the home. We are dog people so we made sure we were out front for evening walks for Mona, George and Lola . Neighbors are friendly and the location was perfect. Definitely will be renting again at some point! Perfect Family Getaway
After a wedding in Philly our family decided to book a vacation to the Delaware shore. There were 13 of us total including 9 adults and 4 kids (12, 4, 3, and 1). The house is exactly as described and everyone loved it. My 3 year old and I went kayaking most mornings and fished/crabbed off the dock which he loved. Everything is close including the beach, water park, go karts, shopping, and great restaurants. The host was extremely responsive and helped us quickly with minor issues upon arrival. The community pool and playground were a nice amenity to have. I would only point out that the crib mattress in the master bedroom upstairs is a bit flimsy so I would recommend bringing your own travel crib. We would consider booking this property again!

Perfect relaxing week!
Everything was perfect from renting, checking in and to checking out. The property was beautiful and clean and extremely quiet. We really appreciated that when we were upstairs we couldn't hear the babies crying downstairs. Kate was always responsive to questions and even gave us the option of checking in early when the property was ready. The kitchen was well stocked with every utensil we needed and a great selection of spices. The only complaint was that a week was not long enough!!!

The details make the difference
We have been doing a yearly trip to the Delaware beaches for the last 5 years. This house was a great combination of lots of assets (water access, pool, well stocked for kids) and made everyone in our multi generation family feel like there was something they could do. Family vacation success!!
My family just got back yesterday from their stay at the Cleveland Beach Pad and we all miss is terribly! Kate & Dave’s home is so comfortable, big enough for my crazy family, and had anything we could’ve needed. The house is so bright and beautifully decorated, and we never felt like we were on top of each other. It’s so close to Coastal Highway, but Cape Windsor is so quiet & peaceful. Everything was perfect from top to bottom. The property is exactly how it is listed. The house was very clean and the layout perfect for my family. Such a peaceful magical place. Very clean, updated with beautiful decor, and a relaxing view! Our family truly enjoyed ourselves! Even though our stay was not during peek season, there was still plenty to do. Kate and Dave were so kind and easily accessible if we had any questions! The house and location- If you can believe it, the pictures do not do the house justice. Every room is tastefully decorated with a lot of thought and consideration to what people may need during their stay. When you walk in you get the views from the four season indoor sitting porch which is pretty spectacular. The kitchen is well appointed and there are plenty of sitting spaces both at the kitchen island, dining room table, and sitting room which are all close enough together that you can have your own space while still enjoying conversation and company from the other areas. The living room is comfortable and there are a ton of games for all ages to enjoy. The garage is full of helpful items as well as a ping pong table that we really enjoyed! Each bedroom is a good size with some of the highlights being the master bedroom on the second floor, the bunk bed/game room, and the master bedroom on the first floor. The master on the second floor has a side sitting area with a crib and couch. The windows open up to a beautiful view, but fear not the blinds close to make things perfectly blackout dark so your little one can get a full nights sleep (trust me ours slept so well with naps and bedtime!). The bathroom is spacious so we had an easy and dare I say fun time bathing our children in the large bathtub and enjoyed our own showers with the double shower head. The game room is so fun- foosball, two sets of bunk beds, toys in the closet, tv with video games, what more could you ask for? The master on the first floor had many additional items a family staying with a child would need such as a high chair, pack n play etc. We loved the outdoor area fire pit and enjoying kayaking and relaxing outside. Our first day there was a little rainy, windy and overcast but it truly did not matter as the views were great and the house had so much to offer. The location itself is very ideal- away from the chaos of other nearby towns/beaches but close enough to everything. There are also some really amazing restaurants nearby so we definitely got our seafood fix! About Kate- the entire booking process Kate was beyond helpful, responsive, and proactive. Perfect house in a perfect location
Beautiful house in picture perfect order, right on the water. We took day trips to Bethany Beach (6 miles north), Ocean City (just south), and Assateague Island (a short drive away). On our one rainy day the kids were entertained with the ping pong table, foosball, board games, and Roku TV. Lots of restaurants around meant less cooking and cleanup than usual. A great place to get away!

The house had a perfect open layout for a large group. The house was beautiful, clean and so comfortable! Kate was a caring and perfect host who checked-in periodically to make sure all was well. We were there in the winter but would enjoy coming back in season.

Amazing get away
Our rental experience here was amazing. The process from the initial booking through checkout was done with ease. The house is awesome, with plenty of room for a large family. It comes fully equipped with dishes, linens, games, televisions, crabbing cages, etc... The house is beautiful and clean and it sits in on the water. The owner made herself readily available if we had any needs and made sure the house was stocked with everything we needed for our holiday getaway. I would strongly recommend this home as a vacation rental!

Exactly the time-out that we needed
Kate was incredibly supportive before and during our stay. The home looked even better than it did in the photos. The pics did not do it justice. We wanted to mostly cook while there, and there were plenty of cooking supplies available for us. The neighborhood was so quiet and beautiful, and conveniently located near everything (grocery store, restaurants, beaches, etc.). There was so much space that we already spoke with some relatives about using this home in future family getaways. It's a treasure!!
