About this house rental
If you're looking for a prime location for your next Salt Lake City stay, look no further! Nestled in the heart of Salt Lake City's highly desirable Sugar House district, you'll find yourself only a short walk away from lots of cool shops, restaurants and coffee!
Freeway access is only 2 minutes away, conveniently accessing downtown Salt Lake City in only 10 minutes and 7 world class ski resorts including Park City within just half hour!
Though many modern updates have been added, this charming 3 bed, 1 bath early 20th century bungalow still retains many of the features and character of its time. Many rooms in this rare open floor plan are separated only by custom cut archways, french, and arch style doors. Although the HVAC system has been converted to a modern forced air system, the space still contains the original radiators that have been converted to shelves to retain their distinctive charm.
This space consists of the main level of a multi-family home. The home has all of the amenities and features that you'll need to make your stay a comfortable and memorable one. The kitchen is fully equipped with all of the appliances & utensils that you'll need during your stay and the dining room table will comfortably seat 6 to 8 people.
There are 2 TVs in the house (65" in the family room and 24" in the master bedroom) complete with:
cable tv,
Netflix/Hulu
blue-ray player,
high-speed wifi internet access.
All linens, towels, etc. are provided and extra amenities include:
off-street parking,
washer/dryer and
a pool table and dart board to boot.
A selection of DVDs, books and boardgames is also provided.
This is my home which I live in for part of the year so I try to make it as comfortable and inviting as possible.
There is no smoking of any kind allowed inside the property. Smoke of any kind has no problem traveling into the other units and disturbing the people who stay there.

Guest Access
Guests will have full access to all of the main floor, backyard, down stairs laundry room and driveway. The laundry room and side entrance is shared with a guest who stays downstairs. However, this space does have its own private entrances at the front door and one other entrance after entering the side of the house from the outside.

Getting Around
It certainly doesn't hurt to have your own vehicle to get to where you want to go but if you don't, this property is conveniently located within walking distance to all the finest shopping, dining, and nightlife spots that Sugar House has to offer. And if your destination is too far to walk, you can catch a city bus less than a block away or hop on the city light rail system less than a half mile away!

As mentioned earlier, there is no smoking of any kind allowed inside the property.
There are no pets allowed and please bare in mind that there are guests who stay below in the basement level who keep things pretty quiet so please be conscious of appropriate noise levels at the appropriate times. The laundry facilities are shared with one other guest who stays down stairs so please remove your laundry as soon as it has finished its cycle and to prevent stains on the carpet, please remove your shoes before entering carpeted portion of the home.

This property was perfect for our family of four. We were easily able to navigate anywhere in SLC from here. Close to the interstate and very safe and quiet! Jason was an excellent host, and responded quickly to any questions we had during our stay. Highly recommend!!

Mu husband, my two adult children, and I came to Salt Lake City to visit family. Several family members live in the area and a few more not too far from it. The location was perfect for us, very central to everywhere we needed to be. It is a great neighborhood. The host was very helpful and responsive through the booking process and during our stay there. The house had plenty of room for the four of us. The pool table was a great bonus! We really enjoyed our stay.

Great location, not far from mountains or downtown. Grocery store is also nearby. The house was exceptionally clean and Jason was a great host. Very professional and responsive. I will definitely be staying when I come back to ski this winter.

Loved this cozy home! It was close to shops, stores and restaurants. We enjoyed walking the neighborhood everyday and our boys loved the pool table! We had everything we needed and would stay here again.

We loved staying at Jason’s home. He was a wonderful host and quick to respond. My daughter had a knee surgery so we spent most of the time relaxing inside while she recovered. The comfortable beds and living space was perfect for us. The home was fully stocked with all the essentials.
The neighborhood was really convenient. Lots of restaurants and shopping nearby. We are looking forward to staying again in December!!

Nice efficient house layout with 3 legitimate private bedrooms and comfortable beds. Good location close to Sugarhouse area and easy access to freeway. Would definitely stay here again when in SLC.

Our family of three came to ski at solitude. The house was perfect. The kitchen is well stocked - with coffee, sugar, creamer and tea to get started our first morning. Plenty of dishes, pots and pans. Even nice wine glasses which we appreciated. Beds were very comfortable. Towels were great.
The space is easy to relax in. We really enjoyed it.
It was an easy 30 minute drive to the slopes.
Jason was very helpful. We’ve stayed in several places near salt lake over the years - this was definitely the best.

This home is in a great Sugarhouse location within walking distance to great shops and restaurants and convenient proximity to I80 for easy mountain resort access. Charming architectural details and host Jason was welcoming, accommodating and responsive. Had a great stay!

The house was wonderful! Clean and convenient in Sugarhouse. It allowed me and my daughter a nice place to unwind, share some dinners, and a great place for me to sleep comfortably. We enjoyed pizza and wine in the back on a lovely fall evening. Would book again for our ski trip!

My daughter graduated from the University of Utah, so my family needed a place to stay for the long weekend. I am very glad we found Jason and Sugar House. The place was perfect. Clean and tidy. The pool table was a big hit! Jason was attentive and communicated well. Overall a perfect stay.

With its central location, the Sugar House worked perfectly as home base for skiing several mountains. Jason has done a nice job ensuring his home has everything you might need. He checked in with us several times make sure our stay was going well. He was also extremely flexible allowing us to reschedule our initial trip which had to be postponed due to Covid. We hope to be back!

Our adult family of 4 was very happy here for the Christmas week. Jason was a good communicator when we had questions and responsive to our needs. The beds were comfortable and the spaces completely adequate. Pool table was fun and game closet provided good entertainment! This even had a nice office with a desk and doors that close for working from home! It was decorated nicely for Christmas but not over-kill. Great location being to Sugar House and local shopping. Recommended highly!

We had the opportunity to stay at Sugar House for two weeks and it was awesome! We are a homeschooling family of four that works from home and the office was so nice to have for work and school. Kitchen was very well stocked and the views of the mountains from the living room were incredible!

Hank you so much for sharing your home with us! Not only was the property as described it was even better! The couch and beds were comfortable, everything was outlined in the house binder, and you could tell the area was a nice one. The location was central to everything we did which was wonderful and was within walking distance to food. Overal it was a great stay, thank you!
