This place was so dirty we were all grossed out. Also several things didn't work. For example, the kitchen faucet wouldn't stay on. The screen door upstairs kept falling off the tracks. The heater in the downstairs bathroom wouldn't shut off so the bathroom was really hot and, since the heater was loud, it also interfered with our sleep. The sheets on one of the beds were totally stained. Horrible. And, there was dog hair everywhere. I will never rent this place again and I highly recommend you find a different place. There are lots of other options in the area.

Excellent accomodations. All my kids, their spouses, and grandkids could come.
We also had 4 pets.
There was plenty of room for eating and playing games. The home was spotless and only a bloc from the beach and town.
We would rent it again.

This was our 2nd stay at this property and we have really enjoyed it. It is an excellent home for our family of 6 adults, 3 children and dog. We were very comfortable. The home is well equiped. Access to the beach is fantastic via several different access points. The beach is beautiful and never crowded. Our only problem was when we arrived, the dryer was making a horrendously loud grinding sound (it could be heard loudly throughout the house). We called Vacasa and they said they were aware of it and that they were waiting for a part. They told us to go ahead and use the dryer, but it quit spinning a couple of days into our stay and we could no longer use. Not having the ability to do laundry while spending a week at the beach was extremely inconvenient. We contacted Vacasa again and they did not respond. Overall, the home was very clean but the loveseat in the main living room could use a good cleaning as it had an odd smell in one of the seats. We highly recommend this home and will return in the future.

My family loved the views from the 2nd level deck and the very comfortable couches in the living room and we loved the king bed upstairs. The kids had a great time and played many games on the table top fooseball.

The weather was chilly and rained frequently during our visit. We ventured out when the rain let up and went for walks on the beach(which is close!), crabbing, shopping, site seeing. We ate in mostly, but had some meals at Mo's and the Brewery in Cannon Beach.
The 2-story unit was quite comfortable and warm. Plenty of bedroom space for 6 adults and two teenagers.
The 3 bedrooms and one bathroom downstairs were comfortable and the master bedroom was upstairs as was a bathroom.
The living room and kitchen are upstairs and the space was large and easily accommodated everyone for meals and relaxing. Comfortable reclining couches, a nice 8' long dining table, and a corner electric fireplace with a television above. The kitchen had plenty of counter space for prepping and serving dinner.
All in all we were very pleased with the accommodations.

1. You are a 5 minute walk to beach access. My elderly mother with a cane was able to walk up and through the beach access without a problem.
2. The house was fully stocked. Beach towels, kitchen utinsels, dishes, bowls, laundry detergent, toilet paper, outdoor grill, kitchen appliances, and trash bags.
3. Very clean and well maintained. Aside from small cosmetic damage, it was a delight to not worry about a smelly or dirty place.
4. Extra amenities, each room except for the bunk bed room has a TV and charging block.
5. The communication and instructions were clear to help us feel like we were well taken care of and helped us understand the expectations to be a good guest.
Thank you!

They give you 1 garbage bag, there was 10 of us there for 5 days and we had to go buy supplies, because you only get 1 roll of toilet paper per bathroom as well. You get 5 tide pods for laundry, which is enough I guess for 1-2 nights, but not when you have a baby that threw up on everything and you have to do 3 loads. Also the dryer shakes the ENTIRE house, it's the weirdest thing and very annoying. We slept in the upstairs King size bedroom and it was the worst sleep of our life. The bed is very hard, it killed our backs and shoulders, we both only got maybe 4 hours of sleep each night and woke up in so much pain. We almost didn't stay the last night because we didn't want to sleep in that bed. It is by far the worst bed I have ever slept in anywhere. I would pick a different location just for this reason alone, the rest we're simply annoying but I would never go back because I need somewhere comfortable to sleep.
It's close to the ocean, across from a little food place, across from a weed shop if that's your thing haha. It would be a great place to stay if they had a comfortable bed and stocked with more garbage bags and toilet paper. And looked into that weird dryer thing as well.

The goods:
Decent size living and kitchen area. It was just the two of us and our toddler, but would work for about 6 people.
Some views of the beach.
2 minutes walk to the beach: Can't beat that.
Had sand toys we used, our toddler loved it.
Cons:
For paying $600 a night, they definitely could have done more to make the stay comfortable and cozy.
No salt so we had to run our to the store for salt ...
It needs a good thorough cleaning.
The chairs on the deck are all rusted and gross. We never sat outside, it was not inviting.
The grill was old and dirty. At the least they should replace the wire brush to clean it; I shouldn't have to buy a new one.
Vacasa is stingy with supplies and I wish they changed that. If I am staying 2 nights or 10, they only give you 3 dishwasher pods and 3 washer pods.
Overall, I will rent it again for a lower price. The proximity to beach is amazing.

This is a nice place very close to the beach. Great place to have a younger dog the stairs were tough for my old girl. House has everything you need except it could use a few more bowls. Lots of holding containers a rarity for rentals.

Plenty of room for everyone and cute, amazing location—such a lovely short walk to and from to beach. Quiet and charming. Big minus—not nearly as clean as it should be. There was actual sand in the master suite sheets which led me to question whether they’d really been washed; or perhaps at best washed with sandy items. Cobwebs in lots of places. With the exorbitant Covid era “cleaning fees” this was very disappointing. I expected spotless for why I paid and as a former professional housekeeper I know a spit shine when I see one. The mattresses need replaced—the master is rock hard and lumpy—concave on either side and a hill in between. We had a great time though and with a few updates and better cleaning this place would be perfect.

We loved staying at Rockaway beach! It was perfect for our friends and pups and we couldn’t be happier with the location. It was close to Canon and Manzanita where there’s great food and drink. Would definitely stay again.

Great stay, just needs a couple tweaks
We had 6 adults, 3 kids and a baby in our group and this stay worked very well for our trip—well stocked kitchen and functional layout. The home is about a 3 min walk to the beach, but there is a small sandy hill you have to walk down for beach access which may be difficult for the elderly. Gorgeous beach with plenty of room for social distancing, and a creek with shallow water running to the ocean which was perfect for young kids. Very close to shops (and everyone we saw was wearing masks inside and most people were masked on the sidewalks.)
Our only complaints on the house are very fixable:
1) porch light was out so really dark in front of the house;
2) there are light blocking curtains in the living room area, but the sliding glass door doesn’t have one. Mid-day, the sun would make it super hot from all the light coming in.
3) The upstairs bedroom and the kids room with bunk beds had only a sheer curtain, so the rooms were super bright as the sun rose. Not conducive to sleeping in.
4) This unit shares an upper and lower deck with another vacation home, and there is no separation between the upper decks. There appears to be a door missing, which made it awkward to use if both parties were outside.
Overall a great stay!

The house has a great location and amenities. We rented both sides of the duplex and the connected deck was an added bonus. Well stocked kitchen and bedrooms. WiFi, board games, and plenty of televisions.

Nice place for a getaway
Beds were comfy, kitchen had plenty of pots and pans for cooking. Everything was clean. TV was difficult to operate (quite possibly user error!). I would recommend the place for a quick getaway. It would be nice for a longer stay if the outdoor chairs weren't mostly made of rust. But I would still stay again!

We loved that the kitchen had everything. A instant pot and crock pot and sharp kitchen knives and coffee grinder. Plenty of dishes etc.
All the plugs worked and were plentiful for our group of 6 crafters.
The main king bedroom is off the kitchen. Beds were comfy and there were plenty of blankets and towels.

Great location well appointed house
We used this house for a crafters retreat for a group of six.
We were highly impressed with how well the kitchen was stocked- coffee grinder, instant pot, crockpots large and small and good sharp knives plus the non stick pans were actually non stick.
The king bed is on the main floor off the kitchen in case you can’t tell from photos and the rest of the bedrooms on the lower floor.
We had a great time in October so can’t soea to beach access or setup but from what was around seemed it would be good for beaching too.

Our children and grandkids enjoyed this comfortable and very clean beach house It was a very roomy and relaxing place to stay for all ten of us. A perfect place to celebrate our daughter‘s 40th birthday!
Everyone’s favorite was walking barefoot in the sand and splashing in the waves of the ocean.
Souvenir and thrift store shopping in Rockaway was fun with stops at the ice cream shop.
Another delightful surprise was seeing the old steam engine pass behind the house.
We took a side trip (15 minutes)to the Tillamook Cheese Factory. What delicious cheese and ice cream!

Excellent floor plan. Aunt & Uncle had upper floor king bed, and mom & dad with 2 & 4 year olds on the main floor with room for more. Clean, bright, nicely updated, Very close to beach. Kids loved the train, cool tide pool in Barview, amazing, huge (30 foot) kites at the Kite Festival. Wonderful beach. Six thumbs up!

Good house for a relaxing group vacation
We really enjoyed our stay. The location worked out great for some downtown access, the beach being right there and cruising up and down 101. The house accommodated our group well as far as bedrooms and linens. It was clean and ready for us when we arrived. My only feedback would be that there were the cooking equipment was old and there were not enough pots and pans to cook for the number of people the house holds - they were all small.
