About this house rental
A modern home built in 1997, this lovely, four-bedroom plus den, three-and-one-half bath, single-family home is located just three buildings from the ocean and one block from the main street in the town of Bethany at 104 Hollywood Street.
The house has two master bedrooms with bathrooms, a bunk bedroom with one set of bunk beds plus a twin bed with a pop-up trundle bed, a fourth bedroom with twin beds, and a den with a sofa bed. With hardwood floors, a large kitchen open to the dining room and living room, it is complete with all of the modern conveniences, such as WiFi, and even an elevator. Equipped with three outdoor decks, beach chairs, and linens, an outdoor shower, the home provides a perfect spot for enjoying Bethany Beach without needing to even find the car keys!
The house is accessible, with an elevator, a master bedroom with pocket door and accessible master bathroom shower and sink. Also the top dock provides a nice open view that includes the nearby Atlantic Ocean, welcome to all but especially those who may find accessing the beach in a wheelchair or with a walker challenging.
The house is available in the off season. Photos are available below. (Bethany town taxes will be submitted by the owner between May 1st and September 30th as required by the town and have been included into the rates during these times.) Master bathroom were updated and pavers in the driveway were added in 2024.
Please note, we do not rent to Senior groups, though we wish them hearty congratulations.

Hands Down the best location! If you have kids this is your spot! Easy walk to beach, easy walk downtown , you are in the heart of the town!!
Barbara was super on top of anything we had concerns about and that was great!
We didnt spend much time in the house because the beach was a few steps away and downtown the same!
The house had beatiful views from all levels and balconys.
Lots of toys and games available! Grill was great for a night of cooking out on the deck!!

We had a great time and the house was perfect! So close to the beach and you could walk to town. Barbara was a great host! So easy to communicate with and even sent us home with day lilies from the garden. Would highly recommend for a relaxing week in Bethany !

Balconies ,all 3, were perfect ..one with shade, one with a BBQ & one with a great view.

Excellent location to the beach and the board walk! The 3 decks were also very nice for multiple spaces for a large family. Overall the cleaning was just okay. It looks like it’s been quickly turned over between renters for quite some time and hasn’t had a thorough cleaning in a while. The house itself was very nice but needs new towels and bedding (stains and holes). You also have to wash all towels and bedding before leaving and for such a large house I think that should be communicated up front. We have stayed at a lot of rentals and have never had that as an expectation. Most homes have a second set of linens to take off sight and clean while the alternate renters are there. Despite this we had a great time.

Perfect Location. Good house for adults, newborns and everyone in between.
Very close walk to the shops and beach. Plenty of parking and Barbara & her husband were readily available 24/7 if we needed anything.

We had an amazing stay! The location of the house cannot be beat. We did bring our own sheets to avoid doing laundry the morning of checkout, which worked out well. The kitchen was pretty well stocked and we were surprised by the amount of beach toys, chairs and umbrellas that were made available for us to use. During our stay we were already dreaming of our visit next summer. Would highly recommend to a large group or family!

Really a perfect week. Location can’t be beat. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes and cookware. Hosts were so easy and friendly and shared all the details before our stay so we didn’t have any hiccups. Really nice Outdoor shower was a great help in keeping house clean. Hope we can stay again!

From start to finish Barbara and Alan made everything simple. I can’t say enough about the location, we rarely used the car! Everything was a block away including the beach. The house was spotless and had all the modern amenities. The layout of the house, with decks off 2 of the bedrooms was perfect, there were 5 adults and an 8 month old never heard any noise. The large deck on the front of the house cooled off beautifully for hanging out after dark! It felt like home very comfortable!! There was ample parking under the house. Can’t wait to come back next year!!

Great location and property
We loved our stay at this property. Barbara was great - checking in before during and after our stay. The house is well maintained and appointed with everything you need to be able to relax and enjoy your time in Bethany. We particularly loved the outside shower and proximity to the beach, boardwalk and downtown Bethany.

Great location!!!
We love Bethany Beach and have been going for several years. This house was our favorite due to its close proximity to the beach and town. The owners are extremely accommodating and easy to contact. They truly want you to have a great vacation and are quick to respond to any issues. The house fit our large family and we loved the three outside decks. Lots of parking and a small yard that was great for corn hole! The hvac system was awesome and we stayed very comfortable. We loved the fact that there were separate units for each room/area so we could adjust it based on individual preferences. Lots of beds but not the most comfortable. Overall we really enjoyed our stay.

Fabulous location and great house for families
We were a group ages 6 months to 75 years and the house was fabulous. We were steps from the boardwalk and beach, we had plenty of interior and deck space for lounging at home, and the elevator came in handy when unloading luggage and groceries. We’d definitely recommend the house to families, especially those with older adults.

Summer vacation
Location was great with easy walk to the beach and we love being right in the heart of Bethany- with a close walk in the evening to get ice cream and do a bit of shopping. We really enjoyed 2 evenings of great music venues at the boardwalk bandstand. House was nice and roomy. Loved the front deck with great table and chairs where we ate dinner almost every night and utilized the nice Weber gas grill. Wonderful newly updated outside shower-which our grandkids loved. Owner was very communicative and easy to reach if needed. We loved staying here and will definitely return!

Perfect location
We love this beach house. Perfectly located for parents with little ones. Only a block off the beach, so easy to tote toys, etc to and from the beach. And just a block from town to grab lunch and dinner.

We had a wonderful stay. The house was in a great location. We could walk to everything on the main Street of Bethany. The house was very clean. The owners went out of their way to make sure we knew where everything was and to make us feel comfortable. Perfect getaway!

Wonderful Week!
Our stay at 104 Hollywood was wonderful! The location to the beach and town was perfect, and even though we were so close to town no complaints about noise at all. The deck on the front was perfect for morning coffee and the kitchen was roomy and easy to move around and cook our meals. Appreciated the room darkening curtains and blinds in all the bedrooms. With all that has been happening in the world right now, this is just what we needed! We hope to be back again.

Wonderful location
Very nice house, well equipped, absolutely great location. Cleanliness is a 3 out of 5 at best. Some of the appliances need some attention and the upstairs is very humid but the house overall suited our vacation needs very well. Had a great vacation!!

Wonderful stay!
Last week I stayed at this house with my husband, young children (2 and 4) and my in-laws and we had a great time. The house is in a fantastic location, only about a two minute walk to the beach and to town, so very convenient for a large mixed group like ours. The rooms are quite spacious and each have their own temperature control which was an added bonus. The kitchen is large and well stocked with cookware, bakeware, utensils, etc. The three decks had ample seating so we could enjoy the outdoors and get a nice view of the beach and ocean. There was even an outdoor shower so we could rinse off the sand before coming in. The owners were very responsive whenever we had questions and were quite friendly when I chatted with them on the phone before we arrived. This was our third time staying in Bethany Beach but our first time renting this particular house, and it was by far our favorite compared to the others. Will definitely stay in this house again if we come back to Bethany. Thanks for a lovely time!

Great House; Convenient to Beach and Downtown
Great house and great location. House is in good shape and has all the amenities. Living spaces are ample and comfortable. Bedrooms and baths are very nice. Each room has its own air conditioning control and temperature throughout the house was easy to control. Plenty of parking. The house is close (just a few steps) to the beach and downtown Bethany. We are very satisfied with this house and would definitely rent it again.

Everything we needed for our family vacation
The house was perfect for our family of five. We enjoyed the location right off the beach with lots of activities available nearby--Cape Henlopen State Park, Bethany Beach bike rental, Prime Hook National Wildlife Refuge, Rehobeth Beach, etc. The house had everything we needed. We had a wonderful time!
The house is in a wonderful location, one block from all the shops and restaurants. We took a last minute trip for a long weekend in early April, unfortunately the weather was cold and we saw a few snowflakes! However, we had a great time at some great meals at wonderful restaurants and walks on the beach with our winter parkas on. The house was clean and very comfortable. The owners were wonderful communicating with all our needs. We will definitely be back!

a wonderful home with enough room to relax and enjoy your time in Bethany. We loved that it is only one block to the beach and 2 to the town. A lovely neighborhood for long or short walks. We are looking forward to next year!
