About this house rental
Come join in the fun & sun on Lake LBJ which is a constant level lake so plenty of water for tons of water fun! Located on the Llano arm where the water is wide, deep & warmed by the Rock Slab up river. Everything you need for a fun memorable vacation with family & friends. Our subdivision is a small quiet wooded community where you'll find walkers most mornings enjoying the peaceful tranquility or sit back with a cup of coffee & watch the sunrise glisten over the water with the Mallards & Canadian geese waiting for their breakfast from neighbors, cheap dog food, with corn as main ingredient is their favorite. On occasions you'll get to watch the wake-boarders testing their skills to the limit on the smooth as glass water. We also have our own private boat ramp, location is located in the book by the back door & wooded park with picnic benches & BBQ grills. Our home has a nice covered patio with BBQ grill, covered boat dock with lift for ski boat or jet ski & boat whips for the larger wake board boats. Not a boat person? How about fishing. There's plenty of bass, white bass, perch, catfish, croppie, etc. In the front yard is a huge covered partially enclosed court yard adoring a Tuscany look & feel, with picnic bench, great for large gatherings. Our Hacienda has 2 large living areas, one that faces the water for an awesome view & other has a flat screen TV, Foosball, air hockey, games, etc. The dining room will fit a large crowd or even better, eating out on the covered patio facing the water or in the front courtyard. There's 4 bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths. The master has it own bath & dressing area with additional sink & a king size bed with a great view of the lake. The 2nd bedroom has 2 double beds, 3rd sleeps 6 total with 2 bunk beds & a futon/single bed, & the 4th bedroom has a king & over looks the courtyard. There are 2 fire pits, one down at the water under the covered boat dock, the other in the front courtyard. Wood is provided on the side of the house. There is a book by the back door which has all the Wi-Fi codes, location of the boat ramp & all other question you might have plus brochures for wineries & other fun places to go!
Kingsland is a small community with a grocery store within a mile, 3 delicious Mexican restaurants, what we think is the best BBQ any where around. For a more formal dinning experience, there a restaurant that was featured in the Chain Saw Massacre Movie! Of course, we also have a wonderful restaurant at the golf course which is open to everyone. All this information is included in a book at the home.
We are 20 minutes from Marble Falls, TX, 20 minutes from Buchanan Dam, TX, 20 minutes from Longhorn Caverns, 25 minutes from Llano, TX, 25 minutes from Burnet, TX, 45 minutes from Enchanted Rock, 60 minutes from Fredericksburg, TX, 60 minutes from Austin, TX, 85 minutes from San Antonio, TX, 3 1/2 - 4 hours from Houston and Dallas, TX. Area Attractions: Golf courses, Packsaddle Country Club is 10 minutes away, the Legends Country Club is 5 minutes, Hidden Falls Country Club is 15 minutes, Delaware Springs Country Club is 20 minutes, Horseshoe Bay Resort (3 courses) is 25 minutes, tennis, shopping, and lots of sights to see are all within easy access. Llano County is the 'Deer Capital of Texas'. Obtain a license and take part in seasonal deer and dove hunting. Watch July 4th fireworks from our yard. This lake house is about an hour from Austin's Bergstrom airport, or 80 minutes from San Antonio's International airport, and 25 minutes from Horseshoe Bay Resort.
The fall climate is pure enjoyment and the winter climate is also mild. The winter temperature is usually in the 50-70 degree range. Our 'freeze spells' never last long. This is Texas, we can have a 40 degree day one day & a 70 degree the next! We rarely have snow and it melts quickly. Kingsland is a popular attraction for Winter snow birds, so come on down! Whether it's a weekend, a week, or a month or two, come to the Texas Hill Country and treat yourself and your family (and pets) to a wonderful time on this constant-level lake! With 2849 sq. ft. there's plenty of elbow room.

Great location, it’s the 4th summer we’ve come to the area and we will be coming back. The house was at a very good price point. Getting the access code and the communication was a little challenging. Overall, a very good experience.

The location was great. Very spacious and lots to do for the younger members. They enjoyed the game tables, the kayak and lots of outdoor fun. There were plenty of beds an outdoor spots to sit. We we brought our own pit, son in law picky about ourdoor cooking. Also Rented a boat , lots of fun!

This property worked great for my family. There was plenty of room for everyone. Loved being close enough to the water to be able to sit on the porch and watch the kids and grandkids swim! We will definitely consider it for our next trip! The communication was amazing and all questions were quickly answered. Two thumbs up for sure!!

Thank you so much for opening your home for families to enjoy! The house had plenty of room for our party of 7 including family and guests in addition to our dog. We were able to enjoy many hours on the lake in our boat and return to this fantastic location to relax and enjoy the breeze at night.

Our family spent the Thanksgiving holiday at La Hacienda and it was great. Everything we needed for cooking a large meal was there. The house was comfortable and clean. It rained a lot so we didn’t get as much time by the water as we had hoped but it was still beautiful to look out at everyday. We also enjoyed walking around the neighborhood. Close to grocery store, restaurants and shopping.

The convenience of getting there and gaining entry and enjoying the whole house the boat ramp the river everything was just superb.
House is well stocked with everything you need to cook the meals you want 2 refrigerators with freezers. Is comfortable seating inside and out. A few of us even had races rolling down the hill. We plan on making this an annual family event thank you so much for allowing us to stay in your home

We had three families with mostly young adult children with two under 18. We had a fabulous time on our weekend getaway. The location is perfect for open water entertainment but not too busy. Plenty of room in the home for everyone!

We had a wonderful stay at the hacienda! Beds were comfy, yard and plants were beautiful!! We loved the front patio area. The master bedroom was fantastic! We watched UT ALMOST beat Alabama in the game room. Had lots of wonderful meals at the large dining table with the view of the lake. We would definitely stay again!

Fantastic location, beautiful outdoor areas where everyone hung out. We loved our days on the back patio, huge yard and sitting on the dock. Evenings spent at the front courtyard were so peaceful. There is more than enough room inside for playing games and hanging out. The kitchen and some decor definitely bring back memories of the 70s ❤️ Bedrooms are huge! I can’t say enough about how comfortable & enjoyable the Hacienda was for my family! We will definitely make this our go-to place whenever we spend time on Lake LBJ

Five night family gathering during which everyone made use of large lakeside yard and water sports equipment. We also rented a boat one day from nearby “Splash “ boat rental and got to tube and explore Lake LBJ.
The house was clean and very well equipped. Spent many happy hours on the large rear deck.

The Hacienda had everything we needed for a relaxing weekend with extended family, our college age children, and their friends. There were 4 bedrooms with comfortable beds--one room was bunk beds which would have been more appropriate for kids, rather than young adults! The kitchen was well stocked. It was really helpful to have an extra fridge for drinks in the laundry room. There was a large dining area so we could all visit during meals, and there were smaller seating areas inside and outside. We didn't use the grill or firepit. But we did enjoy floating in the lake with the pool noodles that were provided. We will be back!!

Best Summer 2022 Family Vacation
We really enjoyed the house layout - the location on the Llano was perfect and we had a spot for our boat - pontoon and the neighbor offered us a spot for our Jet Ski !
The house was big enough for 8 adults and a room for 6 teenagers ! Plus it rained one evening and everyone hit the game room ! We will be back !

Family vaca
The location of the property is awesome. Right in the lake and only minutes from town. The air hockey and foosball tables kept the kids busy while it rained a bit. The covered patio is a great place to sit in the evening and enjoy the sunsets.

Spring Break 2022
What a wonderful place for our family to stay during spring break. The view of the lake from the covered back patio was amazing. My college aged children loved using the canoe while my husband fished. (No luck with catching any fish) I loved having a large smart tv in the main bedroom so we could escape the children in the evenings while they played foosball and air hockey. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

It had a musty smell inside house. Online description and photos were out of date. Disappointed we were! Coffee maker did not work! Instructions on bar in kitchen told us to do laundry never seen that before. Broken leg on game table. Do some repairs!

Great Labor Day weekend!
We stayed here last Labor Day weekend and wanted to go back again this year. The house is homey and comfortable and the views of the foot hills at sunset are wonderful!! Communication with Casey was great.

Really enjoyed our time at the lake. House was great. It wasn’t spic n span clean but was alright. Dishwasher didn’t work well at all. We left a note telling them so. Overall it was a great vacation!!!

Hacienda delivers another perfect lake weekend.
My group has now stayed at the Hacienda for 5 straight years for a lake weekend and it always is perfect for our group. Casey is amazing as a host, and the property is just what you need for a relaxing weekend. We spend most of our time on the back patio with the grill and beautiful lawn. Can't wait to be back next year!

Awesome Experience
This was our first time at Lake LBJ and fortunately, we had an awesome experience! The location of the house was the best part, we had immediate access to the lake and could have the boat parked right in front of the house. The kids really enjoyed being in the water off the dock after getting off the boat, and we could see them all the time, which made it very convenient for the adults. We could enjoy ourselves and relax while prepping dinner or seating around looking into the lake either from indoors or the patio. The house is pet friendly which was a must for us, we had our 2 yellow labs and I would say they also enjoyed their stay! Also, very convenient was the grocery store less than 5 minutes away, it's a small HEB where you can find pretty much anything you need or forgot to bring. The house itself is very spacious, AC works great, and had all the towels and kitchen equipment and dishes we needed. Homeowner let us check in early, which we really appreciated as we had been driving for many hours from California and were ready to rest and start our vacation. All in all, we really enjoyed our time! Thank you Casey and Lake LBJ!

Great place for a family reunion
We wanted a central location for family from Arizona, Arkansas and Texas to meet and have a place to visit. The space was perfect. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for all. The river was busier than we thought it would be, but we still enjoyed it. There are a few stairs that one elderly family member had trouble with, but we made it work. My only complaint is the outdoor furniture does not have cushions. Again, we made it work but that was the only thing....everything else was AAA+. Thank you Casey for everything.

Highly recommended Comfy, clean home with character and beautiful views
So many positives! Hacienda preserves the authentic character of the home with international mementos and Spanish architecture throughout. We stayed here for a weekend celebrating our son’s 16th birthday with his friends and our family. The accommodations were Perfect- bunk room for the teen boys, the 2 beds for our college son and his buddy, king guest bedroom for another couple, and the king master for me, my husband and our small dog. The rooms are all spacious and beds comfortable.
The layout of the home is quite functional- the rec room with tv, foozball, and air hockey with adjacent sitting area overlooking the lake. Kitchen with bar made food prep and serving meals convenient. Large dining room accommodated 10 of us comfortably. The entrance courtyard and back patio provided lovely outdoor areas to peacefully read and congregate as a group.
We made good use of the canoe, kayak, grill, stove, and oven. All worked great.
The back yard makes a great place to see the sun set and stargaze. The boys fished and caught a giant fish within 1 hour of arrival. Locally, we had Spykes bbq-amazing- and ventured over to Longhorn Caverns State Park as well as a 2nd story bar overlooking the water. So much fun!
