The place was great, location was perfect. Only thing was the dishwasher ran but didn’t clean any of the dishes. It probably needs replacing.

Clean, plenty of space for our family of 6. Cozy, comfortable. Loved the closeness of the hot tub and pool. Will be back again!

The condo is in a great location within walking distance to store, restaurants etc. We used the pool every day we were there. Condo was a great set up. My kids shared the bunk room and had a blast. Other room with King had a nice Mountain view although bed was a little uncomfortable. House provided plenty of what looked like brand new towels/pool towels. There is a different couch than one in photo. The couch there is super soft and comfortable! The grill was clean. Kitchen stocked. Could use a new toaster. Definitely needs either a repair on the dishwasher or a new one all together. Owner's have done a nice job with the decorations and functionality of it. We plan to come back in the winter time hopefully!

Checking in was super easy and smooth.
Location is great!
We found several things.
1, microwave’s front panes was coming off.
2, there were some trushes under the couch cushion.
3, there were no Kleenex tissues any rooms
4, there were no hangers any bedrooms
5, their wifi was too weak and couldn’t read the email
6, their towels were very old and not white enough.
I know they were washed but we don’t feel those towels were clean.
During our stay, I had to contact with a local rental manager for some reason.
She helped a lot and quickly. We are really appreciate her hospitality. However, both of our neighbors (G145 and G147) were playing music and or watching TV with loud base sounds till late night. That was our huge issue.
We are easy people to make us happy but those noisy neighbors were not acceptable.
We won’t stay this unit anymore even though property manager was super nice.

The location of the listing was perfect for our needs. There is no where in the listing details or photos that tell you there are two sets of very steep stairs. If you are disabled or have difficulty going up and down stairs this is not a good place to stay. I was also disappointed to find the listing dirty and in a state of disrepair. The property manager contacted us but no one came to clean. They offered late check out, I suppose as some sort of compensation, but their cleaner showed up early anyways. Sorry to say but for the price and issues noted before we will be looking elsewhere in the future

The floor was beautiful. No shades on the back side made it really hot. I did realize there were 2 long set of stairs so my my so handicap son had to sleep on the couch. The area around the tv was filthy and lots of dusk. I have COPD so I was concerned about running the fans to try and cool the place down. The silver ware drawer was dirty. The garbage disposal didn’t work when we got there. The noise from the road was an issue. Overall I was very disappointed which had never happened in all the years I’ve been renting from Vacasa. Also Netflix was not available as stated.

Perfect for a mountain getaway! Super close to severe eateries and great hiking. Be aware that the walls are very, very thin, and you can hear your neighbors moving around and playing loud music with thumping base (and we went in the off-season, likely louder during ski season).

This was a perfect spot for our quick weekend get-a-way. We took 4 teenage girls, and the condo was a perfect fit for us. All of the restaurants, coffee shop, ice cream hut, general store and even part of the Adventure Park was within very close walking distance. The pool and hot tub were utilized both days that we were there.

Great location for Government Camp - walking distance to town (easily)
Comfortable condo, well equipped kitchen.

Upon check in the house did not appear to have been vacuumed. There was visible dirt on the entry stairs, living room and bedrooms. While unpacking in the bunk bed rooms I stepped in old dog poop. The living room couch was in desperate need of a cleaning with stains throughout. The living room carpet smelled very strongly of dog urine. The entire house was in need of small repairs and a deep clean. I have never left a poor review at a rental but for the amount charged for the cleaning fee this place should have been kept up more.
The pool key did not work and left us standing in the snow and cold. I contacted Vacasa multiple times and played phone tag the first night. However, they never returned my last call and never responded to the various messages I sent through the VRBO app. I talked to an agent through chat and he told me I would need to submit pictures of the dog poop for them to be able to help me.
Overall, the location can’t be beat, but with a ton of other condos to choose from at Collins Lake I would never stay at this one again and would not recommend anyone else stay here. If you read back through the reviews I am not the only renter to have commented on dog poop being on the furniture and that the unit is in serious need of a deep clean.
Look elsewhere, this unit is not worth it.

Spacious, well-appointed condo, a stone’s throw from ski slopes, tubing. Well-appointed kitchen and super comfy couch by the fire. Ability to unload gear in the garage, out of the weather , was a huge plus. We will be coming back!

This is a great location in walking distance of food and drinks. Place was clean and had the best kitchen in a rental we have seen. Highly recommend to anyone wanting to go up to the mountain for an adventure!

This was a nice little getaway for my family. Condo was well kept and looks newly renovated. Plenty of stuff to make it a home away from home. One thing we wish it had was a baby gate for our toddler for the stairs, but other than that, we enjoyed it.

Overall good but…
We had a very comfortable stay. As a suggestion for the owner. Please clean the stained upholstery, add furniture to put suitcases and possessions on, there’s nowhere to park our stuff. Have an extra blanket for cold nights if you want us to turn down the heat
As I said it was otherwise very comfortable and the kitchen was great!

great space, heart of Govy
The weather was poor, but the townhouse was great. We visited mid-week, nowhere near a holiday in late winter, so the resort and town were pretty empty. With pouring rain and an empty town doesn't sound like a great set-up, but we had a nice stay. The gas fireplace made the main room very cozy.

Close to town and short drive to lifts.
The location of the unit was at the end of the complex and the patio looked out over the road and woods. The couch was very comfy, perfect for dozing while watching TV and enjoying the gas fireplace. The beds in the second bedroom were a little worn out and saggy in the middle. It was super quiet! The dining room table was gorgeous! We were focused on snowboarding, so we did not try the pool or hot tub. Overall, we loved the condo and would stay again.

Extended weekend
Property was as to be expected based on reviews. It fit our needs and location was good. Master bed wasn’t very comfortable and was very noisy. If you toss and turn it is constantly squeaking. The kitchen was missing pot holders and selection on pots and pans wasn’t great but worked. We stayed MLK weekend so the place was busy. Our neighbors were very loud , but I think the walls are thin so not intentional. Due to the weekend being busy it was impossible to stream anything as everyone was bogging it down. I would bring dvd or just watch tv next time.

Ski Trip
Condo was clean. Location was Awesome. Wish the condo was a little better stocked. No filters for coffeemaker, no laundry soap to be found. We were asked to start a load of laundry on our check out but could not due to no soap.. Ceiling started leaking on dining room table from upstairs bathroom on last night's stay. Response from maintainable was very propt. Just a little stressful for last nights stay. Overall condo was nice and stay was pleasant. Weathwr was perfect for two days of skiing!

Clean and well maintained. Great place for after skiing

Nice stay
This Collins Lake condo provided a great base for a fruit loop / fall colors trip with my family. Condo had everything we needed (with the one exception of coffee filters) and the beds were comfortable. We enjoyed the hot tub too!

No regrets
Would gladly stay again! The place was fantastic, spacious, and clean but the best amenity by far was the hot tub in the forest!

Everything was very nice. Upgraded tvs and cookware would make this a 5 star property.

Family fun in Government Camp
You can't beat the location of the Collins Lake Resort, right in the heart of Government Camp. The unit was clean and well stocked. We enjoyed the large table for eating together as a family. A solid value for a fun family stay on Mt Hood.

much good, some not so good
Much enjoyed the close-in Government Camp location. Easy walk to Glade Trail, Mirror Lake Trailhead, and other local activities.
Home has 2 very large bedrooms on top level - very comfortable - slept well - and we could fit two vehicles inside the garage albeit a bit of a squeeze. One bedroom fronts on the state highway, but noise was not a huge issue. The staircases are unusually long - avoid Collins Lake if you have issues with stairs. There was some snow each day of the week, and the HOA efficiently had a plow clearing the road early each morning.
Dog friendly was much appreciated - dog bowls were even supplied. The dog was there only a few of the nights, and Vacasa agents were able to charge me the dog fee only for the nights the dog was there, which was good.
Kitchen equipment was fair-good but certainly not excellent. Amongst the items we missed were pot-holders (if present we did not find them), and large drinking glasses.
Shortly after checking in I called Vacasa to ask that some dish towels be brought over, and that someone fix a broken hot water tap in the half-bath. It took two more phone calls before an apologetic woman brought over some dish towels, and no one showed up all week to work on the faucet. Things like the faucet annoy me because the cleaning crew who prepped the unit must have noticed it, and one would expect that they would have arranged for service as part of the cleanup of the unit. Other items such as the missing wheel on the dishwasher rack might be less obvious.

Needs maintenance
Property is ok, but needs a lot of little issues fixed. Pots and pans in very bad condition, oven smells very badly of propane, couldn't use it. Carpet is stained and needs a lot of touch up painting. Not a place I would want to stay again,

Great location but loud and dirty
The location of this condo was excellent, close to hiking, biking, and all the resorts at Mt Hood it was, however, not clean and the road traffic made it impossible to have the windows open. Without the wo does open it was very hot.

Dirty Dirty Dirty
The cleaning crew for this property is awful. On the morning of arriving, I received a text stating the condo was being cleaned and disinfected and we needed to wait until 4:00 to check-in. When we arrived, my kids and I were appalled at the lack of cleaning, especially during COVID. We ended up purchasing cleaning supplies and cleaned ourselves.
The condo is in desperate need of a deep clean, along with new bedding, while the kitchen lacks organization and many of the basic cooking utensils.
Vacasa was very helpful and understanding, along with a quick response to my situation. It's not their fault for the local cleaning company's lack of care.

Ski Camp getaway
The location to Mt Hood and surrounding trails is superb however the unit was pretty dusty and worn. It appeared to have been sitting for some time and was not cleaned prior to our arrival. The kitchen was stocked with utensils and plenty of towels were available. Beds were reasonably comfortable -

A Perfect Weekend
We had a lovely long weekend and this was the perfect spot. Loved having a garage and we could easily walk to restaurants and shops and skiing was just across the highway.
Clean and well stocked, we will definitely be back. I look forward to coming in the summer.

This home is fine.
Cons:
* Vacasa sent the wrong lockbox code. We sat outside of the rental for over an hour on hold to get the correct code.
* Wifi - did not work. The indicated network name did not exist.
* TV - also did not work. We tried the specific directions in the home's guide.
* Kitchen - Was not stocked as well as it sounded and when we used the oven the downstairs smelled of gas and gave us all headaches.
Pros
* Location - location was great starting point for our day hikes around the mountain.
* Bathrooms - very clean
Overall, the home was fine. Would we stay again? Probably not. Would we suggest to others? Perhaps, if there aren't any better options.

Nice option
Nice place with lots of room compared to other options in Government Camp. Lots and lots of stairs and a little tricky juggling opening and closing garage door and front door manually. Also in unit closest to highway so one-bedroom does get noise. Would stay again.

Great location for a long ski weekend
We loved the unit, centrally located so we were able to walk everywhere. Fully stocked as well which made life easy

Perfect for a ski trip
Clean with everything you need. Coming back to a fireplace after a day of skiing was what made it great.
