About this house rental
Our luxurious mountain retreat has everything you need to pamper yourself, your family and friends! It has location, comfortable furnishings, room to spread out, great bedding, an incredibly stocked kitchen, level access garage, hi-def/smart TVs throughout, high speed internet, a private Jacuzzi to soak your tired happy body, and so much more! And most of all, the owners lovingly pay attention to the details, are friendly and accommodating, always striving to make your vacation special!!
THE HOME
This house sleeps up to eight people with room to spread out. The first floor includes a beautiful open floor plan with kitchen (unbelievably equipped for any gourmet meal prep and with all new appliances in 2022), dining and living area. The master bedroom suite includes a walk-in closet, and a second king bedroom has an adjacent bathroom. Step outside and there’s a private patio with your own Jacuzzi, built-in gas BBQ and firepit.
There’s a spacious two car garage with ski/board racks and room to store all the toys. Clear the cars out and it’s time for some ping pong with our championship all weather table.
Head up to the second floor and you’ll find a wonderful large family room with a 65 inch smart TV, DVDs, pool table, foosball, and stand-up arcade machine with over 4,000 games. There are also two bedrooms, each with two twin beds. A full bathroom completes the scene.
THE NEIGHBORHOOD
Our home is located in the Trapper’s Ridge neighborhood of aptly named Eden, UT. Renting our home gives you and your group access to all our community has to offer, including a beautiful clubhouse, swimming pool, fitness center, tennis / pickleball court, basketball hoop, and walking/ hiking trails.
THE AREA
Conveniently located near some of the best skiing in the world, your vacation retreat is about 10 minutes from Powder Mountain (Ski Magazine’s 2024 #1 Mountain in the West), 20 minutes from incredible Snowbasin Resort (home of the 2002 and 2034 Olympic downhill, and Ski Magazine’s 2025 #1 Mountain in the West), and 7 minutes from Wolf Mountain (family friendly with night skiing) Park City and Little Cottonwood Canyons (Snowbird and Alta) are both an easy 60 min drive away.
But winter is only part of the story. Hiking, mountain biking, golf, road cycling, water sports, motor sports, horseback riding, rafting, tubing or relaxing, whatever your pleasure – Ogden Valley offers it all. You are centrally located. Step onto the hiking trail just outside your back door and enjoy the stunning views of the Ogden Valley and breath the clean air. The golf course is 4 just minutes away and you're about 7 minutes from the Pineview Marina.

Our stay was amazing! Beautiful view from the patio! Kitchen was fully functional so I could prepare multi course dinners! Close to trails! Easy access to a pool with a beautiful view! We will definitely book again!

This house was exactly as described and just what we were looking for. It is the best equipped home we've ever rented. The kitchen is very well stocked with dishes, pots/pans, appliances, spices, condiments, paper goods, etc. There are games, puzzles, a ping pong table, a pool table, and lots more to keep you busy indoors. We really enjoyed the pool and pickleball court both of which are within steps of the house. It was a quick trip to the local beaches. We tried a few different ones and liked them all. Communication with the hosts was excellent! They were helpful and responsive. I would recommend this house to anyone looking for a place to stay in the area.

We loved this house and all its appointments. High quality soaps, dishes, utensils, and fluffy towels. Lots of games, tvs, and separate areas all could enjoy. The outside had comfortable padded chairs, gas fire pit, and nice grill. The back patio was very nicely shaded with views of mountains and some views of the lake. We enjoyed seeing the wild turkeys and deer. There are gravel walking paths going from the house around the subdivision. Although there is a hot tub there we used the large hot tub at the community pool around the corner from the house. The pool was heated very comfortably and size was good at 20’x40’. There was adult swim time from 8am to 11 am which we happily took advantage of. We had a lot of communication with the owner Stacey and found her pleasant, accommodating, and quick to respond. I would highly recommend this property.

The property was perfect for our family. It was close to extended family in Ogden and we were able to connect with everyone. We especially enjoyed the community pool. Nice neighborhood for long walks.

This is a lovely, very clean, very comfortable home in a great neighborhood for walking, relaxing, etc. This is the most appropriately stocked (and not overstocked) VRBO we've stayed in - everything we might need - dishes, serveware cooking pans and utensils, cleaning supplies, spices, extra canned food, sunscreen, etc. We loved our long summer family weekend with pool table, hot tub, grill, fire pit, and enjoyed local hiking. We definitely plan on rebooking, next time during ski season. Thank you!

We were in Eden for my daughter’s wedding at Wolf Creek Resort. This was the perfect home for my family to relax and decompress after all of the activities surrounding the wedding. The home is comfortable and has everything you need for an extended stay. The owners were very responsive and helpful during a short power outage due to construction down in the village. We highly recommend and look forward to our next stay.

Amazing host, great house and incredibly kid friendly! We came in June. We booked the house for 8 of us but only 4 came. It has so many amenities for all ages. The hot tub was used multiple times a day. They have many games for all ages. The beds are comfortable and the pool was a dream with a view of the lake! We will definitely be back.

We were two families with kids 2-12 years old. Great house and great location. WiFi was a little spotty but that was the only issue. The kitchen was better stocked than my own kitchen at home. We stayed for a weekend skiing vacation at Powder Mountain. We honestly couldn't improve a single thing about the property or our hosts. The home was very comfortable, very well appointed, and had lot's to keep everyone entertained when we weren't skiing. An added bonus that we weren't aware of was how close to the mountain we were. Absolutely perfect!!

We took a family Christmas ski trip to Powder Mountain. This home is wonderful and has everything you could need or want on a family vacation. Dave and Stacey were a pleasure as hosts. Just can’t say enough about this home, Eden and Powder Mountain. It’s a beautiful place in winter! The home is very short drive to the grocery, restaurants, ski rental, liquor store and the ski resort. We would definitely go back.

We have stayed here for many years and through a couple of owners. Dave and Stacey are great to work with and they have made some nice upgrades! The view is wonderful, the hot tub always works, the house is clean and well stocked and the beds are comfortable! We will keep coming back for many years.

The house was exactly as advertised and the bonus/game room was awesome. Our kids loved all the entertainment once we were done on the mountain. Also the garage was great - extra high clearance allowed us to park with our Thule box still attached which was an unexpected feature.
The house was fully stocked which was so appreciated. We had some issues with the TV network on the first couple of days but Dave was super quick to respond to fix the issue and then we had no problems for the rest our stay.
Convenient location and easy to get around. Would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others!

We had a group of 8 adults at this property for our stay. The kitchen was fully stocked which was amazing since we stayed on property for our meals. The path behind the property was just steps away allowing us a quick walk to the pool or a walk around the neighborhood. Beautiful views to hang on the patio! The patio furniture has seen lots of traffic over time but it didn't stop us from hanging out or eating meals outside.
The communication with the owners was always quick and responsive. Would definitely recommend.

We loved this house as a family! The beds are so comfortable and lots of space for everyone to stretch out. We played a lot of the games the house had, we loved ticket to ride. The kitchen had all the necessary and extra. My daughter loves that there was some extra spices and apple cider vinegar to add to a salad she makes. The hot tub is hot and has lots of space. The pool area has a beautiful setting to look over and was ver relaxing. We rented a pontoon boat from Club Rec and enjoyed pineview reservoir. My daughter and I roded the ski lift and hiked part of the snow basin. We played pool, football and the arcade game they had upstairs. We loved the Ogden farmers market. Check out the Smith and Edwards store, it has something for everyone. This house is close to everything. Per the owner recommendation, we went to Timbermine steak house which is charming and delicious. Enjoyed a seafood boil at Boat Haus. It was also nice to park in the garage, which would be great for the winter.

But my goodness - the neighborhood trails and views!!! The hiking right outside the door is worth booking alone. We spent two weeks here and spent a lot of time in the outdoors but truly, the trails right outside the house were the best. Perfect for kids - my 3 and 5 year old loved "climbing up the mountain" and I loved that we could turn around easily if needed. I'll miss staying here!

The home is located just steps away from the club house pool and hot tub as well as the pickleball/tennis court.
The home is filled with plenty of activities to do from pool table, movies, arcade games and a fire pit.
The layout of the home made it feel roomy from preparing meals and eating to hanging out as a group in the living room or family room to the bedrooms and bathrooms. Parking was also spacious and easy.
The home was great and the surroundings were beyond beautiful! We felt like we were in Austria with the snow capped mountains, lush green rolling hills, amazing views and flowers. We took advantage of that with lots of bike rides and walks.

From the moment we booked this lodge to the time we left, the owners were helpful and communicative, and we were blown away when we arrived by the standard of the accommodation. All of the rooms were well-proportioned, spotlessly clean and well-equipped. The games room was an instant hit with all the men in the family, and the outside area with the hot tub was a perfect place to sit out on an evening to watch the sunset over the mountains. This has been, by far, the best place I have ever stayed whilst on holiday and I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

The House - Beautiful house, tastefully decorated with more than ample room for our family and Thanksgiving dinner. Our group was made up of my wife and I, 82-year-old mother-in-law, son, his wife and their 9 month old son. The 2 bedrooms on the main/ground level were perfect for my wife and I and mother-in-law (no stairs for the 82-year-old). The second floor worked out great for my son’s family. In addition to the 2 bedrooms and den, there is a large family area that will keep you busy with all that it offers (TV, pool table, video arcade game and countless other games).
The Kitchen - I was a bit apprehensive not knowing what I would/wouldn't actually have at my disposal to prepare an entire Thanksgiving dinner. The description states - "unbelievably equipped for any gourmet meal prep and with all new appliances in 2022" BELIEVE IT! A complete Thanksgiving dinner for was prepared and devoured without the need of any additonal equipment. the island prep area was spacious, and all appliances were new. Thanks to their choice of microwave, It has been strongly suggested that I will be purchasing one for our home... Comfortable beds and furnishing throughout the home.
The Neighborhood - peaceful and friendly with beautiful views of the surrounding area. The clubhouse is located 1 block away and provides additonal options to enjoy. There are walking trails throughout the entire neighborhood with gentle elevation changes.
The Other - We brought our 2 pups, JD and Kevin who had fun on our walks sniffing out deer, rabbits and whatever other wildlife traversed the area. They came face to face with 3 deer and didn't know what to make of them.
The BBQ and Jacuzzi are also recent and updated - I love to grill and used it one night for dinner. The jacuzzi was relaxing after a Thanksgiving Day.
Our family truly enjoyed and loved our stay at Stacey and Dave's mountain home and recommend it to all.

Do not hesitate to book this property! So clean, such a beautiful neighborhood with walking paths where the deer freely roam. Beautiful sunsets and sunrises. Such a nice clubhouse and pool a short walk down the path, pickle ball also a short walk away. We had a wonderful family getaway. The hot tub in the back yard was a big hit with everyone as was the pool table in the family room. We also appreciated all the games available to us. This place cannot be beat. Great communication and such helpful owner’s as well. My only suggestion would be a updated tv in the main master bedroom, but there were plenty of other places to have movie nights, so it wasn’t a big deal. There was plenty of room for everyone and we had a great time! We will be coming back! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Thank you for a relaxing and fun stay! The house was perfect for our group and the neighborhood was beautiful and quiet. We had the community pool and the pickle ball court to ourselves and the views are amazing! A nest of wild turkeys hatched out by the house! The upstairs got a little warm and there were some wasp nests on the front of the house but we would definitely stay again and tell others about it! Thank you!
