This is our fourth stay in an oceanfront condo at this resort. We loved the location and the view was amazing. However, the carpets were wet and stayed damp for days. This produced a musty smell. Every other condo we have rented here had beach chairs and a cooler available for us to use. This unit did not. Beyond basic pantry items, salt and pepper only. No tin foil, plastic baggies etc. we own and rent several properties and our renters always rave about the extra touches we provide. For the increased price, I expected a little more.

We spent 8 days in Kauai and 2 weeks in Maui. This condo is perfectly appointed, a/c works well, it smells and is clean and the view of the rising sun every morning is beyond compare. Grocery stores, restaurants, and other needs are within walking distance but you don't realize that when you are in the front of the property on the beach. We would stay again and have suggested this property to friends.

The condo was beautiful, clean and had everything we needed. We loved sitting on the lanai overlooking the ocean. The location was perfect with shopping center across the street where we can get everything we needed. Our grandson really enjoyed the pool area, especially the slides.

Beautiful And Big!
This was our first stay in Kapaa. Both the resort and our condo are gorgeous. The condo is very spacious and comfortable. Our view of the ocean and shoreline was equally beautiful. The beds were very comfortable and for the most part we had everything we needed. The only thing we missed were some lounge chairs on the lanai instead of just dining chairs. Kapaa is a good central location from which to see the island. There’s a busy intersection in front of the resort, but once you’re through that it’s easy to get anywhere. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Beautiful resort with stunning views of the ocean
The condo is spectacular with top of the line amenities and the resort atmosphere is perfect for a relaxing time in paradise. The on-site restaurant, Oasis, was fantastic and one of the best dinners we had in Kauai. The whole rental process was very smooth and the hosts were very attentive to ensure we were satisfied. Great location to be mid-point between Princeville and Poipu, and short drive to the airport. Walking distance to restaurants and shopping. Definitely recommend this property for a Kauai trip by couples or for a family.

We loved this vacation rental - you couldn't ask for a better view you are as close to the ocean as you can get but the balcony was very private. Bring your binoculars as you can see the whales from your balcony - we did a lot of whale watching during our stay but it was right from our balcony here that I saw my only full breach. The pool was great and they have several hot tubs. The condo itself was beautiful and well stocked - plenty of pots and pans and the beds were comfy and good instructions were provided in advance on how to get there and work the appliances (they even provided laundry soap and dish soap). We would love to come back again for a longer stay!

Everything was smooth and efficient in dealing with Kauai Exclusive thank you! We only have two complaints about the resort room. 1) We killed 2 cockroaches in the bathroom (yuk..) 2) there were no curtains in the living room which faces east. This made it very difficult to sit in that room during the morning hours (too bright and warm). At night there was no privacy. Other than those 2 items we loved our stay.

This was the perfect place to stay!! You are right between the north end and sound end of the island. The place was very clean, the views are to die for and the amenities were perfect!! Highly recommend!

Waipouli Beach Resort A306
Very nice overall. Great location. A few things to check for the future guests;
Some Sink handles Fixtures in bathrooms were stuck and not operable.
Second bath Toilet flapper, refill was not working all of the time. Looks like it needs to be replaced soon.
Second bedroom light switches didn’t work.
Some towels were soiled. We washed them all.
Sheets in master were not clean looking and old. We went to Ross and bought new sheets to use.
Now all of that said, we appreciated the condo and loved the property. Just needs some attention with things that make the stay exceptional.
Also Elevator in building A had trouble and was Broken on our last day. Maintenance came and fixed quickly but difficult day to have elevator go down.

Waipouli Beach Resort is perfectly located between the north and south sides of the island and except during high traffic times on the main highway, it’s a quick drive to anywhere on the island. A306 had an amazing view of the beach and ocean from all three balconies. It was so clean, and being able to cook (or grill at the pool), make your own coffee to enjoy as the sun rises, and do laundry when we needed was great. There’s a Safeway and a Starbucks across the street, which was also perfect. Two things to note: A306 only has a king bed and queen bed, and then a fold-out couch in the living room. The living room does not have window coverings, so whoever has to sleep on the fold-out will have full sun as soon as it starts to rise. Not a bad thing if you’re an early riser! The pool is always a plus, but so is being right on the beach. And the resort places long lounge chairs along the beach in front of the resort for all to enjoy. Be sure to grab fresh, delicious food at the Oasis bar and restaurant. The service there is also outstanding. Can’t wait to go back for visit number three. Mahalo, WBR ohana, and ahui hou!

We have stayed at the Waiapouli Beach Resort condos four times now. Building A is the best! Great oceanfront views from every room. The pools are beautiful and the property is well maintained. This is the best condo in Kapaa! Kapaa is also very centrally located between Poipu and Princeville so it's easy to get anywhere you want to go. This is home away from home!

This condo was beautifully decorated and maintained. Other than the fact that one bedroom had a king size bed and the other a queen, the were both worthy of being master suites. This was our second time staying at this resort. First time, diffferent condo, had a huge welcome basket, wine, cheese, crackers, coffee, chocolates, macadamia nuts, etc. this time.....nothing. Not even a welcome card. Very disappointing. This condo was dated. Chair in living room had a broken cushion, beach amenities were less than what we got in last cooler, no umbrella. Beach chairs were not Tommy Bahama. View was beautiful, but that was the only thing that made this a good place. Pool seemed cold, not heated. Just disappointed when compared to our last stay 2 years ago. I give this resort a 5 star rating overall, but this particular condo a 3

The room was perfect, I have nothing negative to say about it...except I wish I could have stayed longer and I can't wait to go back again! The beds and pillows were so comfortable, which I think is hard to find in most places. The location and ocean view was spectacular. The pool was great, love the layout and water slides were a big hit. The management company was so accommodating and responsive, which was great. One of the best places we have ever stayed at!
