Sonoma Creek Cottage is located in the heart of the Sonoma Wine Country.
This private & gated two bedroom, one bath home is an exact five minutes' drive to either town of Glen Ellen or Kenwood.
The Space:
Landscaped with care, this property offers an away-from-it-all serenity with breathtaking gardens and desired amenities.
Enjoy the outdoors with a dip in the private, solar heated pool or relax in the new, spa-like six person hot tub right next to the outdoor shower with waterfall and body jets. With creek access by way of a flight of stairs, you may choose to explore, or you may prefer to sit on the wrap around deck while listening to the year round babbling of the waters below. The homeowners have planted hundreds of daffodils and tulips as well as roses, iris, and wisteria.
The open and light-filled floorplan will be your home away from home. The tastefully decorated living room is equipped with a gas fireplace. The dining area and kitchen are wrapped by French doors with retractable screens. These open onto the lovely wrap around deck with views and sounds of the creek, woods and flower gardens. There is also a gas barbecue on the deck just off the kitchen and ample seating.
The master bedroom is equipped with a queen-sized bed. The second bedroom offers a full-sized bed and french doors leading to the hot tub and outdoor shower. The sofa in the living room offers an additional sleeping space by converting to a double-sized bed. The freshly remodeled bathroom has a pedestal-style, marble sink and a soaking tub & shower overlooking the creek and woods.
Whether you are one or two couples traveling together or a small family Sonoma Creek Cottage is beyond exceptional.

Two really impactful problems affected our stay. First, the pool was not operational. It was very dirty and there wasn't enough water in it for the recirculating pump to operate. By the third day I got the pump to work, but never was able to get in the pool, a major reason we rented the property.
Worse, our son joined us for two nights and used the fold-out couch. On the couch was a mattress pad covered in blood spots. Looked like a bedbug problem in the past. We didn't find any bedbugs, but my son ended up sleeping in a chair.
Pretty disappointing. Other than these two problems, the property was really nice.

The beauty of the flowers, sound of the creek, and surrounding wildlife made our stay at this cottage amazing. This is a perfect setting to unwind at the end of the day. I would definitely come back.

We stay in VRBOs often and this was by far the best. It had everything we could possibly need. Most well appointed kitchen in any vrbo ever, bug spray, flashlights, spa robes, comfy beds, everything!! The property is beautiful and private, the pool and hot tub were fabulous, we had a great time in wine country but we could have never left the house and still had a great time! The welcome was so thoughtful and sweet! I can not say enough great things about this place! We are looking forward to our next stay and sending all our friends and family.

I cannot say enough about this property. From the beautiful foliage to the very comfy home to the beautiful creek and the welcome basket. It is so private there you feel like you’re on your own private retreat I rent houses all over the country, and this is by far one of the very best I’ve ever rented. we had the most amazing time. so close to Glen, Ellen, and that wonderful store in Glen Ellen is so close. So close to Kenwood. We had a girls trip and nowwe are going to stay here we think annually. Thank you so much for opening your home to us and sharing this beautiful place.

Four of us stayed at the property for a few days so we could enjoy wineries in Sonoma and then Napa.
The property was very quiet and enjoyable. We didn't use the pool but we did enjoy the hot tub.
Personally we wouldn't recommend having 6 in the house; we were very comfortable with the four of us but it would have felt crowded if there had been 6.
The sofa couch was comfortable, as were the beds. The bathroom was clean and well stocked. The kitchen was also well stocked and the welcome basket was very sweet!
We would absolutely stay again and recommend others to stay as well.

Beautiful property with great location and pool. Wish the shower head were replaced or new. Some of the furniture was dated but very comfortable. The host had everything we needed. Would stay again. Just wish the bathroom had walk in shower instead of tub

Nice cottage by the river. Very relaxing stay with thoughtful welcome basket full of treats and wine. Hot tub by the river was wonderful. Pool is not heated so really too cold to swim in at our time of visit in March. Nice to have a Washer and dryer too. Literally the only issue was that a couple of kitchen items were dirty but we just washed them so not a big deal. Would recommend if visiting the area

I highly recommend this property. It’s centrally located near restaurants, wineries, has a pool and a jacuzzi! Who could ask for anything more?

This was a perfect place for a getaway to Sonoma. The hosts provided everything we needed and this cozy home is in a great location to enjoy Sonoma/Napa. Hiking, dining, and of course, wine tasting, are all options from this cottage.

This was a great place to come back to after spending the day out sightseeing. There are lots of great outdoor spaces. We were greeted with a welcome basket which was a great way to start of our trip! Packed clothes for going out on a morning jog, but the roads are a bit more rural (narrow & curvy) than I would feel comfortable running on.

The cottage is so sweet and perfectly appointed for a peaceful getaway. We enjoyed evenings on the porch, until we got cold - then we warmed up by the fire. The pool was awesome when it got too hot. Lovely grounds with spectacular visitors: deer, hummingbirds, turkeys, and all sorts of birds. We will definitely be back.

The property is very private and peaceful. We saw a deer on the property one day. It is sunny and bright and has all the amenities you need, including everything you need if you decide to stay in and cook a meal.

I’ve rented many places and this cute cottage has been the best! You instantly feel cozy like it’s your home. Was so hard to leave we stayed another night! A must is to drink your morning coffee on the deck to listen to the river while waking up. We will for sure be back!

We were blessed with beautiful weather (for the pool and hot tub) and with an abundance of wild life including two deer, two llamas across the street, bunnies, quail and more! Weekend in Wine Country
We had a great stay at this property in Glen Ellen. The location was a great setting for 2 couples. The property was clean and had all amenities needed. Hot tub was very nice, with outdoor shower to rinse off. The pool was refreshing. Beds were comfortable. Very nice to come back to after our daily adventures.

Tranquil Cottage Retreat
This little house and pool was very secluded, peaceful and the perfect location to celebrate our daughter's Graduation. The gate home felt like a secluded sanctuary. The jacuzzi was awesome off the deck. The pool had debris and bugs but is expected with the lush surroundings. A little skimming did the trick. Welcome note and treats were a wonderful touch. Great location to access all of the wineries in the area. The sounds of the creek were the perfect with my coffee. Great, unique property and wonderful management.

Private & Quiet
A very nice, clean, and well-equipped property. The welcome basket was a real treat! We enjoyed the different sitting areas throughout the property as well as the deck for morning coffee! Listening to the creek was lovely and seeing the many bird species that live in the area.
The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen had absolutely everything you would need...including nice olive oil and spices.
We will come back, for sure!
