This property is beautiful and spacious! There were 6 of us staying for a long weekend and we had so much space. The yard is amazing, with a cute little walking trail, lots of seating, and even a hourseshoe pit.

Lovely mount hood cabin. Large enough for our whole family to be very comfortable. WiFi is great for watching football! Love the secluded feel and great atmosphere to relax.

I first saw this place featured on a Netflix show. Was thrilled it was available when we wanted to visit. Tons of space so no one felt crowded. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking amenities. Did not see the ping pong table in the garage until the last day when we were looking for the garbage cans. The hot tub did not disappoint. We did two puzzles and some pieces were missing but that is a common thing with sharing puzzles. The trees were majestic. The sun came through the windows like they were beckoned to do so. Was really nice to have laundry capabilities. Some cleaning supplies were running low but we managed. Would highly recommend!!

This listening didn’t do this house justice. It was more beautiful than we expected. It was large and had all the amenities that we needed for a perfect short getaway. Will definitely be remembering this house and booking again in the future.

I had lots of questions before we arrived and they were all answered quickly. Once we arrived we were in awe at how nice this house is. Lots of room to spread out. When you deadbolt the door leading out to the deck, you need to get a little pressure on the bottom of the door to seat it right. That's the worst thing we found. Overall we were very happy here. Unlike other places we've stayed, there truly was privacy to be had.

I love this house! My only recommendation would be to have a working air conditioner. There was a heat wave in Oregon when we were there. Fans helped but they need an air conditioner. Also I think one more table and patio chairs as well as loungers would be great. Otherwise it’s perfect!

We were a large group celebrating a birthday in Mt. Hood. We planned lots of hiking, white water rafting and other types of adventures. The property was accurate, although sleeping 12 adults was ambitious - it fit 10 comfortably (4 bedrooms and a loft). The location was very convenient to hiking and other things in the Mt. Hood area. It was close to highway 26 but secluded enough to forget you were conveniently located. The amenities were fantastic! The kitchen was fully stocked and had plenty of space for group dinners. The property was clean and well maintained. Nearby there were restaurants and breweries - we weren't for want of anything to do/eat. I would happily recommend this property.

My family and I had a great week at the lodge! The kitchen was huge and made it easy to cook large meals for everybody. Everybody enjoyed the hot tub after our hikes. There seemed to be some issues with locking the exterior doors but we weren't too concerned about it based on the location. All in all a great stay and I would for sure go back!

We took this vacation with our two grown daughters and our sister-in-law, and all of us were in Heaven with this lovely place, we were awed by all of the space, the unique features inside and out. the setting in the woods, the hot tub, the kitchen and dining areas, and we could go on and on! Each bathroom has distinctive baths. The rooms are more than large, with walk in closets, two office areas, and we loved the sauna and hot tub. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything you need for a group, and we found delicious food at restaurants very close by, if you don't want to cook. For the five of us, we didn't even use the 3rd floor bedroom with two beds in it, and if more room is needed, the living room sofas fold out. The beds were oh so comfy! Each of us were very sad to leave! We have already recommended it to friends! This was more expensive than we have done before, but it was well worth it and it is fit for a crowd!

TL;DR: theres good reason everyone says they plan to book again!
We had 4 families w kids under 5, and we had more than enough room, which is saying something!
Of course the place wasnt kid-proofed but thats a given in most places. They kindly went the extra mile to get us a pack'n'play for a family flying in.
Directions were spot-on once given to us which is helpful because it is not easily map-able. However, my one critique is that they wouldn't give us any address or location- even when asked and explained why we needed it- until I arrived at the office to get keys. That came without explanation from them, which I'm sure was a good one, but it didnt help the families coming separately from PDX at all, so that was weird. Once at the office, my reception was kind and warm--- great folks (and cute dogs)!
Although their trash and hot tub policies are onerous, they made us reassured that the tub was in top condition and we were happy to do our part in its upkeep.
My friends all starting planning our 'next trip' there before we'd even left. Thanks for having us!

We had a group of friends gather for the weekend and this beautiful property. We soaked in the hot tub, went on hikes, played ping pong, lit a fire and roasted s’mores. We cooked beautiful meals in the kitchen of our dreams, sipped coffee while staring at the beautiful forest out of that two story window. There was so much character and unique detail to this home, I’m confident I didn’t catch everything. I’d come back again for sure!

What a great escape we had at Forrest Lodge! The house was so roomy - the kitchen was epic. Lots of counter space and room for all the cooks! Hot tub was huge, and the sauna...hot, hot, hot. We were there for 4 nights and it wasn't long enough! The only thing I could say as a negative was the red leather couch needs to go. It has served its purpose for too long. We have already booked this house again...can't wait!

Forrest Lodge is the place to stay at Mt Hood, Oregon! It's perfect for relaxing and very clean. I love how secluded and private but is yet still close to all the restaurants and Mt. Hood activities. The house is absolutely amazing and we loved the hot tub, decor and luxurious kitchen!!! The place stands out above the rest. So many features we enjoyed, sauna, the trails, double shower, horse shoe pit, star gazing, and all the incredible architectural features the house has. This place is definitely a "Don't Miss!! "

From booking, check in to departure everything was smooth as can be. This is our 2nd time staying in this home. First time in over 2 years we were able to have all our children & grandchildren together. Had fun cooking meals in the spacious kitchen & plenty of trim for all to eat in the dining room. The kids had fun walking around the property, playing horseshoes & hanging with the bear (the wooden one 😉). Relaxing in the hot tub at the end of the day was delightful. We’ll. This house is beautiful and amazing!! If I had to give any suggestions, it might be that I wish the large gate at the entrance was open so it was easier to unload everything into the house! Other than that, we would definitely recommend this beautiful property! ❤️

This property was perfect for our multi family vacation. The house was laid out perfectly so that each family had their own area including bathroom, and the main living areas were large enough for the whole group (dining table seats 10, kitchen island seats 3) Tons of seating outside. We enjoyed the new hot tub and the ping pong table. The AC didn't keep up well so the loft and upstairs bedroom were a little warm, however there were plenty of fans. This was a wonderful clean rental with a well appointed kitchen perfect for cooking for a large group. Bring your own knives if you want to cut anything harder than butter! Would certainly recommend!

The house and property were lovely. The only complaint was that the outside needed a little love, it had lots of spider webs. The first time we came was shortly after the Netflix show aired. It was gorgeous. This second time felt a little less put together. And AC was not working well during their heat wave but lots of fans were provided and appreciated!! Overall still loved it and will definitely be back to the exact same house! Also the reservation team was amazing. Super nice every time we called to ask questions. So helpful and sweet to us! Perfect for a family gathering
We stayed here as a whole family to celebrate a special event and it was perfect. The house is HUGE and so well appointed and gorgeous in many ways. We were a family with a toddler and we were so comfortable. The grounds are lovely to explore and our toddler loved the space to move around and see the wood carvings outside. The kitchen was one of the best features, perfect for preparing meals for 9 people. I would highly recommend it to anyone who needs some peace and quiet but enough space to gather.

magical mountain retreat
Forrest Lodge is a beautiful residence in a beautiful spot - the perfect place for a quintessentially Pacific Northwest experience. The house was very clean and comfortable. There were a few maintenance issues - a running toilet, a broken screen door, broken trash compactor, broken master bedroom fireplace and broken hot tub. We were not advised about the broken hot tub until the day before the stay, which was a disappointment to us.
Overall, it is a special house in a great location to enjoy all Mt Hood has to offer. I would gladly rent the cabin again, but if the hot tub is important to you, I'd suggest clarifying its functionality before you commit, as the managers will not give any rental discount for all the amenities that were advertised but were not working during our stay.

Breathtaking and relaxing
This cabin is absolutely stunning! We had the best weekend enjoying all it had to offer and in the magical setting it was in. When can you take a trail hike around your very own property? The stars at night were so incredible and the kitchen made us want to cook every single meal because it was so beautiful and filled with every amenity. Highly recommend!
