The PS Downtown Condo is the perfect cosmopolitan get-away for a couple or single person. A mid-century modern in downtown Palm Springs. This condominium features a beautifully landscaped courtyard pool and spa area amidst breathtaking mountain views, surrounded by the unique architecture of this magnificent gem built in the 1960s. Legend has it that Frank Sinatra and members of the Kennedy clan have vacationed at this hip and swanky Palm Springs address, with The Movie Colony nearby. It is fully furnished with designer black leather and chrome, mid-century/modern furniture. The elegant dining area can easily accommodate six or up to eight diners, with a large bar/serving area alongside. The television is a 42” Plasma HDTV with a home theater that includes an internet-connected Blu-ray player. The bedroom features a queen-size bed, and the full-size convertible futon sofa is in the living room. Guests with laptop computers will enjoy free high-speed wireless internet access and printer. The immense pool and 12-person spa are surrounded by an expansive deck, with chaises lounges, tables and chairs. The relatively few number of guests poolside at any given time make for quiet, tranquil basking in the sun and cooling off in the water. Adjacent to the pool area are a built-in gas grilling area, laundry room, workout room with cardio-equipment and weights, and men and women’s saunas. Please enjoy smoking outside only. Leave your car in your reserved, secure subterranean parking space, and take the elevator directly to your unit. A block away, you’ll find first class shopping boutiques and fine dining along dynamic Palm Canyon Drive. Stroll two blocks South and you’re at the front door of the new Palm Springs Spa Casino. Two blocks further East of the Spa Casino situates you at the Palm Springs Convention Center. Tennis courts are usually available at Ruth Hardy Park, just a few blocks away. The aerial tram to the top of Mount San Jacinto, the Agua Caliente Casino, hiking and rock climbing in Joshua Tree National Park, and world-class golf courses are just minutes away by car. I throughly enjoyed my stay. Easy walking distance to Resturant’s, coffee shops, museums, parks, groceries, and retail shops. My host met me ahead of checkin time and escorted me through the building, pointing out the garage parking spot, laundry, beautiful pool and hot tub, workout room, mailboxes. The couple of Times I had to contact him, he promptly answered and dealt with the issue promptly.

Great location, well equipped kitchen, nice big glass dining room table. The building is a classic Mid Century with a pool and hot tub in the middle. Great sunrises from the east facing windows.

Very helpful, pleasant host. Attractive condo with everything you need. Loved the mid century, modern design. It was ok not to have a balcony. Pool was great. Loved the location, downtown, close to everything or within walking distance. Some traffic noise but we used ear plugs and got used to it. Appreciate being able to bring our little dog and walks in the Movie Colony area and Ruth Hardy Park every day were most enjoyable. I should have given a 5 on the cleanliness. Just some dust accumulating from traffic and some vacant lots. Thank you John. Loved your place and thankyou for being so helpful to us.

Had everything we needed !! Linens were a little old !! A lot of dust from remodeling of other condos . For some reason we thought it had a patio (our fault) !! Our part of the complex needed an update !! Over all we had a great time !!

We enjoyed our stay in this unit very much. Lots of room and amenities for two people. Nice hot tub and pool area. Nice walking distance to restaurants and shops. Will stay agsin if the opportunity arises.

Location was excellent!! We were in the middle of downtown Palm springs where it all happens. Safe underground parking and a very nice pool with courtyard. Laundry facilities were not in suite but easy access downstairs. Property owner was very nice and quite professional. It was sad we had to leave early with the threat of Covid19. Thanks again VRBO

We were here for 21 days while I had back surgery and this place was perfect. John was a wonderful host, even met us at the place and helped us unload everything.. He was always responsive to our every need.

John was very easy to work with and as accommodating as possible since he was in Hawaii almost the entire month. The location is great, but there is little soundproofing; so the VERY busy street noise seems like it's coming right thru the bedroom. Very hard to get a good night's sleep. There also were a number of maintenance issues that John said had not been previously reported, but were very obvious if he had done an inspection prior to my arrival. Lastly, the apartment was only marginally clean when I arrived. I will not stay here again.
