Central location, quiet neighborhood and just plain fun! Located between BYU & UVU next to University Place Mall. Perfect for visiting your college students, sports camp/EFY, Education Week, skiing...
This is the basement apartment of a home in a quiet, central forget how close you are to everything you came to visit in Utah Valley. Walk to University Place/Costco for shopping, restaurants, a park and movies. BYU and UVU events are just 5 to 10 minutes by car. (There is a private gate from the neighborhood to the mall).
In the first bedroom is a queen bed & in the second bedroom is a set of a bunk beds with a full size mattress that pulls out to sleep five comfortably in the bedrooms. The kitchen is full size and includes everything you need when you get tired of restaurant food: full size oven, microwave, toaster, mixer, crockpot, electric fry pan. Utensils, plates and dishes are also provided.
We doubt you'll want to spend much time laying around watching TV but when you do there is a 40" TV and a DVD player. The TV includes Roku which will give you access to your Netflix, Hulu and other accounts. Fast wifi is also available.
You have off-street, designated parking for the apartment . The entrance is on the right side when facing the home. Please do not park in front of neighbors homes, enjoy your private space off the street. There is also a fenced backyard with a slate stone patio and plenty of grass. Guests are welcome to enjoy the yard.
Though the neighborhood is next to University Place Mall, there is no vehicle access from the neighborhood to the mall so there is limited traffic and noise. A pedestrian path to the mall makes walking access quick and safe.
The Utah Transit Authority's Mt. Timpanogas Transit Center is conveniently located within easy walking distance at the mall. From the transit center a bus can be taken to the Orem Front Runner station to Salt Lake City. During ski season, the bus to Sundance also stops at the transit center.

This was an extended stay for us and it was terrific!! Highly recommend staying here. We hope to rent from them again. There was not one thing we needed during our extended stay that wasn’t already available. We cooked multiple meals, including barbecued. Everything was as advertised and better than expected! The owner was great to communicate with and super responsive. Location was great and easy access to everything you might need. This is a true gem in Orem!

My wife was a little nervous when I told her it was a basement apartment, but wow were we surprised! This place is immaculate! The inside is entirely renovated and beautiful. Beds were extremely comfortable and the Mickey Mouse diner themed kitchen was adorable. Price was very reasonable and we were very happy. We will definitely be staying here again for future trips to Provo /Orem.

We loved this property! Perfect basement suite for our family of 4. Our kids loved the bunk beds and we loved not all being crammed into one room. We could not have asked for a better location. Everything was close! Communication with host was easy, check in was a breeze. We were grateful for off road parking. Quite neighbourhood, and cozy little suite. Kitchen was stocked with all supplies we need and the bathroom had toiletries for our short stay. We will definitely book this place again!!

It was a really cute basement apartment that had plenty of nice beds and an extra mattress for all 5 of us. The decor was lovely and the kitchen was well stocked and even had extra stuff you don't get at a resort condo! The neighborhood was convenient for getting to places both North and South in the valley. SO much better than a hotel and less expensive too (especially for 5 of us!).

Felt like part of the family
This was a nice little place to stay while attending an event at BYU. The location was convenient. I liked the extra little touches where they had framed original blueprints on the wall from when the house was built, along with some history of the home and people who have lived there. There were plenty of beds to sleep 5, plus 1 or 2 more on the couch / love seat. The only negatives for me were only having one bathroom and no dishwasher, but the other positives outweighed those. I will likely stay here again when I'm back in the area.

Great selection of small kitchen appliances to meet our needs and more. Washer & Dryer as well. Stocked with generous supplies for a short stay or to get you well on your way with a long stay (paper towels, dish soap, laundry detergent, shampoo/conditioner). We always appreciate VRBO rentals that allow the accumulation of basic spices, etc from past guests, which seemed to be the case at this location. No ziplock bags, foil, etc which is not a complaint just an observation for future guests. We were very happy with our stay.

Wonderful place, perfect location
This was the second time my family and I have stayed at this property. We enjoyed ourselves so much the first time, we knew we wanted to come back. The unit is very clean, has amazingly comfortable beds, a well-stocked kitchen, and even a washer and dryer. The owners are very thoughtful and have really thought of everything to ensure you will have a pleasant experience. Communication with them was excellent. You are close to BYU and UVU campuses, as well as shopping centers, restaurants and grocery stores. Even though you are close to everything, the street is very quiet and we were able to really relax here. Thanks again for a wonderful stay! We will be back again :)

Perfect little getaway
We really enjoyed the stay here. The apartment is cozy and well stocked, the beds were really comfortable and it’s central to so many fun things. Scera park and plunge, classic family fun center, shopping... everything was close. The host was very responsive and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

Cute and clean vrbo!
This VRBO provided plenty of room for my family of 4-5 to spread out and relax. The owners thought of everything we may have needed. The mattresses and bedding were so comfortable and the TV has Roku giving us access to our own NETFLIX and other accounts. The apartment was very clean, airy, and even provided a washer and dryer. The neighborhood is pleasant and not too far from major stores. We will definitely will stay here again.

Quaint basement apartment
Great location, the owners are exceptionally responsive/communicative. This unit is clean, comfortable, and well-stocked for an extended stay. Though I was by myself this trip, it would be good place to stay with a small family / a few kids. So nice to have a good washer and dryer, and to have an off-street parking spot. The only downsides are that there's no dishwasher and the wifi router is upstairs in the other unit (so if it needs to be reset you have to text and ask). Overall, this is an excellent property at a reasonable price and I would recommend it for your travels in this area.

The appartment was really nice and clean. It was close to Sprouts (a supermarket) and to the center which I went to for a week and a half. When we missed a kettle Kristin made sure we got one. She was very friendly and also speeks Dutch.

Great Experience
This lovely basement apartment fit our needs beautifully. Kristin provided everything. Bathroom had soap, shampoo, conditioner, hair dryer, first aid kit, hair spray, room freshener, even soap for sensitive skin and lovely plush towels . The kitchen was equipped with every pot, pan, and utensils. There was an apron too. It was set up to accommodate children and adults. Disney theme plastic dishes and bowls as well as a high chair if needed. Pottery dishes and cups for adults .There was also a Mickey Mouse waffle/pancake maker, microwave, coffee maker and, electric griddle.
Full size laundry facilities and laundry soap dryer sheets. Ironing board and iron.
Beds were comfortable, lots of extra blankets, portable crib for baby.
For a basement it was light and warm. TV, WiFi, worked great and there was a Blue Ray DVD player.
We had a couple of times that something needed attention. Was able to contact Kristin and immediately had a solution.
I would use this again when traveling. It was filled with cheerful colors and was warm and inviting. Kristin didn’t miss a beat when it came to things that we needed .

This is such a comfortable apartment! The neighborhood is so quiet; I couldn't believe how quiet it was, as it is so close to so many shops and restaurants. It did not feel like a basement because of so much natural light AND it was comfortably warm. The bed was SO comfy and the soft warm blankets were great. Perfect place to stay, no matter why you are in the Provo/Orem area!

This is the second time my family and I have stayed at this property. excellent location And easy to get into. They just redid the carpeting and added another bed in the kids bedroom. Just recommended this to several friends as well. Will stay here again. Just be aware that there is no dishwasher.

Excellent communication with the property owners. Location was perfect for dropping off kiddos at college for both BYU and UVU. We had a bit of an extended stay with being there a little over a week and everything was great. We will definitely consider this property when making return trips to the Provo/Orem area.

Loved staying at this property. Location so close to outdoor activities, shopping, restaurants and the movie theater.
Easy to get into the apartment, parking in the driveway was helpful for having a rental car, easy to make breakfast each morning and have access to a washer and dryer although we didn't use that.
Would certainly recommend staying here. We had a few questions and Kristin texted back quickly to answer our questions. She was so helpful and friendly.

This is a beautifully maintained, well stocked apartment. Communication with the owner was great and the wi-fi was excellent. Nice neighborhood, good location. Stayed here with my wife and teenage daughter and we enjoyed being near Costco and the mall area with easy access to the BYU campus. Would stay here again!

We really enjoyed our stay in this apartment. So comfortable and conveniently located close to everything! The separate bedrooms and living room spaces made it great for our whole family (2 adults 4 kids, plus daytime visitors) to play games, read, or do whatever we wanted. A good home base for venturing out to the many fun things around the area. We would definitely stay here again!
