Very inviting and relaxing place to stay very close to Sequioa National Park entrance. Cows were our neighbors. I love it. There was a cute baby bunny that hung around and Bettina left us delicious plums to eat.

We had a great stay at Bettina's property and really appreciated all of the little things that she did to make us feel welcome and comfortable. She even went out of her way to ensure that my kids had a great experience while we were there. Thanks Bettina!

We had a very nice stay here while visiting the national park. The cottage is close to the entrance of Sequoia, and it was a nice place to relax after a busy day. We were going to be arriving pretty late the first day, and the owner was easy to communicate with. She left lights on, and made it easy for us to find the place. She was very kind, and picked us some fresh fruits from the property. I would recommend this property.

Bettina is the best! She makes sure you’re happy and comfortable. Her home is cozy the pond is beautiful. It’s super peaceful! We would definitely stay there again.

We loved our stay at the cozy cabin! Of primary importance, all of the beds (and pillows) were very comfortable and each of us slept well. The home was charming, and we really enjoyed our stay. Heat worked well; loved the little separator door between the bedrooms and the living section of the house. Plenty of hooks by the entrance for jackets or wet things. Bettina went above and beyond with fresh fruit from her trees, helpful guidance about the park & local restaurants, and she graciously made it possible for us to visit with some nearby donkeys, horses, and other animals. She is able to unobtrusively add to the enjoyment of the stay and we are glad we chose her property (and met her!). We cooked light breakfast daily. My kiddo enjoyed exploring the property, and the stars, birds, and crickets were all lovely additions. We would stay again without hesitation.

Adorable property with the excellent access to Sequoia national park. The miniature donkeys, Dixie and Cody, and mustang, Bayboy, were my daughter's best friends for the week. What a special treat! The owner was wonderful, very easy to communicate with, and answered/solved all of our questions and problems. Would definitely stay here again!

This place is perfect for escaping from urban life! We got to stargazing right in front of the house. The house is also super close to Sequoia National Park so we don't have to wake up earlier to get into the park.

It's a little farm. Rustic Wooden home. Clean and warm with Old rooms with character. Nice front porch to drink wine on and look at the full moon that lights up the valley of hills in front of you. To the side of the house is an open field with 100 head of cattle grazing. Two donkey and a horse are on property to entertain you. Will go back again for sure.

Charming house: Full of quirks but totally user-friendly, with an owner next door whose presence makes the stay even better. Would happily stay here again.

I can't say enough about our stay at Bettina's lovely farmhouse - it was the perfect place for our family of four (including two young children) to call home as we explored several nearby national parks. Everything was just as described in her listing, and quite frankly, the house was even lovelier than the photos give it credit. Despite the soaring temperatures outside (+100F), the house was always cool and comfortable, and in the early evenings and mornings, the kids loved puttering around the grounds to pick plums or say hello to the farm animals. Despite a forgetful mistake on my part regarding check-in, Bettina was the loveliest and most generous host - she made our visit feel more like a stay with a beloved family friend rather than an impersonal rental.
We unfortunately spent very little time at the house because we were busy out in the parks, but rest assured that you will be very comfortable here and that the town of Three Rivers will take care of most any needs you can think of. The local market was great for picking up groceries, a cute local coffee shop fueled us for long early morning drives, and Reimer's provided the perfect place to enjoy a homemade ice cream treat at the end of a long day. We hope we have the opportunity to visit again, and couldn't recommend a stay at Bettina's beautiful farmhouse highly enough.

The house is full of the most interesting, rustic and eclectic decor. Things I would never think of putting together but somehow it works and the house is beautiful. It’s smelled like lavender when we arrived and all it was cozy and clean. The bathrooms, linens and kitchen were all very clean. The owner is very nice and responds to your questions right away. My kids loved this place and they did not want to leave. I would stay here again. Beautiful inside and out just a lot of little critters! Bring bug spray.

This farmhouse was a magical spot for us to relax near Sequoia National Park. The property was ideal with plenty of space inside & out. We loved the horse, donkeys, dog & cat and even enjoyed viewing the neighbors cows! Our host Bettina is a gem, she was helpful, hospitable & engaged. There’s a market nearby and a well equipped kitchen so we were able to cook some meals. The farmhouse is also very close to restaurants, coffee shops & an antique store. We were very happy to relax on the farm between jaunts to the park. Guests even have the privilege of enjoying Bettina’s organic fruit! I definitively recommend a visit to the farmhouse & hope to return!

We feel so fortunate to have stumbled across this incredible property and owner! Bettina was fabulous and took care of every last detail for the comfort of our stay. She generously provided us with bounties of fruit from her trees and most all of the products in the house are non-toxic and natural. Her home is perfect for a family with children and the air conditioning units both upstairs and down provided a welcome respite from the warm days and a long adventure up at Sequoia National Forest. Her beds are so comfortable, water pressure is great, well-equipped kitchen and beautiful spacious common area that feels natural and beautiful with large picture windows all around to enjoy the outdoors from inside. Plenty of things for the kids to do. Little brook in the back and patio area to sit on outside, lots of herbs that you are welcome to pick; we saw rabbits, played ping-pong, there are lots of games in the house, and even a television with Netflix if you feel the need. Wonderful energy, so home-y. Went out on the little pond in the rowboat, our children spent a lot of time with the donkeys and horse, and Bettina even let our daughter help with feeding and caring for them.
We had a wonderful relaxing time away from the big city; would highly recommend to anyone and we will definitely be back. So grateful for this place 💗

Excellent place to stay. Very spacious place with cozy charm. Well furnished with eclectic antique looking furniture. We ate breakfast outside in the backyard enjoying the serene sounds of a babbling Brook. Bettina was very attentive and shared some of her delicious apricots and mini plums. She also has a mini fire pit and ping pong table and tetherball available. Musical instruments inside too. Great place for adults and kids. Bettina’s dog, Buddy, is super sweet! Of course there are little critters (spiders and other insects) around bc it’s on a farm but other than that, it was a great hidden gem in an excellent location. So close to the Sequoia Park entrance. I highly recommend!

We loved this property! It was perfect for our one week family trip to visit Sequoia National Park. The house is rustic and charming, with lots of interesting stuff to keep the kids entertained. The AC worked great. The setting is green, natural, and quiet, with a nice pond and small creek, fruit trees, and herbs. The kids loved greeting the animals each day. The owner is warm and friendly, will helpful suggestions for activities and restaurants. Highly recommended for a relaxing, unique vacation experience close to Sequioa.
