About this house rental
This is an economy-rated three bedroom, two bath townhome located just 150 yards from the base of Aspen Mountain. Aspen's world class shopping, dining, and skiing are all right outside the door, and the grocery store is conveniently just 1 block away. The townhome features a private balcony, a full kitchen, a cozy dining and living area, a gas fireplace, upstairs AC, and wireless internet. The updated furnishings and beautiful, built in gas fireplace with double sided glass windows, in the living area, are sure to please but somewhat limited in space. The living room decor has been recently updated but the remaining rooms and bathrooms have not been and dated.
There is one designated off-street parking space. The master bedroom upstairs has a queen bed and a bathroom. The two bedrooms downstairs share a bathroom; one bedroom has one double bed and one twin, and the other bedroom has two twins (king). The unit's nearly unbeatable location, in the Aspen core, allows easy access to Aspen's entertainment and dining.

Definitely outdated (which we knew!) but was 100% worth it for location and price. We tried to use our fireplace on the last night but it didn’t work. We’d definitely stay here again though. Was walkable to everything!!! We only had to use the bus when we went to snowmass

We loved our stay! We were within walking distance to everything downtown, right next to the City Market and had enough bedrooms for 2 families with kids to stay comfortably. Would definitely stay again!

This was the perfect home base for our family as we explored Aspen with our toddler! It’s close to everything we needed, including parks, playgrounds, the grocery store, restaurants, and more. Wifi was great, kitchen had everything we needed, and jour de fete is practically across the street and has the best coffee (and opens early for those like us on the toddler schedule)! The property management company was fantastic - very communicative and quick to respond and answer questions. While not the most up to date, the townhome was clean, comfortable, and perfect for our group. We would 100% stay here again next time if available, and if not available, we would absolutely look for other properties in Aspen managed by McCartney Properties.

This is an old property. The floor is very squeaky. 2 downstairs bedrooms can hear early risers. Shower can jump to very hot, be careful! Round toilets:( In Aspen terms this is "value property." But they could invest in it. The location is very convenient for all your needs in Aspen.

Aspen is one of the more expensive areas around, so this is a budget property in relative terms.

Our stay at the property in Aspen was great. Everyone had plenty of space and the location was unbeatable. Our largest complaint is that the kitchen was missing some non-parishable essentials. Salt, Pepper, Cooking oil, coffee would have made a big difference since we were only staying through a quick weekend.

Would stay here again
We had a nice stay at this property. Aspen is a fancy town and there is nothing fancy about this particular property... but we knew that going in and it served as a great place to crash for a 5 day ski trip. Its got everything you need in terms of plates, silverware etc to do some light meals. Its not overly spacious. But we spent almost all of our time on the mountain or out at restaurants so as a place to crash its a great deal. Everything was in working order and clean. Location is a very short walk to the Aspen mountain lift and restaurants are all within a 15 min walk. Management was very responsive and easy to work with. Overall we had a wonderful stay and would recommend the place to anyone who wants a reasonably priced walkable stay in Aspen.

Aspen rental
In a nut shell the location of the property is great to the Gondola and town. This property is in great need of an update to everything from bathroom, kitchen, television....everything. With that said it served its purpose for what our group needed. We would definitely return if those updates are made to the unit.

Aspen Condo
This was a great condo! We had 4 adults and 1 child stay here. We were able to have family over to hang out. Loved that there was a washer/dryer onsite. Will definitely consider staying here again!

It is a very old place though, and it shows, chipped paint on the walls, dinged up furniture, subpar at best TV and cable service.Don't be fooled by the wall-to-wall, floor-to-ceiling mirrors along the south wall in the photos, the upstairs entertainment area is fine, but a bit cramped for 3 adults and 2 small kids. All in all, I was surprised that it seemed to be lacking, considering the high price point.

Property is pretty worn but location and beds were perfect, it was very clean. Could use some blankets in the living room and a frying pan in the kitchen. There were no extra blankets or throw blankets in family room. But McCartney was awesome to deal with and will rent from them again. Very accommodating. I give McCartney rentals 5 stars.

Perfect location
Property is pretty worn but location and beds were perfect, it was very clean. Could use some blankets in the living room and a frying pan in the kitchen. Spoilt my holiday
Booked this property and double checked with the agent as it has previous bad reviews and was assured it was fine. Not fine. Very small, bathrooms are terrible, kitchen needs upgrading. Spoke with the agent and was told it is a "standard" condo. Definitely the worst accommodation I've ever had in Aspen.

Great place to stay!
My sisters and I stayed in the Aspen Townhomes East for a long weekend. We loved how close it was to downtown and all of the great restaurants and shops! The only thing I would change would be the distance from the house to the management company. It would have been nice to have them meet us there, other than that, no problems!

Great location and nice property
Our family of six really enjoyed our long weekend in this condo. The location is fantastic and although the condo isn't high-end or fancy, it's very comfortable and had everything we needed for a great weekend in Aspen.
