VACATION RENTAL
Fully furnished two bedroom condominium in Lake Placid. Located just two blocks from downtown Lake Placid. It is only a few miles to hiking and mountain biking trails, Olympic ski jumps, horse show grounds, and Whiteface Mountain ski area. The first floor includes a 1/2 bath and fully equipped kitchen. Living room: new furniture, propane stone fireplace, smart TV, DVD. The second floor has two bedrooms with queen size beds and hand crafted rustic log furniture and smart TVs. There is also a full bath with a Jacuzzi-type tub. Additionally there is a shared laundry room with washers and dryers on the premises; and exterior storage for bikes or kayaks. All linens, towels, blankets, and pillows are provided. WiFi and cable included.
No smoking or pets allowed.

Had a good stay, but disappointed that we couldn't use the fireplace from past people that abused it. I think it should've been turned back on mid/late August, rather than mid-September. My other bummer was very little room in the bedroom. There was an a/c window/room unit that didn't work because it said full. We couldn't figure out how to get it working. It would've been nice to have that fresh air in the window and the big unit moved out.

Having visited Lake Placid many times over the years, I appreciate that this is in a very good location. You can walk to Main Street and Mirror Lake Drive and the Olympic Arena and many restaurants and shops along the way. The small group of condos is in a quiet neighborhood and has designated parking. It was a cozy and comfortable spot for my husband and me as we celebrated our anniversary. John was an excellent communicator and responded to any questions promptly and provided all the information we needed, such as accessing the property and amenities.

This is a very nice property. There is a large spacious kitchen and living area. The two bedrooms served our family of four well and the bathroom is large. The location is great with everything on the ‘strip’ being a close walk away.

We spent a weekend at a family event and needed to rent a place in Lake Placid. We found John’s cozy home and it was all we could ask for. It was clean comfortable and had that Adirondack flare that we were looking for. John was very responsive to all of our questions and I would definitely consider staying there again.

We had a wonderful nine day stay in Lake placid. John’s condo was the perfect homebase for exploring the area. It was very clean, cozy, And it had all the essentials. We really felt at home. The condo was also in a perfect location to the downtown area. A short 10 minute walk and you’re right in the thick of it all: restaurants, shops, and most importantly, Mirror Lake. Lake placid was no more than a 15 minute walk from the condo as well. John is a great communicator, offering some fabulous ideas on things to do and where to eat. We would definitely return to the area and stay here again. If I could give John’s space 20 stars I would.

My son and I were in Lake Placid for a 3 day tournament. This place was perfect for us! Ideal location where you can walk to town in 2 minutes. Condo had all the amenities we needed and I highly recommend. Very quiet at night; also super convenient to have access to laundry room. Parking was ideal right outside the condo. We travel to LP annually for tournaments and I would definitely return back to this condo. It definitely beats a hotel.

Everything about checking in was seamless. Home was accessible to everything in town, especially if walking. Was a little disappointed to have to get shampoo, conditioner and soap for the shower/upstairs bath, but we left the large containers behind for the next, so hopefully they remain. Never saw one of the TV remotes upstairs but hopefully it is found. The home and property were very well kept and nice airflow so we never needed fans or A/C. Plenty of reserved parking and two parking placards were available. Wish there was a community BBQ but there was a nice private (away from street) patio with a table and chairs. Nice quiet and shaded complex and neighborhood.

Loved this place!! Matches the description exactly and is super convenient for the downtown in Lake Placid. We could walk everywhere. Check-in and parking was very easy as well. Fair warning, the ceilings in the bedrooms are a little low - but match everything in the pictures so it shouldn’t be a surprise. Just something to keep in mind for those who are a little taller. Communication with the property owner is great and he provided great recs for things to do in Lake Placid - which worked out since it rained a lot one of the days we were there.

We were in town for a lacrosse tournament and we could not be happier with our rental. Price was more than reasonable, and the condo was spacious and perfect for a family of 4, but could definitely accommodate a larger family! John was easy to work with, and when I requested an early check-in, he was more than accommodating.

The rustic charm associated with this region is evident throughout the property. Comfortable and fully equipped, our 3 night stay was incredibly relaxing. We absolutely loved our stay here! We travel to Lake Placid often, however this was our first time using VRBO while staying in LP and it did not disappoint. This property was beautiful. The residence was very clean. The owner John was outstanding. He was in communication with us leading up to our stay and was available for any questions throughout. It was a short walk to Main Street, we did not have to drive all weekend. We would definitely stay here again!

My wife and I wanted to go to Lake Placid for the weekend and we chose this property. We could not be more satisfied. The property was clean and had all the amenities you would want. Very nice and cozy condo. We enjoyed the log cabin feel. Bedrooms were pretty small but we were only there 2 nights. We had everything we needed to cook and make coffee. Great location to see everything in Lake Placid.

John made contact with me about a week ahead of our stay, to make sure we had reception (since it can be spotty around there). Place was very clean and super cozy. Great centralized location to downtown. This was our 3rd VRBO of our trip and was everyone’s favorite.

Went to LP for a long weekend to enjoy restaurants and shopping on Main Street and get a few hour hike in over by Whiteface. Location is great, about 5 minute walk to Main Street. Plenty of room for 2 couples for a long weekend. Would consider staying here again
