About this house rental

Newly renovated, this spacious, classic, single -family shore house is like living on a houseboat as the bay laps against the bulkheads to the north and to the west. The home has unobstructed bay views from nearly every room and sits in a quiet, private setting with parking for 4 cars. All new beds including mattresses, box springs and Serena and Lily spreads. All new air conditioning. The house has been elevated so the entrance is about 9 easy steps up to the first living level. With panoramic views from 2 generous living areas, hardwood floors and plenty of comfortable seating, this home has it all. On the second floor, there is a living room with flat screen TV/DVD, dining room, full bath with tub and two bedrooms which include one bedroom with 1 queen and 1 double bed and a second bedroom with 2 twin beds . There are 2 tables,8 chairs, bench seating and lounges on the top deck. The views are fabulous. Downstairs is a family room with foosball table, flat screen TV/DVD, laundry room, master bedroom with a king bed and ensuite bath and one bedroom with 2 twin beds, a hall bath, a nice porch with comfortable chairs and the private dock. Wireless Internet, cable TV, quiet ductless air conditioning and a full size washer and dryer complete the package. Outside is a large enclosed shower with hot/cold water. Two large decks, one off each living area overlooking the bay are great for al fresco dining, sunbathing or just relaxing on the new patio furniture as you watch the boats go by. The kitchen is fully equipped including microwave, dishwasher, separate ice maker, toaster oven, blender, and coffee maker. Walk 3 blocks to the guarded (until Labor Day), pristine white ocean beach or crab, fish, kayak, swim, and paddle -board off your private dock. The dock can accommodate a 16 foot boat but please check with us first. The home’s location is in the Brant Beach Yacht Club area allowing kids to ride their bikes and affording easy access to the secondary beach road for walking, biking and jogging. New municipal tennis courts and the bay beach are nearby. Four beach badges included in the rental price.. We leave a beach cart, 4 low beach chairs and a beach umbrella.
*** Our home is a corner lot on Barnegat Bay. The Bay is very tidal and can experience strong currents . Do not dive off our property including the dock. Be wary when swimming. Swim at your own risk.
**PLEASE NOTE: WE RENT TO FAMILIES ONLY. Adults may not sign a lease to rent the Property for occupancy by groups. There is a house manager who verifies rentals. Any violation of this provision will result in immediate eviction and forfeiture of the rent.
**We cannot allow any pets-service or otherwise -on the property as the owner has asthma and severe allergies.
** There are no fires allowed on property--no firepits, chimineas, etc.
**No Jet skiis are allowed at dock or on the property.
* *As with most listings on the New Jersey Shore, you are required to bring your own sheets/pillowcases, towels,etc. This home provides blankets and pillows.
**LINENS MAY BE RENTED on Long Beach Island. Best to google search or we can connect you with our house cleaner who rents a limited amount of linens.

Our second trip to this beautiful bayfront property once again gave us great memories and a wonderful time. Nice short walk to the beach, and you can’t beat the sunsets from the deck. Every room in the house was very clean. Kate is a great host and We look forward to future stays.

The sunsets where breathtaking from both decks. There are enough roads, off of the main boulevard, to bike to your hearts content. The landlord is highly responsive and helpful. If you love the bay, this is the house! And if you love the beach, it is a surprisingly short walk.

Our family had an amazing time at Kate's bayfront home. Upon checking in, we found everything clean and ready for us to unpack. The bedrooms and bathrooms appeared recently renovated. Bedrooms are on both floors. The second story dining room and living room gave amazing sunset views across the bay... and we even so the sunrise out the side deck each morning. The game room was a lot of fun, and the covered first story deck facing the bay provided nice afternoon relaxing times for our family. Instructions were clear and in key places for lights, fans, laundry, bathrooms, and other important places. Each bedroom has its own air conditioner. The house was a short walk to the beach and is located in a quiet neighborhood. We never had an issue with any of the neighbors. Overall a great home and great experience for our family.

Like many of the reviews, this house is like staying on a houseboat with bay in front and one side of house. The sunset views are spectacular. The dock allowed for easy launch of my kayak and swimming in the bay.

Lovely property in great location. Two very nice decks. Kitchen is well equipped also. Short walk to beach, fishing and crabbing from dock. Highly recommended!

Amazing Retreat Cant beat the out door activates. If you like to crab, fish, swim in the bay, or just look for sunset’s this place has it all. The house was updated and clearly well maintained. Great outside shower and changing area.

It’s like having a comfortable family home on the bay. From early morning light at breakfast with a view of the bay to the spectacular sunsets sitting in one of the decks- we have the opportunity to be together or split up for privacy. We have had a multi generational cross family dinners as well as quiet little conversations in the house. Comfortable and clean and inviting is this house.

We loved the two story house with decks on both levels and room to spread out when needed. Privacy when we needed it and big comfy spaces when wanted to be together inside or out. We think the neighborhood is very pretty. It feels like home to us now.

The best place ever!

The best place ever!

Beautifully maintained and at the same time absolutely comfortable and welcoming 2 story, multi decked house with flat out stunning water views on two sides. Classy, lovely neighborhood with direct water access to the bay for sailing, kayaking, boarding. A short walk to the ocean with a not too wide and not in crowded beach. Our ten member family ( ages 75 to 15) loved the house ! The big table in front of the wall to wall window overlooking the bay was our family center where we played games ate breakfast and shared stories. The large living room adjoining the dining area has big comfy sofa and chairs and a wrap around the bay view. It’s really awesome at any time of day or night. The lower family room is comfortably appointed as are the bedrooms. The beds were really comfortable and the decorations appealing- simple , clean, comfy. The outdoor shower enclosure has a clothesline and provides privacy . So convenient! There was lots of hot water, lots of deck furniture, lots of space everywhere. The kitchen is small but has a window with a bay view and has all the cooking supplies need for family style cooking. Clean! Beautifully maintained. This house has the ambiance of a traditional family house at the beach that is dearly loved and professionally maintained for many years.
