We came down to enjoy New Orleans and Southern Decadence, and the location was absolutely perfect! Just outside the French Quarter and a block from Frenchman Street, it offered easy access to all areas of town. The house had a true New Orleans vibe with its fun decorations and quirky charm. The tropical garden was a delightful spot to sit and enjoy our morning coffee, which was thoughtfully provided upon our arrival. They had all the amenities you might need and even some extras you might not expect, like spices for cooking, laundry soap for the washing machine, and a little sewing kit. The bed was very comfortable, and the shower had great pressure. We absolutely loved this place and the friendliness and helpfulness that Ron offered us. We look forward to staying here again when we are in New Orleans!

Ron and Mark were the ideal hosts and were so accommodating and welcoming. They went above and beyond to help us newbies get around. Their home is perfectly located to enjoy all that New Orleans has to offer, within walking distance to so many popular tourist destinations. The house is clean, and stocked with all the comforts of home. We will definitely remember our stay here and we wouldn’t hesitate to come back again. Thank you both for sharing your home with us!!

Ron was a wonderful host that showed much hospitality. He offers a great introduction to the home’s history and area activities upon arrival. He cares that his guests are accommodated comfortably & is right next door incase anything is to arise. The back patio offers a hot tub which is an additional treat after a fun filled day! Would definitely recommend!

Ron and Mark hosted my best friend and I for a week! Ron makes sure you know the beautiful (and non-beautiful) history of the house and the city to make you feel right at home. Make sure to eat all of the places Ron recommends! They were the best eats the whole trip! We were spoiled with the location and the hospitality, and we hope to maybe one day be back.

Our stay was awesome. This property was so clean, artfully decorated, quiet and serene. A wonderful respite. Felt like home. And centrally located- we walked almost everywhere. Take the time to talk to Ron- we did everything he recommended and really had the best time.

My friend and I road-tripped from Ohio to visit Nola for our first time. While searching for possible places to stay, this listing immediately caught our eye. The classic Mardi Gras decor and that amazing back patio space won us over immediately, and I will say that the photos provided do not do it justice!!! This space was so perfect! We loved all the decor and the passion that the hosts put in to create a welcoming space for guests while also adding special touches such as a fresh flower in the bathroom and numerous historical books spread through out the house about all thing New Orleans! Being two women travelers in a new city, it was comforting to read that we would be greeted by the hosts and given a overview of the city, great places to visit, good food suggestions, as well as safety tips. Both hosts were so kind and we really enjoyed chatting with them, learning about their history as well as the home and neighborhood history. We truly appreciate the effort that they put in to creating a home away from home for their guests and the care and dedication they provide to creating a connection as a visitor and to the city itself. Thank you both!! If we ever visit again, we will be back!!!

Charming flat in a perfect location--quiet neighborhood 2 blocks from Frenchman St. and just a few more to the FQ. Easy access to public transportation to Jazzfest and the rest of the city. Comfortable quarters and a decently appointed kitchen open up to the back garden--a small bit of paradise, complete with serenading tree frogs.
