This is a beautifully appointed, quiet and cozy, Ski-In/Ski-Out getaway with a PRIVATE hot tub (seriously, not-shared by anyone), on a spacious wraparound deck nestled in the trees and a short walk to quaint ski village at the Whitefish Mountain Resort, formerly the Big Mountain. We are a privately owned and managed townhome, licensed for public accommodations through the State of Montana. Our home away from home has 3 bedrooms, 2 baths plus sleeping loft with daybed and trundle. Accommodates 6 (some exceptions for party of 8) We also own property #959867 which is on the same property. On the main floor is the 'Moose King Bedroom' with a comfortable KING-size log bed. Also on the main floor is a bathroom with tub and shower, small laundry/boot room, fully equipped kitchen open to the living and dining room area furnished in pine logs for a warm and rustic feel. Enjoy the serenity of the great outdoors in your private hot tub on your own private deck, just a few feet out the sliding doors from the dining room. Up the spiral staircase to the second floor, you will find the cozy 'Pine Cone Bedroom' with QUEEN-size log bed and 'Ski Bedroom' with two TWIN beds and flatscreen TV/DVD. The loft has a comfortable day-bed that can convert into 2 twin beds or one king bed. The second bath with shower and tub is on this floor. This townhome is the perfect family getaway for all vacationers; for our summer guests, great location for all the activities the Big Mountain has to offer. For our skiers, best of all, you can ski right to your back door after a fun and exhausting day on the slopes. Ski-in on Hailey's Run, Ski-out on Home Again, 150 steps down from our place. Truly easy! Our well-maintained, home away from home, is privately owned and managed. Because the owners Scott and Charisse do not employ a property manager, we are able to offer reasonable rates and personalized service. We are 'locals' and know the area. Please feel free to call us with any questions. The closest location to the unit to access the SNOWBUS is a couple minute walk to the Upper Village right before the Bierstube. Free Whitefish Mountain Resort shuttle between upper village and Base Lodge with stops in between. This runs throughout the day and cycles about every 15 minutes. There is a stop located right next door to the condos in the Hibernation House parking lot. Free long distance phone service USA and Canada Natural gas fireplace Washer/Dryer Gas grill Fully equipped kitchen with condiments and paper products Attractions: Downtown Whitefish- 10 minutes Glacier National Park - 45 minutes Whitefish Lake City Beach- 10 minutes Flathead Lake- 40 minutes Whitefish Lake Golf Course- 10 minutes Glacier Park International Airport- 30 minutes Amtrak in Whitefish- 10 minutes Several other golf courses- 10-30 minutes Fine Dining at Cafe Kandahar is just steps from your door and the 'local hangout', Hell Roaring, is a few minutes walk to the village area. For more wonderful restaurants, take a scenic 10 minute drive to Downtown Whitefish or use the FREE snowbus shuttle from your front door during ski season. Because of the shuttle service, many of our guests choose not to rent a car. The Whitefish Mountain Resort and Whitefish have plenty of wonderful restaurants, shops, and nightlife. The Whitefish area is regarded nationwide as an authentic recreation hot spot and offers world-class skiing and snowboarding, challenging golf, Whitefish Lake, with its pristine, crystal clear water, serves as the local playground for water sports enthusiasts. We’ve been back many times to this particular location, and the host is always very helpful, the location is excellent to get on the snow bus, walk across to get on the trail to ski in on the first chair, lift of the day, and a great run, coming in the back door at the end of the day. The hot tub is wonderfully secluded… much better than the other locations along the chairlift routes

Did not like the 30 wooden steps up to the door. Nothing in the condo explaining mountain shuttle or snowbus schedules.
Ski-in-ski-out designation is a matter of interpretation! (having to walk across parking lot to access Home Again run would have been ok, except one of our ladies ud 88 with a bad back + shecouldnitwalk that far withoutseveere pain. She was onky abke to skioneday(.

We absolutely loved our stay! Everything was cozy and had everything we could possibly need. We loved the location for skiing. It's perfect really! We'd love to come back for our next ski trip at Whitefish! Many thanks to the owners for renting this out to us, we are most grateful!

Grandparents, parents and teen and preteen kids enjoyed this stay immensely. The three bedrooms provided space for each generation to stay, the Whitefish Mountain location provided great views during daily walks, and the location also provided easily accessed fun summer activities for both kids (one is a risk taker and the other is risk averse). We also enjoyed how easy it was to get to the West Glacier entrance of the National Park for the few days we were able to get vehicle registrations/tours booked. Hosts were easy to work with and responded quickly to any messages sent.

The home accommodated our family of six beautifully. It was good indoor and outdoor space, and we enjoyed eating on the deck and soaking in the hot tub after great days of sightseeing, hiking. The kitchen was very well stocked. The location was a great surprise with good hiking trails and fun entertainment for the kids, including the Alpine slide, and the ropes course. It was close enough to whitefish and Glacier for ease of access to those locations while still providing a more rural atmosphere.

Everything was as stated, and we had a great stay. Took us a day to figure out how to ski right to the property (don't take the right toward the bottom of Hailey's; go down a bit more, take a left and then a right at the gap in the trees). Hot tub wasn't hot when we got there, but Scott had emailed me about that and I missed it (need to change water between guests, and it takes a while to heat up).
Would definitely rent again.

The good- location to the ski area, the price and communication from owners (very prompt!) AND the hottub! That was awesome at the end of the day.
The “meh”- the unit was incredibly dusty. The ceiling fan and walls haven’t seen a cleaning agent in a long time, and the unit didn’t have any garbage bags so we ended up buying some. Neither of these are really an issue just some what of an inconvenience.
The bad- there was zero information about the ski area accessible from the unit. It lists as a “ski-in-ski-out” but boy howdy was it tough to figure out when you’ve never been to an area before. It would have been great to have a note or a map that showed how to get to/from the unit/ski area. It is 100% a ski in ski out but you’ll have to find the trail across the street and parking lot in order to actually ski out. Additionally, there are so many ways to get to/from town on the snow bus and shuttles (or Uber) but none of the information was available in the unit and required further research. It would have been awesome to know about the FREE SNOW BUS from town to this VRBO/ski area before we spent the money on Uber.
All in all- the unit was pretty dang good! It came with the basics of what you would need. It would have been nice to have more information on the resources available, a map of how to get to the ski area from the unit, and a bit cleaner of a space. We did have a good trip, it just took a day to get our feet under us.

We loved staying here. It’s the perfect location to ski in/out. Just a short walk across the street with your skis and you’re on the way to a great day! You can also ski right into the back of the property which makes for a speedy trip to the hot tub. We used the hot tub every day, it was the perfect way to warm up. Having the in-unit washer/dryer was also super convenient. Our group of 5 fit comfortably in the three bedrooms. We didn’t use the loft space, but it seems better suited for kids/teens since it’s a futon situation and the ceiling is lower in that area. The steps from the parking spots to the unit were a little daunting in icy conditions, but they were well maintained throughout our time there. We requested a late check out and Scott was happy to help! We will definitely keep this special spot in mind for future trips to Whitefish.

This is our 2nd stay at Scott and Charisse's properties and it never disappoints. Scott and Charisse are extremely responsive to help make sure your stay at their condo(s) meets your expectations.
The property location is extremely convenient. The (upper) Village, with shops and restaurants and SNOW bus access, is about a 5min walk. Ski-out access is just a walk thru the parking lot across the street. Ski-in, via Hailey's (run), literally drops you at the backside of the condo. The town of Whitefish is a 15min. drive.
The condo itself is very well appointed with everything you should probably need for your stay. The in-unit washer and dryer are game-changers and help you pack light. Comfy bed(s). Private, for your condo unit only, hot tub means you always have access to soothe those tired muscles. Plenty of kitchen amenities and the kindness of the owners / others that leave basic necessities for others saved me from forgetting to buy coffee on morning #1!
When we get back to Whitefish, we'll definitely be reaching back out to Charisse and Scott...and I'd recommend you give them the opportunity to make you repeat guests at their properties!

We stayed here for our son's wedding in September. What a beautiful location at this time of year. I can't even imagine how pretty it must be in the snow during winter! We flew in from Seattle, Kansas City, and Knoxville and met up here for the wedding. The condo was perfect for our group! We enjoyed the deck and used the grill on the last night for our dinner. The hot tub didn't get used, but I bet it is enjoyed during ski season. Deer sightings were plentiful - they came right up to the condo! We walked up to the resort for coffee and the alpine slide and went to the top of the mountain on the ski lift for breathtaking views. Downtown is so cute and we had some great meals. I would highly recommend this condo for any time of year!

This condo was perfect for our family wedding weekend mid-July at Whitefish Mountain. The location is very central to lifts, hiking trails, bike trails, garden bar, and is only a short drive down the mountain to the gorgeous town of Whitefish where there are tons of amazing shops. The condo owners are extremely gracious and communication was excellent. There were quick and clear responses to my questions and they made sure we had everything we needed. The condo is a beautifully crafted ski chalet: high vaulted beamed ceilings, lots of big windows with tons of light, very well-spaced and roomy, artfully decorated, a very unique wood spiral staircase to 2 very large rooms and a loft upstairs. The beds are super comfortable. The furniture is very comfy and situated so it is great for conversation and/or lounging with your drink of choice. The kitchen has everything you need and is the best stocked kitchen I have ever seen at any VRBO. The wrap-around deck is huge and a great place to bbq, gather and hang out. Did I mention the deer, jays, and other cool birds that come through the property? The jacuzzi is incredible. It's large, clean and the jets are amazing. I can't say enough about this condo. It was above and beyond our expectations. Thank you Charisse and Scott!! We will definitely be back!!!

Summer Glacier National Park Getaway
We loved staying here. It was beautiful and very clean. The beds were extremely comfortable, kitchen had everything we needed in it, TV and internet were great. We loved that it was located up a mountain and alittle more secluded. It was wonderful after hiking all day to relax in the hot tub. The hosts were wonderful to work with and we so appreciated them opening their home to us.

Great stay at the condo, checking in was hassle free, hot tub & bbq were great. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals. Once we figured out the heating it was good.
Access to the lifts was a quick walk across the parking lot & a nice little ski to get warmed up.
It was a great place & id go back for sure.
