The Sailors Daughter is a very unusual Mid century/contemporary home. With beautiful cross ventilation with the Winter temperatures open doors allow Wonderful breezes to flow through the house. It has an updated air conditioning system and heat to match its unusual modern eclectic interior. It comes with its own clean Fill of it outdoor Jacuzzi. The grill will be scrubbed and ready for your use.

We had a wonderful time and and because of hurricane Debby we spent the first 2 days here not leaving the house once during the storm!! The house is in a safe location and storm shelter approved!! Lol but the house is very nice!! All the appliances are new and nice!! We loved the showers and bathrooms!! And my wife loved having the sink and makeup station to get ready in the bedroom!! The house is wonderful and we would most definitely stay here again!! Thank you for the wonderful place to spend our vacation!!

The house is well located 15 min drive to beaches and close to stores. The interior design is just wow when you enter. The 2 rooms have queen size confortable beds. Kitchen is well equiped. The backyard is very private. We had an exellent stay. Robert & josee

the house was very clean and had all the stuff you need, plus even some more ( like herbs to cook and coffe ...) we really enjoyed our time there and Caitlin is a very nice Lady who really cares about you and she helps you out when there is a Problem.

We loved the convenience that no matter which way we were headed for the day, it was super convenient to get there. I will be honest and say the other reviews sold me on staying here. It is very clean on a super private property. Only 10-20 minutes to any of the beaches on Siesta Key. Plus side is to get early parking at any of the beach lots and take the free trolley to where ever else you want to go/see for the day on Siesta Key. Caitlin was wonderful with answering any questions. I would definitely book here again in the future.

Convenient location! Elise our canine enjoyed the yard and neighborhood for walks! Well equipped kitchen! Felt very private with the front fence. Wonderful two weeks! We would love to come back!

We loved staying here. Not too close yet not too far away. It was as if we lived by the beach. We enjoyed everything about the fully stocked & clean house. The hostess was a wonderful person and very considerate. Can't wait to come back and stay again.

We had a wonderful stay. The house was clean and had everything we needed. There are a lot of kitchen appliances and other conveniences which make life much easier. Caitilin was also around to help if needed and was very friendly. The house is nice decorated and we felt like home. Thanks for hosting us ☺️

We were thrilled when stepping into our home for the next 10 days! Very spacious, absolutely well-decorated rooms, comfy beds, modern bathrooms, nice terrace with a great hot tub, super equipped kitchen (tools, condiments), detergant at washing machine, towels, beach chairs, beach playing toys for kids etc. Felt so much at home and absolutely enjoyed our whole stay. Would have loved to extend our stay. Though we had never seen anybody face-to-face, thanks a lot, Caitlin!

Enjoyed staying in this lovely home. Very clean with everything we needed for our stay. Plenty of towels and toilet paper. The spice cabinet has everything you could imagine. We definitely appreciated the beach chairs and the pool noodles. A great location for trying out every beach nearby. The owners were great and very responsive to messaging. Would book again! Our stay was absolutely amazing from check in to check out!!! This house was perfect! The pictures do not do it justice! The location was perfect to every beach we went to everyday. I fell in love with this property. The communication with the owner was great and quick. It was very clean and we wanted for absolutely nothing. We will 100 percent be staying here again and again. I am so happy I found this piece of paradise ❤️

House and property were great. Everything was super clean and tidy. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen had everything we needed to make our meals. Laundry room was great to do a few loads. Hot tub was nice, my daughter enjoyed it. Neighborhood was quiet and off the main road, which is pretty busy. I would have liked to meet the owner but I had no problems to have any contact which is good. We really enjoyed and hope to be back some day!

We had a wonderful month at Sailor’s Daughter. The house was clean and well provisioned. The location was convenient to grocery stores, restaurants, and beaches. The host, Caitlin, was immediately responsive, addressing all questions and needs. We are returning next year and are looking forward to it.

What a wonderful two bedroom home! Kitchen was well stock for all your cooking needs. Very nice back yard with a hot tub and privacy fence. House was very clean and the owner is very responsive & helpful.

This was a wonderful property, excellent renovation of a 1950's house. The house is well stocked with things you typically need in a kitchen. Very nice totally fenced yard so good for pets. The property owner/manager was so easy to deal with and very quickly responded to any questions we had. Neighborhood was OK but close to grocery stores (Trader Joes, Publix) and many restaurants.

We stayed heren for onze month, mid november - mid december 2021, and had such a wunderful time. Caithlin was very helpful and friendly. First of all, the photos don 't do the house justice. It's much bigger than it appears to be on the photos. The fully equiped kitchen had everything we needed to cook a nice meal, and the appliances were top notch. The house is completely fenced in with plenty of outdoor space to relax. This makes it feel like you're in your own private oasis. The back patio even has a jacuzzi. The two bedrooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable. The neighborhood was nice and quiet, and you're close to all the major right. We'll be back!!!

We stayed at Catlin’s house for three months and we enjoyed every minute of it. She is a great host- she had beautiful flowers and coffee ready for us to enjoy. The house is beautiful and it made us feel like our home away from home… it’s super convenient and close to everything( Walking distant to Trader Joe’s and lots of great restaurants etc) - thank you Catlin for a wonderful stay😀

Great location. Everything we needed for our 30 day stay while we acclimated to the area. Property manager was awesome and friendly. Definitely would stay again because property is located near Siesta Key and local establishments.

We always enjoy our time at Sailor’s Daughter and have returned for years. The location is great if you like to explore Sarasota and all it offers. We love that this house offers privacy but also allows wonderful light in the windows. Enjoy!

We rented this house for a month (mid Dec-mid Jan) and would do so again. Within easy walking distance of everything we needed, and we found that we could easily bike, run, rent kayaks at a local outfitter, drive along the beautiful beaches...or just relax in the backyard! The host is fantastic and responsive. Hope we can get back there!

My dog and I had the best 6 weeks at Sailor's Daughter! We were so so so sad to leave, and are already looking forward to our return trip. The house was fantastic, the location was great, and the privacy of the backyard was unbeatable!

I honestly can’t rate the property. We were notified the morning of arrival that the property was double booked. Mistakes happen. Owner was friendly and found us another house near the original. Communication was great. We were satisfied with the next property. However, the house we stayed in was not the original property.

This rental is lovely. The location is great and centrally located in Sarasota in walking distance of restaurants and Trader Joe’s. A short drive to the beach. Sally and Caitlin are great hosts and very helpful. Love this place!
