My family had a lovely time at the cabin and in Grand lake. The house was spacious , comfortable and very clean. It was equipped with all the essentials. Marc gave us easy instructions and was quick to answer any questions.

This is an amazing property in a beautiful setting. This is the second year in a row that we have rented it for our women’s kayak group. Every year, we consistently see moose and deer in our yard. This year we had a large female moose hanging out in the yard for several hours on Saturday afternoon, and one Sunday a younger moose came by with a herd of deer. The huge wrap around deck on the property makes for a Wonderful place to hang out in the evenings, and the view is stunning! Marc Is a fantastic host and we have really enjoyed working with him both of the years that we have stayed here. Everyone on our trip requested that we come back to the same house for next year, it is just such a magical place!

The house was very nice. We enjoyed our stay. only disappointment is not being able to use the lake.

Great place to stay and very affordable. The house is very comfortable and well stocked. The communication was easy and helpful. The only negative is that it looked to be a lot closer to town when booking than it ended up being. It's not exactly walkable.

Everythinhg went as planned for the week. The house was well maintained and easy to make home for the week. We had four adults and four children and it was a perfect fit. Thanks VRBO.

Great location - peaceful, wildlife, yet close to town. Beds very comfortable and master suite offers lots of privacy. Plenty of pillows and blankets. Kitchen well equipped. Thanks for the chilled beer mugs! Close to RMNP entrance. We went back into the park at night for star gazing.

Marc is a great owner who responds to questions promptly! When we arrived, we had a difficult time getting the 29’ trailer in the driveway as it was plowed pretty narrow. Contacted Marc who in turn contacted his snow removal company and got them over to get the driveway widened out. This is a beautiful home in an awesome location. People in this area are very friendly. Marc’s home was awesome for snowmobiling trip!! Thank you!!!

The cabin had everything we needed. The wood burning stove was so the best way to start and end our days. Really nice place and communication with Marc was excellent.

My family had a wonderful time in this cabin. We've stayed in many VRBO's over the years, and this one was exactly as advertised - very clean and just outside the National Park's western entrance. It really was a perfect location for visiting the park. Our only issue was that we didn't read the listing closely enough and thought we would be able to use Columbine Lake. It's a private lake - no short term renters allowed -- so we were not able to use our SUP or fish there. Turns out that was a non-factor, with Shadow Mountain Lake and Grand Lake literally five minutes away. Overall, highly recommended. Thank you for sharing the cabin with us.

We enjoyed our stay in Grand Lake. The place was a perfect location, easy to get to town and activities. The house was clean and looked just like the pics. Enjoyed walking around Columbine lake in the morning! Gorgeous view! Liked the multiple keys available since we had lots of people staying here. The owner was very responsive and easy to work with. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for a place with a cabin feel!

The description and the reviews do not do this property justice. It is over the top amazing! We almost hate to tell other people how great it was for fear that it will become too popular, but it was such an amazing place! We were a group of six women from Denver, that are in a big ski club together, and we often go kayaking together. I wanted to have a women’s getaway weekend to go kayaking, and we enjoy shadow Mountain Lake which is nearby. When I was looking for properties online, I thought this might just be a house in a suburb of Grand Lake. and I did not know that it was a beautiful four bedroom cabin/house nestled in the woods on a private lake! Marc Was an amazing host, and bent over backwards to go the extra mile and make sure we had a great stay. He responded to all of our messages very quickly. He even helped tell us where to look for the best stars since the stargazing was totally amazing every night! After dinner we went for a walk around the lake, which was about a mile and a half loop through the neighborhood of beautiful cabins and houses and we enjoyed the view of the lake and the mountains. Every morning there was wildlife in the yard. On Saturday there was a mother dear and her two fawns, and on Sunday morning we were treated to mother moose and her calf, along with two adult deer and two fawns, all in the yard at the same time! There were also lots of hummingbirds. The house was spacious, clean, and had an incredibly well stocked kitchen with utensils, spices, and servingware to accommodate all of the great cooks on our trip! So overall, this was a truly wonderful property, and we hope to return again sometime, because everyone in our group thought that it was a little piece of paradise!

Very happy with this cabin!

This was our annual vacation for our two families. This was our first time in this part of the country and we had a wonderful time. Marc was a very responsive host. He answered our questions quickly, sent me some websites to look at for hiking, etc and reached out quickly when he found out about fire restrictions in the area. The house was clean and perfect for our two families - big enough to give everyone their space. The kitchen was well equipped. The neighborhood was great to walk around in and everyone very friendly! We saw moose and deer around the lake. and elk and mamot's on our hikes in RMNP. We had a great time and would definetly stay again.

People were fishing on the frozen lake, walking up and down the street, and kids playing in the snow. We loved the kitchen supplies, laundry room, each of us having our own room (7 guests- 6 adults and 1 child). I slept on the futon bed upstairs and with it laid out didn't have a problem. TV's in the house were great with Xfinity and streaming apps. WiFi was fantastic and no one ever lost connection. This was one of our favorite homes to visit as a family. No complaints, no issues and everything we needed. We will be back. Thank you so much!

Everything went smoothly

You can always tell when the rental owners use the house for themselves. It feels like home! I went with 3 other people, and we had plenty of space. We each had our own room, and the location is beautiful and quiet. We got up in the morning to go walk around the lake, and then sit on the deck and have coffee. The views are beautiful, and the house was homey and comfortable. We have already talked about renting it again for our next trip.

We enjoyed a great weekend here with friends. Neighborhood is quiet and great for families. My kids loved the hammock! Great patio with lovely views, roads are good for family walks, close proximity to Grand Lake.

The Not Forgotten Cabin was the perfect place to set up for some dark sky Milky Way observation. Just 10 minutes from RMNP Harbison picnic area - the perfect place to see more stars than you thought possible. Plus we were greeted each morning by baby Mule Deer and their Momma. Clean, comfortable. Amazing location!

Wonderful place to stay for a mountain vacation. Everything we needed was supplied and made for an easy and relaxing stay. Highly recommend this property.

The owners clearly care about this home in the mountains. It was well maintained and well appointed. We had 8 family adults and it was perfect for that size. We had 4 additional visitors -- 3 moose and a doe. But they stayed outside.

Great stay for family in town for destination wedding

Great to have a kitchen totally stocked with everything you need to make big meals. Loved having extra pillows, comforters and sheets, too.

We were very comfortable and had everything we needed to keep 10 people happy and entertained. The cabin is ideally located near the West entrance to the Rocky Mountain National Park. We were very glad to be on the West side of the park as it was much less crowded and had more than enough activities to keep us occupied for a week. We enjoyed the town of Grand Lakes and Granby was not that far away when we needed supplies/ groceries. Thanks Marc for a wonderful stay.

This is an older property but a great place to stay. It is nicely secluded and was beautiful during the winter and we really enjoyed the cozy wood-burning stove. We plan to go back during the summer. The communication with the owner was smooth and easy. I would recommend this property -- worked great for 4 adults and 4 kids.
