If you are looking for a place to veg out on weekends or during the week, this is the place to visit. Our three bedroom, three bath home on a quarter acre in the Del Monte forest. We are located in the "Sunbelt" area of Pebble Beach where it is warm and cozy.

You can find our place as soon as you enter the Highway 1 gate right off of 17-Mile drive.

When you arrive open the blinds, lay on the three-section sofa and float away. It is a place to relax, unwind and forget the world outside.

Relax and enjoy your stay. Be refreshed when you leave.

This cute bungalow exceeded my expectations. It’s a bonus being inside the Pebble Beach gate. My favorite part was the very large back yard, perfect for some birdwatching with coffee. The kitchen was small but functional and very well stocked. The master bedroom is very spacious and comfy. We loved our stay!

It was a surprise to find a Pebble Beach location, perfect for our week on the Peninsula. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, The cottage was easily accessible just off 17-mile drive, and of course, coming from Phoenix, the weather was wonderful. As a former Peninsula resident it was great to revisit memories throughout the area from a central location. Plus the neighborhood was perfect for morning walks. The cottage was clean, comfortable and had everything needed for our stay.

Set in a lovely location, very comfortable house. The house was clean, and excellent quick responses from Jonathan to the couple of questions we had. Directions to the house which Jonathan sends makes the house easy to find.

The best thing about the house is the quiet, peaceful location close to Carmel and Monterey. There was plenty of room for our family, a group of four adults and one toddler. The host made arrival and departure easier for us by being flexible about check-in and check- out time (we were meeting up from different directions and had the toddler). A minor criticism is the lack of shampoo and conditioner, things I have come to expect because they were at other rental properties. There was soap.

I stayed at the house with 4 colleagues as we were attending Sea Otter Classic. The house was in a fabulous location….on our second day, we saw two deer in the garden. Comms with the owner were great. Clean house, plenty of space for us. Perfect. Thank you

This Pebble Beach property was the perfect place to celebrate spring break for my family, including kids and senior grandparents. The wooded backyard / patio area was exceptional for our kids to get the wiggles out, and the location was perfect for our family adventures from Carmel to PG to Monterey. Our hosts were very responsive. The home was cozy, with everything we needed for a low key getaway. Will absolutely book again and recommend to our family, who also visit the area frequently. Thanks for a memorable trip!

An amazing stay! 3 60ish couples in town to attend a wedding. Jonathon’s place is perfectly located to visit everything in Carmel/Monterey. Beautiful quiet woodland setting. The property was incredibly well stocked with more than we could ever need. Just inside the gates at Pebble Beach makes for an exclusive special stay. We were three 60ish couples in town for a wedding. The central location allowed us to explore everywhere in the region. The condo was incredibly well stocked and we enjoyed every evening in the great room with a fire cackling in the background. Jonathon was responsive, friendly and helpful. We can’t wait for our next visit to PB and will seek out this property and Jonathon. Absolutely A+++++

Close to everything you could possibly want from Big Sur to Santa cruz. Very comfortable house and very good communication with the owner. Only a small issue with the 3rd bathroom having only car port access. But it all worked out great.

We booked this home due to description, location and number of stated beds (6 when booked). There are not 6 beds, only 4 plus a couch. When later questioned about bed count the owner changed the ad to 5 and stated there was also an inflatable air mattress to use on the floor. I brought my own inflatable mattress and we made due but not as described nor ideal. Some of the kitchen utensils and cookware were filthy and uncleaned and the stove does not operate correctly. I clarified if there was a useable BBQ and was told 'yes'. It was so filthy and unkept, being outside in the weather for years, it was not useable which is when we found the oven to not operate correctly. The parking description is also very questionable, with what looked like an abandoned old truck parked in front of the home (not in any of the pics online) and held in place with large rocks under the tires. It blocked two parking spots, making parking our own vehicles more challenging. Luckily I was traveling with my golf buddies and we just make it work, but again not ideal or as described. It is inexpensive. We won't be back.

Very clean property with plenty of parking and room. 2 bathrooms are within the main property and the third one is accessible through the carport. Everything was well laid out and it was a great location. One thing to note though is that there was only one bathroom with a little shampoo. Otherwise plenty of body soap bars and towels.

We were here for a family wedding and the house was great for our family of 6, all adults. The setting is quiet and peaceful. Communication with the owners was easy, fast, and helpful. The house was immaculate and spacious. The kitchen had some nice pantry items. We used the master bedroom, the double bedded room, both beds in the twin room, plus the queen air mattress. All comfortable. Their is also a super comfortable couch that opens as a bed. We shared the two bathrooms in the house and also took advantage of the third bathroom off the carport. We appreciated the space, as well as the helpful suggestions of the hosts. We enjoyed breakfast at First Awakenings in Monterey from their list of suggestions.

We are very happy with our stay at this lovely home. The hosts were very responsive and gave clear instructions. The house was perfect for the six of us former college roommates for our milestone birthday reunion weekend. Two of us shared the master bedroom, two of us were in bedroom with the twin beds, one person for the full size bed, and one person on a high quality queen air mattress. As described, the third bathroom with the washer/dryer is accessible through the carport, so we didn't use that bathroom very much/at all. However, for the six of us who were once roommates, sharing two bathrooms inside the house was not an issue. Located in Pebble Beach, it was an easy drive to nearby sites and restaurants both in Carmel and Monterey.

Just an all-around very nice house. Plenty of room. Comfy living room with big sectional and easy to use TV. Nest heating easy to understand. Very clean. Large dining room table. A small pantry of little things that make everything easier: spices, teas, coconut sugar, salt/pepper. Easy communication with owner (remote owner, my favorite kind, we like our privacy) Comfortable beds, lots of pillows, throw blankets. Plastic wrap, foil. Easy check in/check out. Everything worked well. Once you get the hang of exiting and entering via the Route 1 gate, using Route 1 North - getting to Monterey was easy. Love having a nice washer and drier on hand.

Love love love this location, nice and quiet; so close to everything. Nice clean place, easy parking. We love the backyard sitting, enjoyed our morning coffees there. Jonathan is easy going and got back to our questions right away. Definitely will visit again!!!

Four of us (ages 65+) brought our e-bikes to ride in Monterey and the 17-Mile Drive. This property was perfect for us with plenty of parking, a spacious interior, outstanding instructions, very easy Pebble Beach entry, and incredibly responsive hosts. Between the spectacular scenery, our fun table games in the evening, and just relaxing in the comfortable space, this was an adventure to remember.

We enjoyed staying at this house. It had everything we needed - close to family, Carmel-By-The-Sea, Monterey and Pacific Grove. The beds were comfortable, plenty of room for four adults. My husband was at a conference at the Monterey convention center, and it only took him about 10 minutes to drive there from this VRBO. Home is on a lovely lot and had most everything we needed, though my mother is in her 80’s and would have appreciated grab bars in the bathroom. Sunny back yard with an open green forest behind it. Very private. Owner is very good at communicating if questions arise.

We went to Monterey for our Niece's graduation from the Presidio. We loved staying in the Mayes house. It was very clean and spacious. It is also close to the Presidio (10 minutes) and downtown (15 minutes). We had a great time on the 17 Mile road tour and recommend it highly. Thank you to the Mayes for the teapot and the recommendations on the grocery store.

The setting is very peaceful and it's easy to sequester yourself in a private room for working or reading, or to simply enjoy the large communal space. Highly recommend.
