About this apartment rental
Freshly renovated, beautiful, unique, fully furnished studio condo conveniently located in Downtown Pagosa Springs, Colorado. Walk to Pagosa Hot Springs, the river, walking trails, movie theatre, fantastic restaurants, shopping and more! This unit features a full kitchen with granite countertops and travertine floors, including stove, convection oven/microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator, washer/dryer. The living room features oak hardwood floors, a full sized futon, queen sized murphy bed (w/ new mattress), twin airbed if needed, gas fireplace, and balcony overlooking downtown. Perfect for a relaxing vacation to the Pagosa Hot Springs, Wolf Creek Ski area, or any of the other great adventures Pagosa has to offer!

Incredible spot. We walked right over to some food places and walked to the springs. Great spot, amazing balcony. Amazing communication from the host, what a sweet spot.

Booking, check-in, access were all very easy. The property was as advertised, clean & very nice. Walking distance to several cafes & coffee places, as well as about 2 blocks to river walk.
Down side would be road noise (right on main thruway). Other than that, not too bad, it was terrific.

Took a 2 week road trip with my wife, staying at multiple vacation rentals. This by far was the worst.
Average check in and check out times are 3pm and 11am, respectively. This place has an hour later and an hour earlier than average. Take this into account if you're doing an overnighter.
Parking was confusing b/c the instructions on the fridge give instructions that are not applicable to this rental. Found myself searching for the correct parking spot @1030pm with my cell phone flashlight b/c there's no lights.
Finding the room was difficult b/c the door to the rental says "Reynolds Ash & Associates Architecture and Engineering"... not the door I'd open first to find my home rental. Luckily a shop owner took pity on me and helped me by explaining that he always has to help people find the door to the home rental (I'm not the first confused customer and unless the owner improves communications with the customer I will not be the last).
Every vacation rental we stayed at had coffee grounds for their guests... not this one.
Lastly, the shower drain is maximally clogged. After I showered, I was up to my ankles in water. After my wife showered, she was up to mid shins. When we checked out, the tub had not completely drained yet... yuck.
I gave an extra star b/c location on main street is pretty amazing & the place was immaculately clean. But as you can see from my rating, a renter can't just rely on the property to carry the ratings--> customer experience is more important.

It was a short stay. Very nice. I enjoyed my evening and it was entertaining watching the people scurry along the street below this comfortable apartment in town. In the morning, I went a few doors down for breakfast at Pagosa Bakery, and then took myself on a river walk. Good location. Clean. I felt safe here. The owner or property manager pulled the murphy bed down for me which was very helpful. The studio feels surprisingly spacious.

Great property. Well stocked for kitchen needs and bed linens, very clean, and generally well kept up. The single problem we had was the tv wouldn't work, but the owner tried to work with us to fix it. Everything else was excellent-a comfortable and clean stay for a ski trip.

We loved this little apartment and its amenities. It was cozy, the deck overlooks main st. It was nice to sit out for coffee and meals. It was cool inside with the fan going and overall. Jusy a nice relaxing atmosphere. We would definitely stay there again!!

The property was exactly right for our needs, with one exception: 14 stairs to our room. At 76 and struggling with the altutude, it was difficult. Younger, acclimated people wouldn't be so affected. The washer/dryer was perfect for washing up after a visit to the hot springs. Every other need was met, carefully provided in advance of need. It's a beautiful, comfortable property, perfect for a multi-day stay.

Once we arrived the room was not cleaned from the previous tenants. We had to change our own linens and wash towels. The cleaning fee plus a little more was refunded. The location was perfect and walking distance to everything but would not stay here again due to the cleaning situation. Also make sure to bring your own coffee, there was none when we arrived.

Duke is super responsive and was so helpful about last minute change to bring my pup with me. Great suggestions for the hot springs. Beautifully decorated space with all the essentials. Easy check in and check out. Only two issues I had with my stay…
1- With the spoiled egg smell on my body after hot springs, I just wanted a hot shower. The hot shower literally lasted 5mins. It turned cold by the time I was going to rinse the conditioner out of my hair. Definitely no time for body wash. I had to get out of the shower. In hopes I’d wait 10mins to regain hot water. Didn’t happen.
2 - I wish they’d invest in Roku device. I get that peeps go out there to disconnect. But, I like to watch TV when falling asleep. The DirecTV set up is lame. Just used to Roku or FireStick apps.

Perfect size and amenities for a couple or a family with a couple of small kids. Location was PERFECT! We walked to all the shops, restaurants and the hot springs! The balcony over looks the main street and we really enjoyed sitting out there and people watching. We had a couple of issues with the washer and the dishwasher but Duke sent the maintenance man right over to handle it. The only issue I had, there needs to be a wall clock! The bed was comfortable and there were plenty of blankets to keep warm. The shower has plenty of pressure and hot water. Just know there is not an oven. I did not read carefully and bought stuff to bake in oven. I highly recommend if you are staying in PS, to go down to High Altitude Pagosa and do the ax throwing! So fun!! I would recommend this VRBO to friends and family and hopefully we are going back this summer and can book it again! Thanks for a great stay!!

The only negative is the walls are very thin and there we some very loud people in the condo next to us.

What a lovely apartment. Easy to find and park. Clean. Kitchen had everything we needed. Nice water filter also provided! GREAT LOCATION walking distance to everything in town. Ease of getting around this small town and finding hikes nearby driving. Loved walking downtown around river with our dog. The main road this is on is a little loud during the day, but very quiet at night. Bed super comfortable for two middle aged adults and a dog. Not too soft or firm. Really enjoyed our time here.
