Very impressed with this property, the location was absolutely incredible (only a 10 minute drive to downtown Bar Harbor, and about 5 minutes to major landmarks in Acadia National Park). The amenities were very nice for a cabin, and the wifi was surprisingly quick. Solid price as well, especially compared to some of the motel and inns surrounding the Bar Harbor area.

I was so happy i stumbled across the listing for this cabin a few weeks before my trip. Much larger than the hotel room i had reserved and a tiny bit cheaper. This is located about 4 miles from downtown bar harbor, about 1.5 miles from eagle lake carriage road parking and 2.5 miles from the main park loop road entrance. Great, great location..
Cabin is in great shape. It's a1 br with another room with a futon. Full kitchen with table and a small living room with tv. The bathroom is a little cramped with a round bowl toilet and a stand up shower. It was a little tight for a bigger guy like myself but still easily usable. There is a nice outdoor fire pit right outside the cabin as well, although i didn't get a chance to use it.
The cabin is pretty secluded with only a couple of cabins close by. It's easy to get to and had plenty of property to walk my dog all around it. I am very happy i stayed here and will look for it in future bar harbor vacations.

Nice quiet location close to Acadia entrance. Perfect to get up Cadillac Mountain for sunrise. Close to Eagle Lake carriage trail to hike to Jordan Pond house for a popover before climbing up the bubbles. Will stay here again.

My husband, our Aussie and I stayed here for a week very close to everything especially hiking trails and town. Very quiet stuck in the woods a little would recommend for anyone that wants to visit Maine I would stay here. Easy access to everything that you need. Elisa was great to work with and very easy to get into the rental would definitely stay here again,

This cabin is in a great location to explore Acadia National Park and Mount Desert Island. Having a dog-friendly place was a requirement for us. It's on a quiet street and the outdoor firepit was cozy. The cabin is small (we were a-ok with 2 adults and our dog). The cabin would benefit from a few small updates, like a new mattress and some tile work.

This is a cute spot right on MDI which makes it SO easy to get to all of the trails and into Bar Harbor in 10m.
Everything worked well, just wish it was a little more outfitted with pantry basics - but nothing a trip to the grocery store didn't fix.
Mattress isn't in great condition so it didn't work well for my sensitive husband, but fine for me.
The porch and fire pit are fantastic. Great communications with owner. Overall, a great stay!

Great location. The cabin is small but has everything needed for an enjoyable vacation in Acadia and Bar Harbor. Love the fire pit and wrap around deck. Our family's 2nd time there. We'll be back.

Stone Haven Cabin is a simple cabin but with all of the amenities that you need on a vacation. The cabin is in a nice quite wooded cabin community. The location was great for our exploring Acadia since it was equal distance between Bar Harbor & North East Harbor. We would stay there again.

Great location; fine accommodations
We absolutely loved Bar Harbor and the Acadia National Park. Truly an amazing place to visit. The home was fine. I should have done my due diligence and more thorough research. Nothing was horrible, but nothing was fabulous and for $170+ a night, I suppose I was hoping for more - better beds (they were college-dorm type beds. The shower is the smallest shower ever. There’s just one small sofa, so no place for a third person to sit on the couch. There were enough of all these small issues, that they added up to a lot. This isn’t a huge deal, but I don’t think it would be too much to ask to have an extra roll of toilet paper or paper towels. It cost us $1.50, but I suppose if everyone does that as a necessity, you never have to supply it. Nonetheless, we spent very little time there and it served our purpose. Maine and Acadia are magnificent.

We had an absolutely wonderful time during our stay! The cabin was located in a quiet and beautiful area, yet was close enough to Acadia that we were able to access it very easily. The carriage trails near Eagle Lake were only a few minutes away by car. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay. We hope to return again in the future!

Ideal quiet getaway
This cabin is clean, quiet, and nicely equipped for a week away. While Bar Harbor was crowded just a few minutes away, Stone Haven was peaceful. Highly recommended.

Very convenient location. Very quaint. Good kitchen--small, but well-supplied. Full refrigerator and stove/oven plus microwave. I am glad that the weather was good while we were there as quarters are very tight. This may not be the best place for those with allergies--there was dog hair everywhere. The place had not been vacuumed or mopped prior to our arrival. Caretaker assured us that sheets had been changed and that there had been no cats. She offered to send person the next day to vaccum floors and couch, but that would have not really helped. My son and I loaded up on allergy meds and it was ok. I do not know that there is any air conditioning--but did not try. Luckily, we did not need heat or AC during stay. It was very damp, but I was hesitant to turn on heaters--seems pretty basic, but everything was fine based on the fact we were there in May.
