Woodfearn is a comfortable, spacious home in a wonderful location.

Ground floor:
- Spacious living room with lots of comfortable seating and sunny conservatory.
- Kitchen/diner, fully equipped with fridge freezer, dishwasher, gas hob and electric oven.
- Utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer.
- Double bedroom.
- Shower room.
First floor:
- Twin bedroom with en-suite bathroom.
- Two single bedrooms.
- Separate WC
- Two pull out guest beds (on request).
Outside:
- Large patio with table, chairs and parasol for outdoor dining.
- Steps down to a fully enclosed garden with lawn and shrubs.
- Parking for up to three cars.
- Garage access for secure bike storage (on request ).
- Travel cot and high chair (on request).
- Plastic dog beds (two available).

Included:
- Bed linen.
- Towels.
- Tea towels, dish cloths, washing up liquid, dishwasher tabs in kitchen.
- Liquid soap and toilet roll in bathroom.

The house is just a few minutes walk from open forest and heath, with miles of walking and cycling tracks and new forest ponies on the doorstep.

Sway village has two lovely pubs, two convenience stores, a cafe, a butcher's, and a chemist. The local train station connects to Brockenhurst with fast trains to London, Bournemouth and Southampton. It's a short drive to popular New Forest villages of Brockenhurst, Burley, Lyndhurst and pretty coastal town of Lymington. There are several lovely beaches nearby that are either dog friendly (Hampshire) or allow dogs in designated areas (Dorset).

Lovely comfortable property with plenty of space for young children, parents and Granny. Kitchen diner/ utility formed the heart of the home with good cooking facilities. Good bathrooms and bedrooms.

We spent 3 nights here over easter weekend Plenty of room for 4 adults (one in a wheel chair ) and 2 small dogs The property is right in the heart of the new forest And close to beautiful beach of Milford on sea lovely walks, Plus local shops just up the road Extremely comfortable every thing you will need in the house And bonus of a beautiful garden We were very lucky with the weather Highly recommended place to stay

Lovely, spacious property. Nice outdoor area in back garden with conservatory. Good facilities such as a dishwasher, washing machine and drier. Very well-equipped with both utensils to cleaning products to games and TV/video.Great umbrella shower and crisp, clean bed linen. Situated well as easy to get to Lymington to the ferry for the Isle of Wight, Highcliffe beach and there is a train-line to Bournemouth and Southampton. The only thing which needs improving is the garden chairs as they were a bit dodgy and need checking. We didn't actually have to have any communication with the owner but all access/ TV/WiFi and washing machine info was all easily accessible which was brilliant. Would definitely rent this property again. Highly recommended.

Large, comfortable, well equipped house with a very helpful owner in a great location for seeing the New Forest and coast. We stayed a couple of years ago and couldn’t find anything better when we wanted to come to The New Forest again this year with our baby and 2 year old so we had a second enjoyable stay here.

Nice location, beds very comfy. Found quite a lot of the double glazing hard to open and shut. Two of the bedroom doors would not close and kept banging open and shut whenever we had a window open which was very annoying. A full size ironing board and some more pegs would have been useful as well as there was only a small table top ironing board. Great place to stay to explore the new forest.

Lovely spacious property in a quiet neighbourhood but in the heart of the forest and about 20 minutes to the sea. Good local pub within walking distance. This house needs a little maintenance and has a nostalgic 80’s feel to it, though the appliances are very up-to-date. It is very comfortable and has a lovely outdoor dining area and beautifully planted rear garden full of unusual bushes, shrubs and flowers. We ranged in age from 9 months to 90 years and all of us loved it here. Thank you Helen for a perfect family break.

It was a lovely sized property in a great location for walking and visiting the area. It had all we needed in terms of facilities and was very comfortable. Helen was helpful regarding any questions we had beforehand and when we needed extra help with a problem on our day of leaving was happy to help. We would definitely recommend Woodfearn.

Brilliant location with two pubs, local shops and train station all within a short walk. We loved the homely feel of Woodfearn and the beautiful garden. The house was very clean and had everything you could need. We all really enjoyed our stay here!

Had a fabulous time exploring (cycling) the New Forest. The weather was very kind to us and we clicked about 80 miles of forest trails. The property is in a perfect location to ride from the front door to the “forest” routes. It was very clean and easy to find. There is a secure garage to lock the bikes away. Kitchen set up with everything you should need. Contact with the owner very easy. I would recommend this property, plenty of room for families, we were a party of 2 so we did rattle around 😃 and only needed to use the ground floor. Looking forward to returning.

Lovely, spacious property. Well equipped and cozy, with a beautiful garden. Close to village amenities and to moorland walks. The New Forest is a peaceful and relaxing area. The coast at Milford-on-Sea has particularly stunning views.

The property is lovely BUT the marketing information indicates that there is a BBQ and there isn't. We took BBQ stuff but were disappointed not to be able to use it. The standard of cleanliness was first class.

Large house, great location

This house is really spacious with a lovely large patio and garden. Sway has two fantastic pubs - we ate at both - plus a co-op. Recommend going to Milford for fish and chips from Mister Pinks on the green - there’s free parking on the sea front after 7pm. The double bedroom is downstairs, as is the main shower room which is across the Hall. Upstairs the twin plus truckle bed room has an en-suite whilst the two singles share a separate toilet/sink but no shower. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils, pots, pans and crockery/cutlery. Helen mailed to say the dishwasher wasn’t working the day before we got there; it was due to be fixed after we left. The conservatory is a great place to chill and there’s a good sized garden.

Our second stay at "Woodfearn" has been just as wonderful as last year. The house is large, luxurious and immaculate. The beds are extremely comfortable, the three bathrooms are beautiful with abundant hot water, the kitchen is gorgeous and spacious, the lounge is enormous and the seating is very comfortable. The conservatory is a nice extra and the garden is an absolute paradise. Al fresco meals are a delight as the patio is spacious and surrounded by colourful shrubs. We particularly appreciate the secure garage storage for our six bikes, easy parking out front is also an advantage. A huge Thank You to Helen and Joe!

Had a comfortable stay at this property. Everything we needed was provided for. Location wise this property is great as you can walk or ride into the forest within 5 mins and with a car the coast and other small villages were easily accessible.
