Will never stay at this property again. Everything was broken. The pool didn’t work for four out of our seven days. The communication with the host was unacceptable.

We had a fabulous time staying on 8th ave. Excellent area for walking. Ellisa was very quick to handle anything that came up. Very relaxing and fun. Easy to beach and downtown. Look forward to another visit.

We very much enjoyed our stay. The place is well appointed and was perfect for our small dog who could move around at ease. Very quiet neighbourhood with a 12' walk to the beach. Would certainly return again.
Only drawback is second bedroom not really appointed for an other couple. If a queen bed could replace existing beds, it would be perfect all around.

We loved the house. Great location, impeccably clean and full of every amenity you could want. Only issue was the pool heater wasn’t working. Needs to be addressed. Hope to come back and stay again in future!!

This house was very convenient to our son and everywhere we wanted to visit while in Delray Beach. We’ll definitely stay again when we go again.

Ok property - not really a pool, more like an oversized hot tub. Nice location, seemed safe

We are repeat renters & enjoy the location and proximity to the ocean & Atlantic Ave. The master bathroom was tastefully re-done and deck table & chairs were replaced. The home was great, but I would recommend some attention paid to outdoor deck maintenance & repairs.

Elissa’s place was perfect for our week stay (we wish we stayed longer). Just a quick drive to the beach and downtown. The home had everything we needed, I can’t think of anything it lacked. We had our 19 month-old daughter with us and the place was great for young kids.
The home was incredibly CLEAN, tastefully decorated with comfortable furniture, a practical kitchen with plenty of dinnerware, and comfortable beds + nice bathrooms (great water pressure).
We enjoyed the back patio, though the deck is a little worse for wear the pool was wonderful to have and spend the afternoons in. The grill was an added bonus for cooking in!
I wouldn’t hesitate to book this listing for a great, practical, clean place to stay, close to all Delray has to offer. We’ll certainly book again for future visits!

Well, the pictures look better than in person. The overall space was decent. New appliances, comfortable bed, some extra cleaning supplies and toiletries. Great location.
We were very dissatisfied with the deck area and seating. No comfortable place to sit on the deck and the hot tub pool was either too cool or too hot. Also, the view was an abandoned home.

Great place to stay
Such a cute little yellow cottage. We really enjoyed our stay and Delray! Close to downtown and beaches. Great shopping and eating. The house was great too for a small family such as ours. We’d definitely stay again. Very clean and cute decor.

A mixed bag
We had high expectations for this unit based on previous reviews. The good news is that the location is great, the neighborhood is quiet, and the house has good, well laid-out space and a nice outdoor deck. The unit was adequately-stocked with necessities and had clearly been well-cleaned before our stay. The bed in the master bedroom was quite comfortable. The owner/manager was responsive. The homeowners have small children and have lots of toys and equipment for kids, and the house looks nicely child-proofed. This would be a really good place for people with small kids and/or a dog.
The problem for us is that we are an older couple who like to stay in places that are appealing, attractive, and well-maintained. When we arrived, the hot tub/pool was making loud gurgling noises that we assumed was just something we were going to have to put up with. The temperature of the tub was so high that it was unpleasant to go into it, another thing that we assumed was unchangeable.Florida was having a cold snap and It was cold in the house. We had no idea how to operate a non-user friendly thermostat. We wanted to use the internet but searched for a long time until we found a little piece of paper stuck to the refrigerator with the relevant information. A manual for renters with information about how to operate things in the house would have helped greatly.
For the amount we paid, we would have expected the place to look and feel a little less worn down. The TV was nice but the couch you sit on to watch it looked stained and smelled strongly of dog. The paint on the walls was scuffed, screen doors stuck, some of the blinds were hard to operate. The kitchen table faced an open wire shelving unit full of diapers and cleaning supplies. The deck was piled with toys and had only minimal furnishings - two dirty and uncomfortable plastic chairs and an old picnic table. (Looking out the window we could see nice patio furniture sets on the decks of similar units.) Along the side of the deck the stones in the path were coming loose, and my spouse tripped and fell there. So our advice to the owners is do a little maintenance and updating, put away piles of stuff before renters come, get some nice patio furniture and get the couch cleaned. This place has good bones - it could be really nice and welcoming, but wasn't quite.

Perfect Yellow House
If you want a home on a quiet street, yet, walkable to the beach and fine restaurants, this is the place. Your dogs will love playing on the beach in the late afternoon and walking them around beautiful neighborhoods where everyone you meet is friendly. The house has everything you might need for the beach and when it's cool at night, hop in the hot tub outside on the deck. Publix and CVS are a few block away. Very clean and well stocked for your basic home needs. Could have stayed for another 2 weeks! Will stay longer next year!

Three week stay
house had everything we needed, stayed with my parents and my six year old, pool was great for days we didn't want to leave the house. close to everything. Bunk bed mattress wasn't the best, you can feel the springs, slept on very comfy sofa most nights. gave master to my parents, they loved the king size bed, no remote for tv in kid room. All in all it was a great stay. French Bakery around corner is a MUST!

Pros and cons
Pros:
We could walk to the beach and to Atlantic Ave which was our favorite spot.
The neighborhood was quiet and we felt safe.
The pictures of the inside of the property were accurate.
We loved the amount of space the house had for our 5 person family. 2 full baths made getting ready in the morning a breeze. The 1/2 bath on the bottom floor was helpful.
There were 4 chairs, umbrella and boogie board to use at the beach. That was helpful considering we only brought beach towels to sit on and were planning on buying a boogie board.
The decor was really cute and definitely had a south Florida feel.
There was a diffuser attachment for the hair dryer which is unheard of and I usually have to pack one.
Cons:
Ants in the kitchen and master bath along with roaches which made the kitchen cooking off limits.
Outside pictures were not accurate. There was no hedge privacy in the back and the balcony was not usable. The front nor back had grass.
Cleanliness was below standards. The dryer was not cleaned out and the washer had mold. There was a cleaning towel left on the floor in the upstairs bathroom. The couches were old and dirty.
Minor maintenance upkeep is needed. There were missing light fixtures in ceiling fans, shutter doors were broken, broken blinds, and noisy toilet.
Amenities were not restocked (ie: k cups, detergent, soap)
We chose this house because it had a small pool and a bbq but we did not use that since the kitchen had bugs. We decided to eat out at each meal which was not what we planned to do for dinners. The bugs were unforgivable especially given there were bug traps hidden in the kitchen. Clearly the owner is aware there is a bug problem. We will not return to this property solely based on that fact.

Quiet and relaxing get away
My family of 5 stayed here and it was wonderful. The home provides everything that you could need and more for an extended stay. It is very clean and well maintained in a quiet neighborhood and within walking distance to a grocery store, shops and eateries. The small private pool was a definite plus. Highly recommend .

Great time at Marina Beach Cottage
Ample space for our family of 5. Great safe neighborhood and nice location near the Intracoastal and not a far walk to actual beach. Bit further to walk to downtown Delray but a nice walk. Close to Publix and Walgreen's. We had a fabulous time with this as our home base. Drove to Naples for a day, drove to Marathon for a day. Hung out at beach nearby our rental and enjoyed all Delray Bch. had to offer. Don't miss the restaurant, DADA, and the mojito Mondays after 10pm and the Sail Inn bar near this rental was a cool, old school break from the trendy Atlantic Ave scene. So much to see and do in this area and this location worked perfectly for us to have a kitchen, the teenagers had the bunkbed and the 9 yr. old had the sofa/futon bed, they were all in the 2nd bedroom together but it was enough space plus we were out so much, it was just a place to crash. Nice to have the patio with awning and we bought some floaties for the little pool. It is a larger hot tub/swim spa but it works just fine to float around and relax in day or night. Rental had some extras, like toilet paper which was nice and plenty of regular towels and beach towels. They had some baby things avail. for those with infants, like a stroller and little potty for toddlers. Owner was nice and flexible to let us have late check-out. Our family would stay here again.

Construction in the neighborhood
Location is great. House itself was what we wanted. The problem - noise in the neighborhood. In particular, the house next door was having major work done outside in the back next to the location of the pool. Hammering, sawing, drilling greeted us daily making the backyard an unpleasant place. I paid more than other places to have a private pool and my grandchild hated being outside because of the noise. It was so loud you could hear it in the house. It’s an upgrade to the neighborhood to have upkeep of the houses but it made out relaxing vacation anything but relaxing.

When thinking about our 1 month stay at this property I think the word that best describes it is potential. The location is great with regard to Atlantic Ave and rhe Beach. The unit is a nice two floor townhouse with a nice sized kitchen and a backyard for enjoying the Florida weather, though it could use some privavy screening from the house behind it.. Additionally the property manager is responsive to any inquiries or problems you report which is always welcome when renting a home for short periods of time. However, the place needs some basic upgrades and TLC. 1. The HVAC closet it inside the master suite. When it comes on it makes noise like any HVAC will do. If they installed a solid core door instead of the slatted door they have the noise would be reduced significantly2. There are 3 gates on the property and they all need to be repaired as they have fallen off the hinges or are completely out of square. Especially the main gate that brings you into the backyard and is no longer operable and the deck gate which you have to lift in order to close.3. The sofa and love seat in the living room are old and tired and needs to be replaced. Feathers fly out of them when you sit down5. The deck furniture needs an upgrade. They are structurally stable but they are dirty and sun bleached.6. Some of the deck boards need to be replaced as they are rotting in some locations. Additionally, the lattic that surrounds the deck needs to be nailed back in some locations. 7. The biggest issue we had by far where the Palmetto bugs in the kitchen. An exterminator came within a few days and solved the problem but two weeks later they have reappeared. This is something that needs to be resolved and taken care of on a regular basis. It really turned us off with regard to the property As I stated at the beginning this review the property has massive potentially but it needs to be attended to and some upgrades are badly needed. If these basic maintainence tasks were done on a regular basis the rating would have been 5 stars and we would look to rent again when we are back in Delray. Unfortunately we will most definitely return to Delray Beach but we will not return to this property. It is too bad because the potential for it to be a great property if they are willing to make the investment to get it there.

Wonderful Place to Stay in Delray Beach
Elissa was awesome to work with! She took care of all our needs before, during and even after our stay. The property was the cleanest rental home we have ever stayed in! The cleaning crew deserves a raise! Can't say enough how pleasant our stay was here at this rental! Thank you Elissa for a great vacation!

Good Home Base
A nice place to head to after spending the day visiting relatives. Convenient location. Good space to relax and watch tv, nice bathrooms and comfortable bedrooms with great linens. Kitchen prep area is very small with dishes and cooking equipment on the light side. A nicely stocked Keurig machine was a treat. The pool was a small lap pool. We would have enjoyed the ability to swim laps but the water feature was not available. The host was very responsive to questions and concerns. We would stay at this location again.

Great time
We had a wonderful month in Delray! The cottage is in a great location. The beach, the many restaurants, and the grocery store are very close. The north end of town is much less congested and quiet than other parts of Delray so the stay was relaxing. Elissa was very responsive to our requests which we really appreciated.

Wonderful home away from home
My husband and I had a wonderful month at this lovely home. We wish we were still there in the warm Delray Beach weather. The owners were super responsive to our needs and did everything to make our stay perfect. We look forward to coming back next year!

Great property in an awesome location.. really close to beach
The property is even better than the pictures! The owners were very easy to get in touch with and answered all of our questions before our arrival. They left very clear check in instructions for us which was useful especially since we arrived late at night. The house had plenty of room and was extremely clean when we arrived. We brought our newborn with us and felt there was plenty of room to stretch out and relax. One of the best things about this property is it’s location. We walked EVERYWHERE. Morning walks to get coffee followed by a short 7-10 min. walk to prestine delray beaches. While there are plenty of restaurants around we found we cooked a bit in the fully stocked kitchen. It was clear that the owners have done some nice upgrades including a new back deck. We enjoyed hanging out in the back yard by the pool on sunny hot days. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this property to anyone looking for a great, spacious, and extremely clean place to stay in Delray Beach!

Not What We Expected
This property was probably once a really nice place to stay. It's in a good area near the beach and has a cute exterior. However, when we arrived it was a sweltering 93 degrees inside. I'm not sure why no one bothered to check the AC before we arrived but we spent the first afternoon of our vacation waiting for a repair man while we sat in a sauna. Meanwhile, there was also no internet or TV signal so no way to entertain ourselves. But at least there's a pool to cool down in... Except the deck with the pool has so much dry rot that a rusty screw broke in my foot while I walked around the pool and I almost fell through a rotted board in a separate area. We had to avoid most of the deck completely because it was not only uncomfortable but also dangerous! There's barely any lighting on the deck at night so don't bother to go out there once it's dark, not that you'd want to even in the daylight given the dry rot. After a few days the AC broke again and we spent a night tossing and turning in the summer heat. The property manager was quick to replace the AC unit but by this time we had been highly uncomfortable twice during our stay due to the intense heat. The Internet and TV started working on the last few days but we never felt truly comfortable with the accommodations. Also, if you are over 6ft tall be aware of the ceiling fans, they are on the low ceilings will likely hit you in the face—as a tall person I was constantly in fear of reaching up and getting hit in the arm by one. There were many other little things that just added up to creating an uncomfortable stay. The closet door knob next to the main bathroom was improperly installed so it kept coming off every time my husband tried to open the closet. Despite all of these problems, it was well decorated home with well stocked cleaning supplies and beach related materials (towels, chairs, umbrella, etc.). If the property had been better maintained or if someone had done a simple walk-through to check on the everything it probably would have been a nice stay but as it is we did not enjoy or time there.

Location and comfort....priceless!
Sweet townhouse that is in a fabulous location. Close to glorious Delray Beach and Atlantic Ave. where there is an endless choice for shopping and dining. Surrounded by Boca Raton, Boynton Beach, West Palm and.Palm Beaches there is so much culture at your fingertips. The townhouse is comfortable, top appliances, easy cook-in kitchen. The owners were wonderful and responded quickly to our needs. We would stay again.

Lovely townhouse
We stayed for two weeks and enjoyed every minute. We can't say enough about how comfortable we were in this house. The floor plan was so perfect and the property was supplied with every possible amenity that we would need. We are planning on returning to stay here again next spring.....loved the pool, too!!

Loved this place!
Stayed here in April 2016 and absolutely loved it. We're hoping to go back in July. The little pool was perfect. Beds and furniture very comfortable. 2.5 baths for 2 people felt very indulgent. Our little dog settled right in and felt at home. Delray Beach was awesome! Can we just stay forever???

Wonderful place to stay!
I was in town with my sister for a friends wedding and loved staying in this adorable house! The location was great! We felt very safe! Not far from great shopping and restaurants! This house is so cute! Decorated very well and it was also very clean! The beds were very comfortable! The owner was great to work with and answered any questions very quickly.
We enjoyed a fun meal at DADA- great local restaurant less than a mile from the house! We had a full weekend of wedding festivities so we weren't able to explore the area very much but really enjoyed the afternoon we spent walking and browsing on Atlantic Ave.
