Quintessential Cape Cod Home with AWESOME PORCH
About this house rental
Situated in Barnstable, this attractive house for $450 per night is a great choice for your next break. Come enjoy your Cape Cod vacation in Cotuit with easy access on and off the Cape by staying in a quintessential Cape house that is fully stocked with everything you need to make your stay comfortable and only a 10 minute walk to the beach. Plenty of linens and towels are provided, along with Barnstable beach sticker, beach chairs, umbrella, toys, KAYAKS, life jackets, bikes, helmets, coolers, stationary workout bike, rowing machine, etc. ALSO, Just a short walk (10-15min.) or bike ride to 2 beaches, or about 1 mile away is the home of the Cotuit Kettleers baseball field where you can enjoy some of the best college baseball players play games from June-August . You can also use our beach sticker to park at all the beaches in Barnstable County if you want to explore other beaches. When you first enter the house, you will notice its open floor plan. The inviting family room is open to both the spacious dining area and large kitchen that is furnished with all the comforts of your own home. In the dining room is a white wicker chest that houses some fun games that both adults and kids will enjoy playing. We have also added more games in the front coat closet. The best part of the house though, is conveniently located just outside the new french doors of the dining area...the EXTRA LARGE (approximately 400 square feet) completely screened in porch! If you know the Cape, you know the value of a screened in porch on those muggy days of summer. With its vaulted ceiling, recessed lights, bar, sitting area, and cool breeze the screens allow, this section of the house is perfect for relaxing with your morning coffee, taking a mid day nap, or entertaining in the evening. The porch has recently been converted into a 3 season porch with windows installed during the colder months. The first floor features the first of its 3 bedrooms with its plush, queen size bed and wall air conditioning unit. A spacious remodeled 3/4 bathroom with walk-in shower is located just across the hall. Two washers and two dryers are located in the basement for large loads if needed. Upstairs, you will find two large, seaside decorated bedrooms. Both of these bedrooms include wall air conditioning units. To the left of the stairs is the Master bedroom, furnished with a king size memory foam bed and includes a sitting area to read or watch T.V., as well as a stationary bike (2021). The other bedroom includes 4 twin memory foam beds and is a fun place to have a slumber party. Located between the two bedrooms is a large, full bathroom. Let's not forget the outside! An outdoor shower (2021 new) is located in the backyard! If you have never taken a shower outside, you need to try it! It's an extremely refreshing way to clean up after a day at the beach. A newly relandscaped large grassy yard surrounds the house from the front, to the left side of the house around the porch, and into the backyard, and large front deck was just added. Items included with this rental... 2 Kayaks 2 kid size life vests 1 adult size life vest 4 adult bikes 2 kid bikes 8 Beach towels 8 beach chairs 2 beach umbrellas 1 beach bag, beach toys - All are located in the garage and downstairs bathroom closet corn hole game (located in basement)

We loved this property! The screened in porch is perfect for summer nights. The bikes were such a great addition as the house is in a nice quiet neighborhood. The house is fully stocked and comes with a beach pass. We loved everything about it. Highly recommend for both adults and kids.

Cute house in a Lovely town
The property had lovely landscaping, an amazing, huge outdoor shower, beautiful large screened in porch and a very well equipped kitchen. Everything you would need to cook at home. The little neighborhood grocery store just down the road was adorable and had great food so we went there several times. Very charming and old school vibe. The kids loved to use the nice bikes available to bike around the quiet little neighborhood. We really enjoyed the nearby shopping center Mashpee Commons. It has great shops, restaurants and entertainment.
Check in was quick and easy. The only drawback was the upstairs bedrooms had a musty smell when we arrived for the first night until we aired them out. I am super sensitive to smells and get headaches if there is mildew or mustiness. I know it come with the area near the ocean but It did keep me awake the first night. I presume the house had not been opened up recently so once we cracked the windows the smell dissipated overnight. That was my only complaint but overall I would definitely stay here again. Thank you!

What a wonderful property to spend the waning days of summer! Less than 10 minutes to the beach, and with a great screened in porch, our family had the absolute best time! Cannot wait to return in 2022!

Comfortable stay
Our stay in this cape cod house was exactly what we needed for our 8 week travel assignment. For the 3 of us it was the perfect space, quiet neighborhood, and good location. The neighbors were also really nice, shoveling our walkway when it snowed really heavy one day. The owner was always responsive to any of our needs or when we had questions & kept us up to date about landscaping work that was being done while we were there. We really enjoyed it!

Quaint Rental Property
The house upon arrival was clean and the process to check in was seamless. Plenty of space and beautiful screened in porch. The kitchen and house was equipped with everything we would need. The only thing we noticed was that the living room couch and couch cushions on the porch were a little dirty and musty smelling. I’m not sure if it’s because the house allow dogs to stay at the property or not but you can definitely smell it. Other than that we loved our stay!

We were looking to belated vacation spot as we wanted to ensure the COVID rates are low. And this house was spotless like in a dream! As the weather was cooler we went to Old Silver Beach to swim, as it had warmer water and it was fantastic. I think location is quieter but they have a local walking distance beach, but if you don’t mind a short drive you are very close to Falmouth Main Street and Old Silver Beach. Everything in the house has a nice touch - quality bedding, towels bikes etc. Enjoy your stay and be safe!

We were looking to belated vacation spot as we wanted to ensure the COVID rates are low. And this house was spotless like in a dream! As the weather was cooler we went to Old Silver Beach to swim, as it had warmer water and it was fantastic. The kitchen is a great open space, well stocked with utensils, pots, pans, bowls and dishes. Because our visit was in early fall, the weather was a little cold for swimming but we greatly enjoyed biking and walking in and around Cotuit.
The owner obviously put a lot of work into the guest note/guide book which was overflowing with maps, menus and activity suggestions. Most helpful! In this year of COVID, we really appreciated the relative seclusion of this location, the opportunity to easily cook for ourselves and enjoy a few outings to local restaurants for both outdoor and/or socially-distanced meals. We would definitely come back and recommend this listing to friends and those in search of a thoroughly enjoyable Cape Cod visit.

Lovely Home & Stay
We stayed at this property for our wedding weekend. The house is delightful. It is well stocked with kitchen & beach needs and has a homey feel. There's a binder with suggestions to make the most of your stay. We spent as much time on the porch as possible! It was great for both relaxing with a coffee and celebrating with our family. Carolyn was very accommodating and available if anything was needed (which it wasn't since the house was perfect!). While it is tucked away on a quiet street, it is also a very close to anything you would need - beach, food, groceries, etc. We would definitely recommend this home and hope to go back!
