This was our third stay at this wonderful cottage. Even our young adult sons (23 and 21) love coming here. Thank you so much Peggy and Jim.

We enjoyed our stay in Newport. The cottage was beautifully decorated, had all the amenities and was right on the water yet close to town. There were nearby restaura nts, Hannaford and Walmart if you forgot anything. We loved being on the water to go fishing and kayaking. The location was very peaceful and quiet. We loved our time there and hope to be back next year.

My husband and I spent last week in the cabin. It is so beautifully decorated, very comfortable and the hosts left so many helpful things for us - coffee, soaps,TP, spices, and other essentials. It was our first time to fly to Maine, so it was very appreciated. The property is so tidy, and the lake is lovely. We enjoyed kayaking and watching the gorgeous sunsets. It feels like you're right on the water when sitting inside. The whole week was just wonderful. Thank you Jim and Peggy.

We returned to this cottage again this summer and had another amazing, restful and fun week. Cottage was ready before official check-in. It’s pristine and has everything you need from kayaks to an extra toothbrush just in case. We enjoyed games, reading, swimming, campfires, grilling and kayaking. We are already booked for next summer!

Everything about our stay, with the exception of the weather, was perfect! It is a wonderfully great place, renovated & decorated exceptionally. The proximity to groceries & eating establishment was great. We ate at The Angler, Cevesas, Harvest Moon Deli, & pizza froma wood fired truck at local comvenience store- all recommended, Places to visit included Dragonfly Winery-excellent, Moores Lavendar Farm- lovely but would have been better on a dry day. Peggy & Jim had everything available for an enjoyable stay, including indoor & outdoor games. Our dog enjoyed the deck & dock. Great place for a small family or just a couple looking for a quiet retreat. CAUTION only regardjing the road in; it is a camp road with many, many potholes, so rough drivew for the short distance in from the main road.

This property is absolutely beautiful! You wake up every morning directly on the lake. Outside has every accommodation you can think of, deck, bbq, fire pit, dock, beach area, kayaks, horseshoes, and anything you can think of. Inside has been updated perfectly with just the right amount of space for a family of 4. The owners have thought of any and everything you could need and it is provided! My toddlers woke up every day begging to get in the lake. We loved it so much we already booked it for next summer!
