About this cabin rental
This pine shaded log cabin sports a family style layout: a fully updated kitchen, a large dining table, a wood burning stove, and a private fenced yard. The comfortable living room features a fold out sofa and satellite TV with all the channels DISH offers. The master bed/bathroom is downstairs with a king bed. There are two bedrooms and one full bathroom upstairs, one full/twin bunk bed and one king bed. Sip a cool beverage on the front sitting porch, and watch the neighborhood deer walk past, while your kids shoot hoops on the basketball goal in the driveway, or safely play with your dog in the fenced yard. Relax...after all you're on vacation!

We have stayed here 4 times because it ideal for families. This house is perfect for one or two families with children. The house is very clean, has answered any and every question we have within 10 minutes. Perfect location…grocery store within 3 minutes, fenced backyard, 5 minute to tow for shopping, great restaurants, fun stopping spots and everybody is helpful finding places to hike, fish, shopping and great entertainment spots. We always feel at easy…can’t find a better host, location and an house that will make you feel right at home!!

Our vacation in Ruidoso was made even more wonderful by having such a wonderful home away from home. From the central location to the large double lot with a fenced backyard, we couldn't have picked a better place. The property inside and out were clean & well cared for. Inside you enter into an open living/dining/kitchen area. All the items you would need in a kitchen. Beds are very comfortable. Grocery store 2 minutes away. Loved how the deer are so comfortable to visit and lounge around the property. We absolutley will book this home again we visit Ruidoso later this year. Thank you Mona & Kalin for making this stay perfect. Oh yeah, our dog Toby loved this place as well. He felt safe & comfortable while we left him alone.

I was beyond delighted to find that the cabin was even better the photos. I didn’t expect to get so emotional walking in especially after seeing they also had a Christmas tree for us in the living room but I was tearing up! It was more than what I could’ve imagined. We have never been able to make a trip like this before and I am so thankful to have been able to give my kids the holiday they deserve while staying here. It was truly the most perfect way to spend our first White Christmas as a family. Thank you again from the bottom of our hearts! We loved it so much ❤️

We had an amazing time. The cabin was perfect for our family. You feel almost isolated, but you are conveniently located to everything! The day we arrived a herd of Elk welcomed us by walking across the back tard and down to the golf course. So Amazing!

My husband and I met another couple for a 4 night stay in Ruidoso. We honestly were concerned about the state of the property because the appearance of the Cabin in the first photo indicated possibly that the property might be run-down. Well, we were way to judgie.... this Cabin is top tier. Inside this hiome is a large walk thru kitchen, spacious dining, large comfortable great room and the three bedrooms very spacious as well. The most important feature of this rental is the level of cleanliness, not only of the floors, furniture and bathrooms, both all four of us commented on the cleanliness of the appliances, especially the refrigerator. Just like new. The location is perfect. One of our friends ran the Half Marathon during our visit so the the hot tub was a necessity.... and that too was spotless. We will stay again.

Overall we enjoyed the property. The sofa sleeper needs to be replaced and backyard needs upkeep (lots of spiders and all weeds and dirt). Otherwise it was a cozy cabin and spacious enough for our family get together.

This property was absolutely perfect for my family’s spring break in Ruidoso! It exceeded expectations in every aspect: cleanliness, amenities (hot tub!!), location, & comfort! Fenced yard was great so that we could bring our dogs too!

This was our second time staying here and we already have another weekend booked. We love this cabin. It’s very cozy. Perfect location! Very responsive host. Fenced backyard which is very hard to find. The cabin has everything we needed. It’s very well equipped. Great for families and pets.

Loved the size of house, large kitchen and bathrooms, desk in each room and fenced yard for our dog. It was close to town and had a great heater to keep us warm.

My family and I had a great time! The cabin was wonderful. We spent a lot of time playing games, walking in the neighborhood and making great meals. We loved seeing all the deer trotting thru the yards and being surrounded by the huge trees and mountains. The neighborhood has a small grocery store in walking distance to our cabin which we visited several times and had a great variety of food. The owner of the property was in contact with us immediately asking if we needed anything. That was really nice. I highly recommend this cabin. Our Christmas was perfect!!!

This is a first class get away. Rustic but not worn. Comfortable but not tacky. Total kick back and don't fret a thing. Everything works, everything is well appointed. No surprises and no gimmicks. Just what we needed to decompress and recharge! This is our second stay - more to come if this property is available.

Enjoyed our stay at this spacious cabin with 3 bedrooms/2 bathrooms. Watching the local deer from the porch/patio was an added treat. Plenty of room for a gathering of 8 for a meal. Modern appliances in the kitchen a plus! Will return in the future. P

Feels very hard to the first touch but was quite comfortable after laying down and getting used to it. Fantastic front porch. Basketball and hoop were nice to have. Garbage disposal switch was hard to locate at first, but it’s under the sink. Great place! Highly recommend it. Well worth the money! Check out the bakery in town and the fresh squeezed orange juice!
