About this house rental

Come and enjoy HIGH POINT. A very large and comfortable 6 bedroom, 5 1/2 bath, BEACHFRONT home with breathtaking views of the sand and surf. Come and bring the whole family, High Point will accommodate up to 17. The master bedroom has a king size bed, fireplace, 42" TV, and own bath. 2nd bedroom has a king with 42" TV plus own bath, 3rd bedroom has a king with 42" TV plus own bath, 4th bedroom has king with 42" TV and a shared bath, 5th bedroom has a pyramid bunk with 42" TV/ and a shared bath, the 6th bedroom has 3 built in bunks with 42" TV/DVD plus own bath. The open floor plan on the main level makes this house wonderful. While the guys are watching their football game on the big screen TV, the lady's can cook their famous meals in the gourmet kitchen. The kitchen has 2 ovens, 2 dishwashers, microwave, Blender and Coffee Makers (drip and Keurig). Other amenities - central air and heat, washer/dryer, stereo with CD, DVD, apple TV, surround sound in living room and speakers throughout house, wireless internet service, 2 fireplaces (one in living room and one in master bedroom), large decks overlooking the gulf. Elevator. Linens provided. No Pets and No Smoking. House is located on private beach and only three miles from the seawall. Close to the seawall for eating or shopping but far enough for quiet private non-driving beach! No Weddings, PROM, graduation or large parties/events allowed.

DISCLOSURE: Your safety matters to us. To monitor for trespassing, sand dune damage and/or theft, five exterior visible security cameras survey the driveway, the garage doors, the elevator room door, and the all important sand dune. While these exterior cameras are never actively monitored during a guest’s stay to protect the guest’s privacy, the cameras are recorded and the homeowner may review recordings as necessary.

The house worked well for my family. It was comfortable and clean. We enjoyed our stay there. Having an elevator was great. My knees are getting old and the elevator saved a bunch of going up and down the stairs.

The house was beautiful and filled with every accommodation we could think to ask for. There were enough rooms that everyone had their own. The kitchen was properly stocked for us to have a stay in day and cook. The beach access was beautiful and well maintained. The elevator helped with our disabled and elderly family members. I would highly recommend staying here.

We are 7 siblings and 4 spouses, all over 65. What a great place to meet! We used the elevator for luggage and an occasional ride, took walks on the beach, sat around the dining room table drinking coffee or playing games, lounged on the deck, and found local activities to enjoy. The kitchen was well-stocked and easy to work in, and connected to the great room so we were together all but when we slept or napped. Then we had privacy. There are a lot of games there, which we didn’t see in the listing. Great place.

Perfect location. close to grocery stores, Strand area and most importantly right on the beach. Big rooms and lots of them. Plenty of elbow room for our 11 family members. Well appointed kitchen. Room at the table for everyone. Even the little ones have their special place. Loving this beautiful house.

We had a fabulous stay with extended family - which included 9 adults, 5 kids. We loved being right on the beach and being able to spread out. Sand toys were supplied ! It was so easy to wake up in the morning and take walks on the beach and watch the sunrise. Super easy for kids to go on the beach. Not crowded- our own private beach ! Kitchen well stocked. We are already planning a trip back !

Our family came together from all over the country to celebrate my daughter turning 16. We had such an amazing time. Everyone had their own private bedroom and bathroom and we were all so comfortable. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed and there was more then enough linens and towels. The views from the balconies were breath taking and the beach access was perfect. I highly recommend High Point for a relaxing beach front vacay.

The elevator was a real plus for getting ALL the food, luggage, drinks, etc up & down the stairs. We were 12 adults (ranging in age from 28-78) & 4 children under 3. We loved being able to all sit together for the evening meals - the table was great! It had pretty much everything we needed. Lovely sunrise/sunsets. Would definitely stay again!

For a 3-generation family (15 of us), this house far exceeded our expectations! The house was well equipped with most everything we needed. The view was beautiful. Access to beach was easy and close. The bedrooms were well appointed and comfortable. We were close enough to town to go see the sights but far enough out to feel the privacy of the beach. We can’t say enough about our stay other than it was the best yet compared to our other Galveston stays. Kudos to the owners…absolutely beautiful property!

The house is beautiful. It was perfect for our annual girls' trip. We had a problem with the air conditioner on the 2nd day but it was fixed within a couple hours. The view of the beach is perfect.

Only negatives were a water leak in the bathroom when we got there and no internet for a couple of days until my son finally fixed it. Very spacious house with comfortable beds and well equipped kitchen. In spite of the negatives we enjoyed our stay.

From start to finish, renting this property was an excellent experience. The house hosts and property managers were easily accessible, helpful and friendly. The house was clean, comfortable, well stocked snd decorated beautifully. Our family of 11 adults had plenty of room to hangout together inside by the fireplace and outside on the deck. The private beach front location and views were perfect. We loved our stay there and wished we had another day - we’re already talking about dates to come back next year!

Perfect place for family gathering with plenty to do on the beach and necessities close by! Built sandcastles, play in the warm water, walk the beach, and enjoy the view! We would do it all again! Our host was very responsive to details and the property is located on a private beach making it more appealing.

This house is perfect for direct access to the beach. Definitely like the accommodations and the house was pretty well stocked with the basics. The elevator was essential to our stay due to my mothers inability to do stairs. It worked great . The house does needs a little TLC in porch and ground level common areas. Otherwise no major issues . Highly recommend! Also, I can’t say enough good things about the host/home owners. My sister left a baby bag on accident at the house after we left. They picked it up for us and met us to get it to us . Really appreciated the above and beyond hospitality!

This was a great property for all ages. We had children as young as 1 week up to 5 years old plus parents. Access to the beach was amazing and the house was great. We all had lots of room. Great accommodations. Well stocked home.

We loved this house! Plenty of room to spread out, comfortable beds and lots of bathrooms. It felt like a private beach and we felt very safe with our children because no cars drive on the beach. My dad was able to sit on the porch and watch his grandchildren play in the waves. Very nice kitchen space to cook meals together. Highly recommend this place!

We had a great time. House was very clean and organized with a lot of supplies to help with stay. Check in was easy and she even let us in early due to 18 month old having rough day with road trip. Stairs are very dangerous in property. We had 3 people trip and fall on the raised edges. Locks on all bathroom doors do not work.
