For your peace of mind, we have improved our infection control strategy thorough disinfecting of the suite with natural alcohol based products. We use environmentally friendly cleaning products to avoid any sensitivities you might have.
Relax in a beautifully finished two-bedroom suite including laundry and a four piece bath with heated tile floors to give you a truly home away from home experience.
This 1000 square foot suite has been recently renovated with an emphasis on clean, simple lines while not sacrificing the character which is achieved through special touches like hundred-year-old reclaimed fir doors, prominent fir trim, and natural light solar tubes.
There is a BBQ on the patio, if you enjoy cooking outside. Next to your patio is an organic herb garden for the gourmet in your group.
Between the extra sound insulation and comfortable king and queen sized beds you can be assured that you wake up refreshed. A full queen sized sofa bed is also available for groups of more than four people.
The private entrance opens onto reclaimed brick patio area for a morning coffee, an 'al fresco' barbecue or evening nightcap.
Continental breakfast is included in the price, if you booked after February 13th, 2022. We serve local bagels, cream cheese, eggs, yogurt, butter, cream, juice, instant oatmeal and fruits in season. If you have any dietary restrictions, please let us know before your arrival.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! It was very peaceful, clean, beautiful and we enjoyed the fully equipped home including a: full kitchen, breakfast provided, and a soaker tub too! Luba was a fantastic host checking in with us to make sure that we had what we needed and were comfortable. It was a very short drive to Ganges and easy access to the main road.

It's hard to know where to start, I'll start by saying that I would recommend Mossy Hill to anyone that needs accommodations on Salt Spring Island! We felt we had the privacy we needed and the amenities were excellent. The beds and pillows(which are very important)were excellent, the view from the picture window in the living room was amazing. We used the BBQ and as we were there for a family wedding we had guests in from time to time and there was plenty of room to entertain. Although we started out concerned that there was no air conditioning we found that we didn't need it even though the temperature outside was 30 degrees. Overall we were super happy with everything to do with Mossy Hill!!

Luba‘s place is an exceptional bed-and-breakfast. It is spotless and a lovely decorated accommodation. The artwork around the unit is amazing. And the garden that you look at through the living room window is gorgeous. The kitchen is well stocked to make any meals that you need. The area is lovely and quiet and convenient to Ganges.

This property suited us well! It was modern, yet warm and cozy, and had plenty of room for our daughter and her 2 year old son, my husband and myself. The picture window looked out on a beautiful garden, the bathroom had a heated floor for chilly mornings, the kitchen was large and well equipped. Our hosts were wonderful!

Luba was an excellent host, she was very welcoming and accommodating! The property is so nice inside and out, multiple other reviewers have said this but truly the pictures don’t do it justice. It was really great to have our own outdoor space and BBQ, we ate outside for almost every meal. We were travelling with our toddler and it was amazing to have the booster seat and pack-and-play available. We would definitely return for another stay!

We stayed at the suite with another couple. The place was beautifully finished and decorated. The kitchen had everything we needed for meal prep. The beds were comfortable. Even though this is a suite in a house, it is very private with your own driveway, patio and entrance. As well, you get a beautiful view of the flower garden from the living room window. The location of the suite is just a few minutes drive from Ganges and very central on Salt Spring Island. We would recommend this place to anyone travelling to Salt Spring Island!

This beautiful retreat surpassed my expectations. Luba was so welcoming upon our arrival and was available for anything we may have needed. The inside of the apartment was very clean, nicely decorated and very, very comfortable. I loved the big window overlooking the gorgeous garden. This was a perfect base from which to explore Salt Spring Island. The property is well appointed, with everything you could possibly need, is very comfortable and beautifully located. Bruce and Luba were very easy to deal with. We loved our stay and would not hesitate to recommend it. One comment though is that the sofa bed, whilst very comfortable, is a little tight for 2 adults so it might be more accurate to say that it sleeps 5 rather than 6.

This place is a little gem! There is a lovely view from the living room window with glimpses of the ocean! The whole suite is very well equipped, tidy, clean and well maintained. The bedrooms are both a nice size and have comfy beds. The quiet location was ideal for us (2 adults and 2 young kids), just a few minutes drive to the beach or to town. Luba and Bruce were both very friendly and welcoming. They were attentive when we needed help and gave us our space otherwise. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Well-kept property and host was friendly and helpful. Very clean and nicer than I'd expected. We found everything we needed inside. We'll be back if we visit the Island again! Note for travelers with large groups: the pull-out sofa bed is somewhat short (I'm guessing 170 or 180 cm long), which worked fine for our children, but larger adults would have difficulty with it.

Close to the main town on Salt Springs, Ganges, so vey convenient to shopping, which there are many wonderful spots to spend your vacation dollars. Our two day stay on the Island was not long enough. Not a big Island but much to see and do. Loved the Salt Springs Cheese operation And all the artists we meant while visiting the Galleries on the Artist tour. The weather was perfect. Food fantastic. We will be back.
