LOCATION – This quaint home, located right on the Breckenridge Free Ride Shuttle is only 2 blocks from Main Street. It is an easy walk to the Breckenridge Ice Arena for ice skating, and Carter Park is practically in your backyard where you can enjoy tubing and sledding. The shuttle stop is located on the corner of French Street and Jefferson Avenue right outside of the property (See Satellite Overview in Photos).
AMENITIES – This three-bedroom home provides guests with excellent amenities throughout. The chef of the group can prepare dinner in the kitchen while others can cozy up to the fireplace or large flat screen TV in the living room close by. There is plenty of privacy in the lower level bedroom where you can relax and watch a movie on the flat screen TV in the living area or get to bed early in the captain’s bunk and sleeper sofa. Guests can find relaxation in the private hot tub on the back patio while others can enjoy sledding at Carter Park only a block away.

We loved the ease of walking to Main St, Ridge St, Carter Park for pickleball, etc - hardly used our car; however being on the corner ata 4-way stop intersection - it was very loud with trucks, etc starting early morning around 6am - especially because we had to sleep with windows open since no A/C in July - so just be aware. We would shut windows as soon as we heard first trucks but still pretty loud. Still enjoyed our vacation but would have loved it even more if it was a quieter spot.

Location of this property was great. It was perfect for walking to all the shops, and there was even a playground next-door that my toddler loved. However, we rented this home because it was a pet free home and upon arrival all the rugs and couches were covered in dog hair. My husband and daughter are extremely allergic so we had to get management to come clean the dog hair up. Fortunately they had someone out very quickly. The home had a lot of great amenities and I think the only complaint I have is all of the pillows were extremely flat , so maybe some better options would be the only thing I would change.

Nice house in a great location! Easy access to multiple free bus routes with a bus stop at the intersection in front of the house. We were able to walk to the grocery store a block away and the main street shops only 2 blocks away!

The house is in a perfect location right in the middle of town. Easy drive or even walk to the ski lifts, market, and downtown restaurants and shopping. The house had a ton of space with three levels, bedrooms on each level giving enough space for any guests. We’d gladly stay again!

This was my family’s 3rd summer trip to Breckenridge and we had wanted to stay at a home that was conveniently situated off of Main Street. This house was perfectly located just 2 blocks off of Main and within walking distance to everything!!
The house was very comfortable for 4 adults and a 10 yr old. The hot tub was a favorite in the evenings and the front porch was great for having coffee on those chilly mornings.
We had a very enjoyable stay and look forward to visiting again next year!

We had a great stay at this property! The house is exactly as described, comfortable beds and super nice having 3 full bathrooms. The location is perfect. We were easily able to walk to all of the conveniences of Main Street. There is also a grocery store only a block away and an elementary school right next door, which my young kids loved. A word of caution though for those traveling with very young children - there are two full flights of stairs, one of which is hard wood floors. We can't wait to come back!

Had an awesome time In Breckenridge - Loved our stay at the Apres Chalet - Everything was there as promised!!! The house was ready when we arrived - having a door with an electronic lock was very convenient. The property was awesome and was so much better than being stuck in a hotel room. We walked two blocks and we were in the center of town. Having a parking spot was also convenient. After day 1 we walked out our door and across the street to grab a bus that dropped us right at the lift.We had everything we needed - plenty of towels - appliances - etc.5 Stars and well worth it - I would highly recommend this property!!!!! Very clean and nicely decorated.

Our stay was relaxing in the Apres Chalet. Just as it is named there is lots to do after a day of skiing in Breckenridge. The chalet is convenient to walking to town and the shuttle is right outside the door. The fireplace and radiant heat made the house feel like home. The kitchen had everything needed to cook meals in at night. The hot tub was an added bonus! Service was friendly and questions were answered in a timely manner. Would definitely stay here again.

Perfect. House is across the street from a wonderful playground and Carter Park. Supermarket is one block away. All of downtown Breck is walkable with small children, including gondola lift. Perfect location and set up for family.

Location! Location! Location! Walking distance to main street & grocery store. Perfect set up for family with teens. We look forward to staying there again. Check in & out was super easy. Staying during the summer the house needs more fans. Other than that, it was perfect.

We had a wonderful experience at Apres Chalet! It had plenty of space for the four of us to relax, and the hot tub was such a great feature! It is in a great location just 3 blocks from Main Street so we were able to walk to the mountain, restaurants and shops, but it is tucked into the neighborhood that is quiet and relaxing. There is a great market a block away which was helpful for the essentials.

Cute and quaint home located just off Main St. We stayed for a long weekend and were able to walk to dinner, shops and spa. We also skied off the mountain and had a short 1/2 mile walk back to the hot tub. Only small negatives are the hot tub is a bit exposed to the side road and only one parking spot (which is noted clearly in the description). We were very happy with our last minute reservation and experience.

Our family of four stayed at Apres Chalet for two weeks in August. The home was beautiful. The kitchen was supplied with plenty of plates, silverware, cups, etc. The bathrooms had plenty of towels. We found the broom and cleaning supplies easily. There was even a leaf to make the kitchen table bigger if necessary. The location to town and the nearby market was perfect! The hot tub was a nice perk and easy to use. We loved our time spent in this home and hope to visit again soon!

Our crew of 7 were very comfortable during our stay. When at the property, we spent the majority of our time on the front porch. Very comfortable there, except the patio furniture isn’t ideal for a party of 7. We brought an extra collapsible chair but there still wasn’t room for everyone. But, it was still a very nice experience.
The grill appeared to be very new, so the prior reviews that panned the grill were N/A to us.
We would try to book this property again.

We loved the location and many things about the house. But, the lighting was so dim in the kitchen it was hard to see. Only 2 spoons and three forks for us all. No aluminum foil or plastic wrap. No dustpan for pick- up. Dining table only seats four but there were a few more of us. Yard needs weeding. Sorry to report but we use VRBO often and haven’t ever had this experience.

Great property. So close to Main Street and across from the shuttle drop off. Loved having the basement for all the teenagers to sleep and hangout. Wish there was more seating at the table and in the living room - those are my only complaints!!

Perfect Location, Space & Amenities!
Property is as described. Upon arrival the home was clean and fully equipped with everything for our stay. We did have some lights not working downstairs due to a fuse but when I contacted the property they quickly sent someone right out to fix it! Communication could not have been easier when I also had questions about parking off site. Although we stayed in the summer when there is typically no AC in Breck homes, the amount of windows allowed for cool evenings and lots of fresh mountain air. Nice easy walk into town. I am saving this gem as a favorite!

Great location, great house
Great location close to city shuttle, overall a great house, enjoyed the hot tub, a more comfortable couch would be a great addition, also the sleeper sofa on bottom floor was not used due to not being comfortable, have decided that in future will not count sleeper sofa as bed, that goes for anywhere, house was well equipped otherwise.

We enjoyed our stay more than we expected.
I did read the comment about not enough seating and found a table leaf in the hall closet. Using the two barstools and the four chairs we were able to have all 6 of us sit down to eat together.
The front porch was nice, within walking distance from the grocery store and walkable to downtown. We will stay here again.

Great location, good facilities, nice linen and comfortable bedding
The major issue we had at the property as the limited seating available for a property that can accommodate upto 8 guests, The 4 piece dining did not allow for all us (6 pax) to sit together for a family meal, also the 3 seater lounge and 1 single lounge chair was not adequate fro 6 guest. After a long day of skiing you either had to sit on the floor or sit in the dining chair which was not that comfortable for relaxing.
