About this house rental
Beautiful and modern 3 bedroom 3 bath townhouse (one side of duplex) with 5 minute walk to beautiful Topsail Island beach. Public beach is two and a half blocks away, with public parking if needed. Come see why TripAdvisor rated Surf City on Topsail Island number 5 on their list of top 20 affordable beach destinations across the US - and USA Today top 10 uncrowded beaches! Strictly NO PETS. They WILL be reported by the HOA and you will have to leave. NO PARTIES (The Sheriff will be called). The home has a private outdoor shower with hot and cold water. Two beach chairs, a beach umbrella, boogie board, and beach kid's toys are provided. The home is right on the intracoastal waterway (sound) so you can kayak, standup paddle board (SUP), and fish or crab right out the back door and enjoy beautiful sound views and stunning sunsets from the home and two decks. Community dock right behind home for sunbathing, kayaking, SUP, fishing, enjoying the view or reading a book. Den, kitchen, one bedroom, and bathroom are on the first level (second floor). Master bedroom with ensuite bathroom and 3rd bedroom and 3rd bath are on the second level (third floor). Ground level is a car port that holds 3 cars. Two kayaks, two bikes, two stand up paddle boards, a 2 person canoe, light fishing rod (bring your own tackle), crab net, and golf clubs are provided free for guest use! The home is 1/2 mile from the heart of Surf City shops, pier, and restaurants - so you can walk, bike, or kayak to town! No need to get in your car after you arrive! Only 2-4 night minimum - depending on season, not a week like many beach homes - and you can check in on any day of the week that's available! The cleaning fee includes linens (sheets and towels) - so they will be provided (unlike many beach homes where you have to bring your own or obtain a separate service). Check out our affordable seasonal rates! Sleeps 7 (6 in beds, one on "floor bed cushion" which is best for a child). Bedroom arrangement: master bedroom: queen bed, bedroom 2: queen, bedroom 3: 2 twin beds - can be put together if desired. Free wifi. 3 TVs with cable (1 DVR), one Ruku with guest mode. There is a propane gas grill. There is a private outdoor shower with hot and cold water (for after the beach). The nearby beach is perfect for swimming, body surfing, sunbathing, boogie boarding or surfing. If you want to jetski in the sound, tell Surf City Jetski Rentals you're staying at So Much Fun! and get $10 off your rental! You can't dock jetskis or boats at our dock (kayaks/johnboats only), but it's only a 15 minute kayak paddle or a 10 minute bike ride to the jetski place on the water in Surf City. Outdoor shower may not be available from October to March due to winterization. Boat ramp and marina nearby for fishermen, cruising the ICW, jetskiers, and skiers. You can rent surf boards and more kayaks and SUPs at Herrings Outdoor Sports next door. We loved our stay. Owner was very responsive in reservation process. House was everything we wanted- clean with all the amenities. The owners go out of their way to make the stay comfortable and it is evident the care and thought they have taken to make sure our stay went well. My favorite part was the back deck overlooking the intercostal.
Definitely will look to stay here again!

We loved our stay here. The views of the salt marshes are incredible, it’s quiet, near the beach, and comes with fun amenities like kayaks and bikes. It’s also walking or biking distance to town. Overall a great place.

The unit is beautiful! The sunset over the intercoastal waterway is breathtakung. The kayaks and canoe are an added bonus. Just a short walk to the beach. Roku tv offers options for viewing. We will be back!

We had a blast staying at this home in Surf City. Great location with gorgeous sunset views off the deck every night. The walk to the beach only took a few minutes and everything you could possibly need was there for you. Everything was wonderful, our family would definitely stay here again!

We enjoyed our stay in Surf City at this location. The place was very clean and we were able to walk to the beach and various dining locations! So Much Fun was spacious, very clean, and extremely well stocked. The home had everything we needed! The decor was beach themed and very tasteful. We loved meandering through the beautiful tidal creek on the kayaks provided by the owner. The beach was a short 5 minute walk. Restaurants and shops are in walking distance. We enjoyed quiet mornings and breathtaking sunsets on the back porch. A great place to stay if you visiting Topsail Island!

We had an amazing vacation at the So Much Fun beach condo. Everything was as described. The condo is spotless, the kitchen is stocked, the beds were comfortable and the view of the sound is beautiful. We were able to communicate immediately through the VRBO app with the owner when we had a question. Wonderful trip!

Great location and amenities
This location is wonderful - the view over the inter-coastal is great for watching wildlife and relaxing. It’s walking distance to the main part of town and comes with kayaks for an added bonus. Everything was very clean and having a washer/dryer is a great for any unexpected messes. The kitchen is fully stocked so eating in is easy. We loved this rental and have already booked another trip!

This was by far one of the best trips we have ever taken to the beach! The home is beautiful. It’s laid out perfectly for families and it was spotless. The owner is very responsive and provides many amenities like bikes, a canoe, paddle boards, etc. It’s a short walk to the beach too so there’s no need to drive to the beach. He also provides a beach cart which made bringing all of our stuff to the beach a breeze. The island itself is beautiful with lots of places to eat and many dining and shopping options within walking distance and many more just a couple of miles away. The home is also outfitted with high speed internet and multiple tv’s with Roku which came in handy on the one night we had rain. We’d recommend this property to anyone!!! Absolutely beautiful.

This was by far one of the best trips we have ever taken to the beach! The home is beautiful. It’s laid out perfectly for families and it was spotless. The owner is very responsive and provides many amenities like bikes, a canoe, paddle boards, etc. It’s a short walk to the beach too so there’s no need to drive to the beach. He also provides a beach cart which made bringing all of our stuff to the beach a breeze. The island itself is beautiful with lots of places to eat and many dining and shopping options within walking distance and many more just a couple of miles away. The home is also outfitted with high speed internet and multiple tv’s with Roku which came in handy on the one night we had rain. We’d recommend this property to anyone!!! Absolutely beautiful.

If you don’t want to splurge on an ocean view, this is an affordable option to still get a stunning getaway feeling. Plus—we found it even more stunning than beachfront! The rooms are spacious and the beds very comfortable. Myself, my partner, and my mom took the kayaks out on the inter coastal waterway—so fun! The rental had everything we needed. Bikes were a fun addition to go to the pier and grab lunch. Covered car port is nice cause the car was never hot when we left. The welcome book was extensive and gave us lots of great ideas for activities. The patios were the perfect spot to have coffee in the morning and a glass of wine at night. Great, easy location to get to restaurant and shops of surf city. A stunning getaway and I would rent again! The hosts are kind and thorough!

We are living local to the area and had friends come in town from Florida and NY to celebrate my fiancé’s 30th. It was perfect! The upstairs balcony was the cherry on top for us. They had board games which we def. utilized. We were able to cook a full birthday dinner with the stocked kitchen. Thank you for this place! Trying to make it a yearly thing.

Shaka Taco was great for dinner, the New York Corner Deli was a great breakfast spot a short bike ride away--good bagels (coming from a New Yorker!), and Gallaghers/Highwaters is a great bar restaurant which is walking distance from the house. We used the kayaks a few times and the bikes almost daily. We have rented often on the Jersey Shore and elsewhere and this place is top notch!! We would've loved to have stayed longer!! The 3 Bedrooms, 3 baths, kitchen, and the outdoor shower are all pristine! The sunsets off the back decks are spectacular!! Communication with the host was great. Highly recommend!! Thank you! Myself and my 4 kids had a wonderful time at this property. The unit had everything we needed and more. The walk to the beach was not bad at all, even carrying bags and various items.
The unit was clean and well maintained. I would definitely recommend this property for families!

So Much Fun!
So Much Fun offers the best views of the Sound side with beautiful green flanked water ways. It is so peaceful to kayak to the bridge and enjoy the wildlife. The walk to the beach is minimal and perfect for adults and children. The rental property offers so many amenities such as bikes, beach toys, kayaks and paddle boards. The owners are terrific. This may be an annual trip for our family.

Our stay at “So Much Fun!” was great.
The house description was spot on and did not disappoint. The owners were quick to respond during the booking process. House was clean, updated, filled with items to make having a great family dinner easy. Carport under home allowed for 2 full size pick up trucks to easily park. Everyone loved the canoe and kayaks which made for great water activities. Neighbors around the home were friendly and welcoming.
We would stay again without hesitation.
