About this house rental

Approximately 2900 square foot coastal home situated on the 13th Tee of world-class Bodega Links golf course in South Harbour. Sleeps up to 11 persons comfortably.

It's a 5-bedroom, 3-bath home in Bodega Harbor South with spectacular views, reverse floor plan so everyone can enjoy the great views from the common living areas.

Downstairs is a full size, professionally balanced Pool Table. A full sized Hot Tub with screened fence is located in the back patio. Propane grill on wrap-around deck outside kitchen.

Master suite with Cal King, 3 bedrooms with queens, 1 bedroom with 3 single beds.
An additional twin mattress and queen futon can be made available.

Family-friendly environment with plenty of space and ocean views for everybody to be comfortable and relaxed. This home is being offered for gatherings and celebrations of families and friends but is NOT intended for 'partying'. If this is your plan, please select another property.

The home was beautifully kept, very clean and tidy. The rooms were spacious and well furnished with amazing views of the ocean. The home easily accommodated our group comprised of 9 family members of all ages. Property owner was very responsive.

We all had a great time visiting Bodega Bay! The home was very nice and clean. A few quirks like the stove needing to be lit manually and the microwave was difficult to open and close but we got through it. Thanks for sharing your home with us.

The home has many windows with great views and decks to enjoy. The kitchen views are great. There are a few minor maintenance issues that could be addressed to improve the kitchen. The home accommodated our group of 10 adults and one baby easily.

My family of 10 and I had a wonderful weeks vacation in this beautifully located rental. Quiet cul de sac, great for the kids riding bikes. Close access to walking trails with beautiful views. Everyone enjoyed playing ping pong and pool! Kayaking is only a few minutes away, which was the highlight of our vacation. Our family would definitely come back to this property. The owner was very accessible to our needs.

Nice big house with beautiful views. Pinnacle Gulch within walking distance. Doran beach close by and the Armstrong Redwood Forest was a 30 minute drive. We had a wonderful time.

Love the bright, open areas and huge kitchen! My favorite spot was the 2 lounger chairs and ottomans in front of the windows! The bedrooms and beds were comfortable. The downstairs felt a little damp (maybe benefit from damp-rid?) and the towels were rough to touch. Otherwise, we would stay again!

The location of the property was great. Very large house that was perfect for 7 adults. There were a few things that could warrant the attention of the owner. The hot tub needed attention and could use with a good cleaning. Overall, the property was good, but could do with an updating of the couches in the family room.

The house was clean, well-appointed, and fun for all! We loved the hot tub, the ping pong table, the pool table - made for competitive games! The walk to the beach is a little longer than advertised, but beautiful. We didn't have use of the washing machine which was tough with kids, and no soap in the showers or tub - we bought some. Just one bath towel per person, with no washing machine, was a challenge. But all in all it was a wonderful stay, one which we can recommend highly!

Beautiful house and great location near beaches, but it needs some attention. When we stayed, the washing machine was broken, and the dryer (we hand washed some clothes) didn't seem to dry clothes very well. In addition, the stove burners needed to be manually lit, the lower dishwasher rack kept coming off its rails, and the microwave open/close button kept getting stuck. Also, one of the bathroom drains didn't drain very well and only one of the 8 lights in the garage was functioning making playing pool and pingpong dim experiences.

Our stay was amazing. House is spacious with ample rooms and comfy beds. Lots of room to spread out or come together for meals and activities. Area is quiet and safe with lots to do at the beach or exploring the area.

The house was great for a big group but it does need some care. The stove has burners that are either high flames or if you try to lower it, they go off and the sliding screens were all hard to move and would come off the tracks. I’m sure with large groups, everyone doesn’t treat other peoples property with care but someone should check these things especially the stove. We did enjoy our stay there and the kids loved the ping pong and pool.

Our second stay at this house, this time with a couple more people. The five bedrooms easily handled our group of 8 people, and the Great Room is never crowded but still feels cozy. A lot of wind and rain while we were there but we stayed warm and comfy. The refrigerator is big - but a small nit is that you can't store anything in the door itself, as door shelf parts are missing - so can be a bit of an organizational challenge for any group that intends to stock the fridge for a lot of cooking. Hardly a fatal flaw - wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

This is a comfortable and well equipped property. It suited eight (8) adults quite nicely (4 couples). Don made it easy to access the home and it met our expectations...probably because his description is right on point. We need to come back.

We are a group of 4 couples that love to golf, cook, and drink great wine. Don, a great host has a beautiful home with awesome views and from the back deck you can watch golfers tee off on the 13th Tee Box. From the beautiful living/dinning room fantastic views of Bodega Bay. We enjoyed cooking in the kitchen, having our meals together at the extra large dinning room table, playing pool and then a soak in the spa. The home is clean and everyone slept comfortably.. Thank you for creating such a nice vacation home and sharing it with us. Happy Renters!!

The house is well situated in the Bodega Bay harbor golf course area with a brilliant view of the bay (from the front of the property). The house borders the 13th hole of the golf course so occasionally you would see golfers playing through. The great room was a perfect reunion setting for our family and provided ample space to relax and reconnect. The house was better in person than the photos suggest. This does appear to be a full time rental so some of the appliances are worn, however they are functional and the house is well stocked with everything you could need. The owner was communicative throughout the process and a pleasure to deal with. We would return.

We had a great stay. The house has a great layout and wonderful ocean and golf course views from all sides of the house. You can watch golfers from the deck or hot tub with no danger of being struck by balls, the house is behind the 13th tee box. It is close to the trailhead down to the beach. The kitchen is well stocked and labeled with basically everything needed.

We rented Gray Whale house for our 25th Anniversary with our kids and family members. Perfect location, amazing view. We loved the balconies to see the bay, the stars at night. The hot tub was so relaxing and the pool table was one of those old classic models. Everything was just right.

Some of the windows had an issue with water damage between panes of glass which limited some of the views of the ocean especially in the living room. The dishware and glassware was limited and sort of a hodgepodge of things. Otherwise a nice place.
