This spacious cabin on Cottonwood Creek combines the best of both worlds. Enjoy a feeling of blissful seclusion whilst being just a half mile from the beautiful parks, restaurants and dining options of Main Street. Sit on the deck & relax to the sound of the rushing stream below, weaving it's path to the Arkansas River. This peaceful, secluded 2 acre property with 300 ft river access provides a quiet, comfortable setting for those looking for a pristine Colorado mountain vacation experience.
Our 3000+ ft sq ft, 5 BR / 2.5 BA creek side home is ready to welcome the entire family, weary travelers, wandering explorers, or romantics-at-heart! Sleeping up to 14 people, this cabin is the perfect retreat for families or small groups to reunite and share in the beauty of this idyllic location. The well equipped kitchen allows meals to be easily and quickly prepared, whilst the family plays a game at the dining room table or watches the Smart TV (Spectrum) in the living room. A second large flat screen TV in the upper level living area (w/ bedroom and full ensuite bathroom) allows those with different preferences to tune into their favorite shows via Chromecast. Both the walkout level and main level have master bedrooms and bathrooms, ideal for a family vacation of a lifetime. The upstairs bedroom has a twin log bunk bed and sofa sleeper and offers an additional living area complete with a newly renovated full bathroom with walk in shower. The cabin is fully equipped for comfort with quality linens, dishes, silverware, pots & pans and outdoor gas grill, along with typical kitchen appliances including microwave, stove and oven, dishwasher and coffee maker.
Outdoors you can enjoy the hot tub, or spend hours playing with friends and family alike in the Games Room with table tennis, foosball, pool and a darts board - may the games begin!
Although located on the river in a secluded location, our cabin is just a 5 minute walk to the heart of South Main - an acclaimed New Urbanist neighborhood on the river park in downtown Buena Vista. Just minutes from the front door you can be walking by the Arkansas river, riding a cruiser bike around downtown BV, fly fishing, rock climbing, rafting, whitewater kayaking, mountain biking or enjoying a locally brewed craft beer at Eddyline Restaurant and Brewery. A few steps away are artful galleries and hip clothing boutiques. A few blocks further you will find unique shops and a make-your-own art studio, along with drinking and dining experiences, in historic BV. These stores include one of the largest retailers of whitewater kayaking gear in the world, a small (but also renowned!) sushi restaurant, a coffee roaster and a distillery. If you are into hiking, backcountry skiing or snowshoeing, trail heads to many of Colorado's most majestic 14'ers are just a few minute’s drive away.

There were 12 of my family members staying for my son’s wedding. The house was perfect for 6 couples. Many different spaces for everyone. The kitchen had every amenity you can think of along with extra spices and containers for storage of leftovers.
The yard was so relaxing with the creek and hot tub. The garage was used a ton with all the games to play. The guys saw fish in the creek.
Would definitely recommend! The manager was so prompt when we needed something once and fast communication.

We Truly enjoyed our stay in Buena Vista. This house was the perfect accommodation for our first annual family reunion. We enjoyed the game room and hot tub and even took a few cold plunges in the river (it was flowing really nice in early August). We enjoyed the surrounding towns, hikes, and rafting adventures. 10/10!

This house was a little slice of paradise. Excellent location, close to everything. Loved having coffee on the deck in the morning listening to the creek. The awning was a life saver since it was quite hot while we were there. The stars from the deck were amazing as well. The hot tub was super clean. The house was equipped with everything we needed (minus a blender) . Super quiet neighborhood, nestled in the trees. Plenty of parking, loved playing ping pong and pool before evening festivities! Some of us even took a dip in the creek! Wish we had more time to just chill at the house. Our only feedback, the master bedroom mattress was so firm we had to run to Salida to buy a mattress topper, otherwise it was brutal on my body. After that, all good

This was a great home for our 4 generations to stay in while in Buena Vista for a wedding. It was clean amd well kept and the kitchen was wonderfully stocked making it easy to cook for all of us. It was great having so many different levels with bedrooms on each to accomadate our families needs. The back yard was a nice place to relax and let the kids play as well as the game room. We enjoyed our time there immensely.

Our extended family of 14 stayed at this beautiful home for a week. The location is ideal for anyone who enjoys, fishing, hiking, water spirts, and spending time relaxing. Our ages ranged from 50’s to young children. Plenty of fans for weather changes, quality furniture, multiple bathrooms, and plenty of room to relax and hang out. Enjoyed the creek and game room. Hot tub worked wonderfully. Only thing I would change would be the beds. They were very firm but we prefer memory foam. Joanne was very attentive when I reached out and quick to respond and go out of her way to make us comfortable. Loved the vibe in the town and close to so many activities! Thank you so much for a location that provided amazing memories for 3 generation family! Best trip so far!

This house was perfect for our family getaway. The location of this house was perfect, it was close enough to BV that we were able to pop in to the City Market and get the essentials. The hot tub was amazing particularly in the early mornings as the sun was rising. The house was well equipped and we were able to prepare some fabulous breakfasts in the spacious kitchen. And there were so many rooms and beds to accommodate our large party. I would highly recommend this property, and we will most definitely be back.

We throughly enjoyed our time at the house! The owners were very helpful with an internet issue and was fixed quickly. The house was beautiful and so was the property. The kitchen was fully stocked with all small appliances. There were plenty of blankets, pillows and towels. Couldn’t have booked a better place.

We had a family gathering at the house and it was perfect. The location was excellent, the layout of the house was nice and having outside space for everyone to spread out was so appreciated. The house could use some upkeep (screens on the windows and doors were ripped and unusable) and the beds could be replaced but overall the experience was excellent.

Very Happy, Clean Vacation Stay
The house was very clean, well taken care of, very nice furniture, and located just a short walking distance from downtown Buena Vista. The is a detached garage that is very nice with a ping-pong table, pool table, foosball, along with two basketball goals outside. Our grandkids loved this area. We had a great stay.
They only complaint is the lack of care on the exterior landscape. The grass was tall and weedy when walking to the river in the back.
We would highly recommend this home!

Well stocked clean kitchen and great spaces to spread out
We were in town for a wedding so I personally did not spend much time at the property. We did use the garage fridge for wedding cupcakes and my nieces loved the game room. My husband and I each had to pull a trailer and we had plenty of parking. Positives: parking, garage game room with extra fridge, excellent kitchen, comfortable beds, comfortable furniture (hard to find in VRBO's), space to spread out, plenty of bathrooms, creek side, close to town, complimentary wine. Negatives: no wash clothes and one towel per person, no laundry, fans needed in all bedrooms. (it was warm) upstairs bedroom too hot to use. (be great in the winter)
