Our group of 4 felt like we won the lottery with this amazing home with distant views of the ocean from the kitchen window and an expansive view of the ocean from the rooftop patio. We loved the outdoor kitchen and bar for hanging out and remote work. Sunsets on the rooftop were spectacular.
We are serious home cooks and the kitchen had literally everything we could possibly need cookware and tool wise.
Cardiff was a great spot away from the crowds and traffic of LaJolla with quick access to beautiful Solana Beach and charming seaside destinations from Del Mar to Encinitas.
We will stay here again for sure!

The house was perfect for our stop in San Diego on our road trip. My husband and I stayed for 5 days and also worked a few days from home, even spent a few of those outside on the patio! The house had everything we needed to make all our meals and was the perfect layout for hanging out and relaxing. We can’t wait to return again, hopefully when skies are clear and we can catch the sunset from the upstairs deck!

Had everything we needed, was super clean and well appointed. The only issue we had was that the internet would drop at times, not sure this was in the owner's control so we didn't contact anyone about it. the house was gorgeous! Would stay there again.

We stayed here for a wedding and other events. The kitchen is complete, the amenities fantastic and the communication great through the property notebook and host. Comfortable beds and gorgeous viewing deck with ocean views. Highly recommend!

I booked this rental for friends visiting from all over California, it truly was a retreat! They enjoyed the outside space, deck and huuuuge kitchen.

The house is nicely updated and well equipped. It’s in a nice neighborhood that is close to downtown Encinitas and the freeway as well as the beach. The only thing I would mention is that there is a natural gas smell in the garage. It’s not that strong and the owner was very responsive when I mentioned it and came to check it with a meter. We loved our stay overall.

Well appointed, higher end , gorgeous house with exceptional appeal and well loved. Very comfortable and roomy. No stone left unturned when planning furnishings. Light and airy. Outside seating/eating area lovely and the sundeck ...perfect! Quiet area within a mile to very nice beach which can be seen from the house. Amazing sunsets. Will definitely return. George is a great host.

We had a wonderful time at the Cardiff house. The house was very clean and is only a mile to the beach, great restaurants, and shops. George was extremely responsive. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. The best part is the upper deck with views of the ocean. We’d go up there every morning for yoga and breakfast, and at the end of the day for sunsets. If I were to mention any negatives it would be that you can’t regulate the heat in the house yourself. It has a set program, so if it gets cold, like it did when we were there, George will have to change the program to make it warmer from his end. Also, you can hear the Hwy which is just a few blocks down the hill. But we didn’t notice that after a while. We look forward to staying there again sometime!

I really liked this house. It's very spacious with lots of areas to hang out in, inside and outside. The master bed is amazingly comfortable and I really loved being able to access the backyard from there as well.
The kitchen is stocked with plenty of pots/pans/devices which was a nice touch. There's a high chair and a packnplay in the garage which will be a lifesaver for anyone planning on bringing a little one.
Check in was easy, house was clean and welcoming and the sunset view from the sun deck is not to be missed. I highly recommend this house and I hope to return some day.

Great communication from the host, and an excellent location in a nice quiet neighborhood close to everything! Very clean with everything you need, for a comfortable stay with a great west-facing backyard and upper deck to enjoy the sunsets. We are two adults plus our two french bulldogs. Everyone was happy staying here. We will definitely stay here again the next time we are in town.

Perfect spot for us
This rental was perfect for our week. Quick freeway access was a big plus. The outdoor kitchen, covered patio and yard were wonderful. And the upstairs deck was ideal for early morning coffee and enjoying sunshine. The house had everything we needed and more. We will be back.

Great house with a great location
Stayed here for almost a week for a pre Thanksgiving vacation with my family. The house was very clean and great location, very close to the beach. The backyard was perfect for my kids to hang out and play around. The rooftop was a great addition to watch the sunset. Living room TV was not working but George the owner was on top of it to get it fixed for us. Would definitely come back.

Immaculate Dog Friendly property
We had a wonderful two week stay here with our dogs. The location was perfect! Only a short trip to Cardiff State Dog beach and the Seaside Market. Wedding Stay
Great location and easy to find/access off the Interstate, as well as, being just blocks from the ocean. It was very clean and comfortable for our family of four. The only criticism I would make is the lack of extra garbage bags, and soap/cleaner/softener for the dishwasher and washing machine. If we had needed the house for more cooking type activities and other family stuff, instead of being busy at a wedding, the limited amount of those items would have been really frustrating. Otherwise, though, the property was nice and back yard setting quite comfortable and well equipped.

Really great property
We had a lovely time at this property. The backyard is great with plenty of seating. The house was very clean and had a fully stocked kitchen. The beds were so comfortable. We all slept really well. I was very happy with the location being so close to the Seaside Market and downtown Encinitas. Plenty of parking. Nice neighborhood good for walking. I would definitely come back.

Snuck to this property to get out of town for a safe quarantine trip. It was fantastic! Awesome house to hang at and enjoy the backyard and roof top deck. Enough space to easily work for the week or just escape. George was great - even when we had silly questions. Would come again in an instant!
